The coolest thing is Kiyanga was born when I was driving for Kilimanjaro Safaris, it's so cool to see her being a mom and living her best life.
Once again Molly gives us a master class in character interactions. She makes it look effortless. That behind the scenes elephant tour is now on my list for our next visit. Thank you for the suggestion.
yes!!!!!!!!!
Molly I swear, you guys are always putting out the most relevant content for my upcoming trips 😭 can’t wait to do the Giants tour when we stay at AKL soon!! Thanks for another awesome video! ❤
Molly, I know you hear this all the time, but your delivery of information, inclusion of your audience and passion for what you do shines through in every video. This was great insight. Thank you.
Your beverage goblin setup was a hidden Mickey 😊 I love how the characters seem to recognize you and are just as excited to see YOU! So, the real question, where can I get Molly tickets? 😁A personal Molly tour, please! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gotta love Molly in AK video! I also agree Tusker House is underrated! We did it as our character meal last year during our daughter's 1st visit to Disney. The food was delicious and character interactions were plentiful and memory-making! Goofy created a little dancing circle with some kids who didn't see our 2 year-old toddling over but Goofy did and made sure to open up the circle for her and it still brings me to tears to think about! 🥹
I love hearing stories like this!
@@zusanlist3623 Disney cast members are just a different breed of people. They're some of the best of us! ❤
Molly is always in her element in AK, but getting to see her do something so unique is extra special. I was lucky to do Caring for Giants on my last trip and it was one of the most special things I’ve ever done in a Disney park. All the rides/shows/etc are their own magic, but these unique experiences truly make a trip all the more special.
Did you make a reservation? I can never get one and my kids are dying to do this!
@@sarahmays9896 I did! My original plan last trip was the rhino tour, but I learned after the fact that the experience/tour reservations open the same time as dining reservations for your trip, so I missed out on that while caring for giants still had availability
I had no idea tours like this existed in Disney. So glad you're highlighting experiences like this.
❤
Awwww I recognize that elephant tour Cast Member. She did my Wild Africa Trek. ❤️❤️
My mom and I took this tour and loved it sooo much! We still look for our favorite elephant, Donna, every trip. Thank you for sharing this!
Molly thank you for showing all the different offerings that Disney offers about animals. You are the best!
Chefs kiss to this video!
My favorite character dining is Tusker house and the Caring for Giants experience is on my bucket list.
Loved our Keys to the Kingdom tour but my two all time favorite experiences at WDW so far are the Starlight Safari and the Rhino experience (we were lucky enough to have a handler s show us some of the behaviors they teach the rhinos so the vets can do their check ups etc)
When you consider the cost of what your average meal or Souvenirs cost in WDW, I feel like these experiences with animals are so worth it - plus the proceeds go back into conservation!
You are the best at character interactions. Awesome video as always!
You’ll definitely have to do the Rhino tour too! Especially if you get to see the babies!
The new mics are working great! Thought you could use a little feedback on them….get it?!?! 😂
The most up close and personal experience I get to experience is magic of Disneys animal kingdom on Disney+. Ur so lucky to do what you do!
Absolutely LOVE these hidden gem videos. They are so interesting and full of cool facts. Animal Kingdom is my absolute favourite park of the 4 so it’s always a treat to see new videos!
Mollie with this year being the 100th anniversary of the company you should dive into history. That means visiting Marceline and Kansas City. Walt grew up Marceline. He tried unsuccessfully to start his business in Kansas city.
Molly, this is probably a really dumb question but if anyone will know/have advice it's you. When doing buffets solo, what's the best way to indicate that the table is still occupied if you get up to get another plate of food? I'm planning my first solo trip, and now I'm considering doing Tusker House (after this video), but I've never done a buffet alone. I don't want anyone to think I'm skipping out on the bill!
TUSK-er house + elephants = a MAM-azing Sunday! 🐘
Happy Mother’s Day to all!
The Elephant tour looked so great! I can’t get enough of animals either. Stellar character interactions as always! They seemed excited to see you too. 😊
Surprised there wasn't more interest in the elephant poop...visitors loved getting hands on with that when I was a zoo educator.
Loved tusker house when we went a few years ago. Going right before lunch let me have the food I preferred in their breakfast menu and let my wife have the food she preferred in their lunch menu.
