Family - Friendly Buffets
Under thatched roofs, savor vibrant flavors from over 50 African countries-along with favorite American classics.
Greet your day with a cup of full-bodied Kenyan AA coffee, tropical juice and a bountiful breakfast buffet. Selections may include made-to-order omelets, French toast bread pudding, pastries, carved ham, fresh fruit and turkey bobotie-a type of South African quiche.
At dinner, watch chefs prepare Oak roasted meats, vegetarian specialties, coastal seafood dishes, fresh salads and house-baked pastries in the onstage kitchen. Kids can enjoy options like chicken nuggets, while Guests 21 years of age and up delight in unique South African wines-many of which are available by the glass.
You need a trigger warning, "Don't watch if you're dieting." Everything looked delicious. Lots of vegetarian options which I love.
LOL! This may be our #1 buffet option at Walt Disney World!

I've only had the breakfast, but it's my favorite meal on property. The French toast bread pudding was absolutely incredible! The breakfast bobotie was delicious, too. I'm not usually adventurous, but after a small taste, I went back for more!

Boma is my favorite...for both breakfast and dinner! Both have great food! The POG juice and zebra domes are the favorite items...you know...the classics!

We love Boma!! Finally ate there in August - adult, teen, and 8-year-old. I tried to get my money's worth - we went at the end of the breakfast seating, so it was our lunchtime and we were good and hungry. Used our Disney Visa for the discount as well. The food was so good.

I would definitely try the dinner buffet.
I think the price is fair because most of us would not be able to purchase all the ingredients and with that being said, how do you prepare the different dishes!!!
Unique dining experience with so much to choose from.
Dessert looked delicious and decadent.
Only the prime beef was to rare for me.
What is the best time line to make reservations?
Some are booked so far in advance and can’t get in.

We haven't tried their breakfast, we will try it next time we go back to Animal Kingdom Lodge (this was our 2nd time staying here and forgot how much we loved it)!

We haven't eaten at BOMA yet. We need to. Especially now since I have seen the buffet. Even though I haven't seen the breakfast buffet, I think I would pick the dinner buffet. It looked awesome.
I think this is our favorite Buffet at Walt Disney World! So many great things TCD!
@@AdventureIsOutThere We have only done the buffet at Cape May at the Beach Club Resort. It was outstanding. That bread pudding , oh my. We need to certainly do more special buffets, even though they all are really a bit pricey. But there are times when people need to splurge and not worry about it. LOL. I'm talking to me right there. LOL!

Food all looked great.. however pricing seems a bit high. Of course I guess I should consider it is a resort. But either way thanks for the regular videos. You guys are awesome

I agree with you, Veteran Vlogger. Food is expensive in general at Walt Disney World. I am refraining from being too frank concerning the value of BOMA, I don't want to give up my knowledge of BOMA, bc I'd like to keep my job. Don't do it. It's not worth it, the food is subpar and comes as "extras" (in other words- leftovers) from other buffets throughout the Disney hotels. Youre essentially paying full price for food that is close to expiration . This is bc BOMA is quite a ways from main/ central truck deliveries. Guests (now referred as "Friends") are paying top dollar for food that is not as fresh as any other restaurant or buffet in or near the resort. The 10% "discount" is a giveaway to Cast Members that there will be a lack of tip. We always send new ppl to anyone we hear bragging to guests/ friends that they get a 10% discount. We know that they don't tip, or don't tip well, and typically video tape everyone in the restaurant, ask "is it ok if I film in here?" We look at that as tacky.

Isn't it a beautiful lodge? I don't know which I like better. Wilderness Or AK! Have you tried the Character buffet at Animal Kingdom at Tusker House? We call the au Jardin beans "Disney Beans". 😅 They show up everywhere.
We went 10 years prior and forgot how much we liked it. We brought home a candle that has the same smell as the lobby! We have done Tusker House, but not on video yet.
I have a haunted mansion candle. I don't know how they do it, but they smell perfect.
@@janasheets890 You can actually get Disney candles at Bath & Body Works. Frozen Lake smells like Flight of Passage & Lakeside Morning smells like Pirates of the Caribbean.

@@janasheets890 Yes, a family member sent us a number of candles from them. I find lakeside morning on sale from time to time at bath & body works which are all over the country.

Correct...About $200-$250 for a family of 5 depending on kids ages.
