We were there about ten years ago and it was the most memorable stay of our lives. From the staff at the hotel, to the animals, to the food - everything was absolutely PERFECT!!
Boma is my fav buffet at disney! I could eat my weight in zebra domes! Did breakfast last trip, yum😊 Unfortunately, the dinner price has gone up too much for us. At least I can get zebra domes at the Mara 👍
Boma by far is our favorite restaurant in all of the parks with sanaa a close second.

I just love this place, stayed several times. The first time we stayed (when it opened in 2001) I wake up to "mooing", I was so confused but then remembered where I was. Looked out the window to some sort of water buffalo(?) saw the giraffes and storks, heaven!! Thanks for taking me along, just love you guys.
"Two zebras and a horned thing." 🦓🦓 "Bananary" 🍌LOL. I really enjoyed seeing the design details at this resort.That lobby is incredible.
On our last trip to Disney we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was Christmas time and it was absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite things was later at night, when things had died down, I'd go out of our room door and look down at the Christmas tree and hear the Christmas music playing in the background. With the rest of the lights in the hotel dimmed down the Christmas tree was just absolutely stunning! We didn't get a chance to eat at Boma, but definitely will keep it in mind for our next trip! Love Boma and AKL. My favorite resort. A couple years ago we were upgraded to the Asante Presidential Suite which Sam pointed out. Gorgeous. It was a complimentary upgrade. Special anniversary trip and birthdays too. It was a very magical experience which we will never forget. Love your vlogs and such a great couple.

Years ago we were upgraded to the Vice Presidential suite! It was so amazing! The MOST magical moment we've ever had at Disney!

Great footage! We have just stayed in Jambo house, we treated ourselves to club level and had an amazing view of the Sunset savannah! Sanaa was our favourite, the nann breads were amazing ☺️

Seeing this video has sparked me to want to eat at Boma. We might when we come down in September. The best bread pudding I have ever had was at Cape May. It was so good. But you have to add the white cream sauce to it. I'd go back there just for that bread pudding.

What a beautiful resort with all the woodwork and the Animals real and wood carvings. I wonder how they find ways to keep all the animals cool. The food and the drinks all looked delicious.

Loved this review. One of our favorite stops every trip. You were very lucky tp get the ribs! It is hit or miss on them. They change up the meat selections. The Turkey is amazing too when they have it. Such a beautiful place. Smores and giraffes! What s better?
Oh my gosh one of the nights that I ate there they had a gumbo it may have been like a seafood gumbo but it was a gumbo nonetheless and they had the rice to go with it and oh muh ggggaaawwwssshhh! It was so amazing. My favorite place to eat at Disney. Bar none. 🙂🙂🙂

We sat at the windows on our first trip to Boma also. We used to make sure to eat there on each trip, but I heard that the food had gone downhill, so we haven't been since before the pandemic. Thanks for showing that the food is as good as it used to be. It looked good.
Animal kingdom lodge is absolutely beautiful!! I love all the details and how it’s all set up and the restaurant looked really cool!! The food looked really good too especially the peanut rice!! I’m so glad that you and Sam had a great meal there and got some time to look around and look at the animals!! so cool, you got to see all the animals walking around!! I love the giraffe!! I love Sams fun facts, and how you guys kept saying Zabra instead of zebra lol 😀😂😂😂!! ❤❤😊😊🥰🥰

Love Boma! I remember I loved their carrot ginger soup and my husband liked the potatoes with afritude. And I just love the way you put your vlogs together. It’s like going there with you. I appreciate you showing us the savannah and the Victoria Falls bar. It makes me want to book an AKL stay so badly!

My family stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge once and it was just as awesome as it was for your visit. We somehow managed to get a free upgrade to a Savannah View Room, so woke up to the giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, etc getting their breakfast. That was so cool! A couple of things I remember are how incredibly large the resort is. You do almost as much walking around the resort as you do the parks! The hallways were dark, which I thought was strange, and I remember this one hallway with a staircase that was carpeted with a pattern that made the steps completely disappear. I tried walking this hallway after enjoying some libations at one of the lounges and almost broke my neck. Still - had a great time there and 10/10 would do it again.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is my DVC home and I absolutely love the scenery and the restaurants. I haven't gone to a buffet since covid, but hopefully I can get myself to go next time we go home!❤

I love that restaurant, it is so good. I stayed at Kidani village a couple of times, and I love it there. That is one of my favorite resorts, I love to get a savanna view room and wake up in the morning and look at the animals.

Never stayed there but did visit back area. We ate a Sana? I think Or something like that. Was a great meal and a nice hotel. Pricey for rooms there for sure. But I don't remember some of those sights. Coming out of town normally for cruises I can't even think about staying there. Heh... Cheers!

I ate at Bomas a while ago and it was pretty good and i recently ate at Hollywood and vine which is a character breakfast and i loved it

What absolutely amazing looking food! I bet it all smells heavenly. I had no idea that there was a buffet at AKL. It's my friend's favorite resort and she stays there every time she goes to Disney, but I'm not sure she's been to Boma! I'll be sure to ask her.
I love the different African motifs spread throughout the resort. It's so beautiful and is truly a work of art.

One of my favourite dvc resorts , I love the night vision goggles ! (Staying in a one bedroom in September) love the campfire and the story teller ! The Victoria lounge bar staff are amazing ! The pool bar tender Laura is the best ! I’m not so fond of Boma ,as I’m not a all you can eat buffet person ! Love Jiko ! The wine tasting in Jiko is worth a visit !

Animal Lodge makes me nostalgic for time spent (a month) in South Africa 8 yrs ago. Everything was breath-taking.
I’ve never been to Animal Kingdom lunch, but I have been to Animal Kingdom itself and it was before the rapids ride opened when they have Journey to the jungle book we’re Nemo is but I hope to go there in June one time can you see elephants at jambo house?
Gorgeous landscape but... i gotta say that Loews Sapphire Falls Resort is my favourite one. Over all the waterfalls in between buildings. Amazing resort, hope you come back soon
Of course that giraffe was still eating. Wild animals do two things, they eat and they sleep. Sometimes they do a third thing if you know what I mean.

You’re on a running streak of visiting all our favorite resorts! 😍 And AKL is the absolute BEST of them. Just like there’s never a bad time to sit at the fire, there’s never a bad time to stroll out onto the savanna and do some animal-spotting! ‘Zee-bras’ VS. ‘Zeh-bras’ - the debate rages on 😂 We’ve only ever had breakfast at Boma, but dinner looks incredible, too! Spice is definitely _our_ forte haha but I can always get behind a good plate of potatoes, too! As far as I’m concerned, the fact that you don’t love the zebra domes just means that there will be more on hand for the rest of us. And OMG, the hidden Simba! How could we have missed this for so long?? 😮 Great video, made us miss Jambo House something fierce!
I would love to eat at Boma one day. It's definitely on my Disney bucket list.

En France un parc a ouvert des hotels dans son parc en s'inspirant du concept de l'animal Kingdom c'est beaucoup plus simple, en revanche nous pouvons voir de très très près des rhinocéros également. Le parc s'appelle "le pal" et l'hotel le "savana reserve du pal"