My favorite park as well. It doesn’t get the love it deserves but I’d rather lesser crowds. Great video.
winnie the pooh and friends is our fav cause Pigglet gives the beat hugs EVER...fav not for the food IMO...not good at all but the characters are priceless! ❤
best not beat lol sorry
Brilliant vid, love love Elephants! But, can we take sec. Molly has gone an actual African Safari? How did that get lost!??? And there's video evidence? Ish? 😍😎😍
I love this tour! I've done it twice and it's been a totally different experience both times and both tour guides had different information that they gave us. Both were so friendly and knowledgeable! We learned so much. It's awesome you got to see both matriarchs! I feel like that's probably a rarer occurrence.
Note to self…never be on a team against Molly in a competitive game of charades. She’s got serious skills interpreting signals and movement!
I would like to see you go Horseback Riding at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort...!!!
I bet the character actors love it when someone actually talks to them. Gives them something fun to do.
Thanks, Molly, for another great video and Animal Kingdom Adventure ❤ it's so fun to watch you experience things for the first time 😊
Love this series of park tours/experiences 😍
Would love to see you, Alan and Max do the Steam Train experience and any of the VIP WDW tours 😀
After watching this video, our daughter is dying to go eat at Tusker House now. We will have to take her next time we go to WDW!
Excited to try Tusker House in August! Can’t decide between breakfast or lunch/dinner.
I’ve been to WDW 70 times and yesterday was my first time ever eating at Tusker House and it was AMAZING! The dinner buffet blew me away! Only bummer was that Goofy skipped over us, luckily it was our 5th character meal of the trip.
I feel like we need to take a collective moment and appreciate the man’s outfit at 1:18… it’s so on theme
I loved the elephant tour! But I did it in August and will advise -- those vans to get to the elephants were BRUTALLY hot!! If you go in the summer, do NOT forget the fans, water, and cooling towels!!
Just before you said braised collards, you said “some” and then paused for a while. And my brain immediately filled in the silence with “body once told me” 😂
I had never heard of this and I have an autistic adult son who would love it and the price is right so we are probably going to try this on our next trip.
Taking pictures of Donald ... the person in the background looked like he was having a great time watching it, too.
Love love love this series with the tours! Molly is still killing it with her videos…giving all the need to know info and making it all fun.
Amazing video Molly can my family and I order the tickets for this experience?
I did the Caring For Giants tour in January and it was one of the highlights of my trip. We got lucky that one of the child elephants got zoomies and chased a bird.
I can’t wait to do that on our honeymoon. Elephants are my fav! Thanks Molly you are the best!❤
MOLLY: 🎉 May the force be with you 💫✨🌟⭐️
Star Wars galactic star cruiser ! Staying over nights on the star cruiser 😎
Rent bikes and ride around the parks either separately or one bike for 2 people😎
You said one elephant might be pregnant and this was 11 months ago, so I went to google to check - turns out the baby was born in February! They're pregnant for ~21 months, really surprised they didn't know for sure she was pregnant 9 months before the birth.
We have Tusker House reservations for our trip in July! We last went in May 2018 and loved it. 55 days left!
The elephant experience was so amazing. My husband and I did that in 2022. It was so cool as elephants are probably my favorite elephant. For the price I highly recommend it!
This is on my list next time I bring my nephew who wants to be a vet for large animals and just did a trip to Fredricksberg elephant reserve. Right up his ally I think! So glad to see something on it. Excited to see you do the Rhino one someday cause that’s on the list too
We took our kids on a pirate ship boat ride that went out on the lake and I think we got to watch fireworks from the boat. DO they still do that one? You should go!!
Really interesting video! Love elephants so much, one of my favorite animals.
Thanks for the video and information!
I've tried many times to get reservations for the elephants or the rhino tour and it's always full! What's the secret?
Have you heard of the Myakka Elephant Ranch in southern FL? Fantastic organization & wonderful experiences available where you can do a lot more than look at them from several yards away. I got to give 2 of the 3 elephants there a bath, including what I'm calling a pachyderm pedicure!
Always thanking you so much for everything and this, for all these years.
I can't help but mention that in this video, you look sad or emotional... Is it for the elephants??
Cedi says, thank you again for all this generosity...
Tusker house is one of our favorites
Characters aside which restaurant would you prefer, Tusker House or Boma for dinner? Trying to decide if it’s worth leaving the park for Boma or to stay in the park since the food at Tusker House looks delicious(especially the shawarma).
The tour looks great. Love your videos. Where's Allen? How do you book the tour?
We had breakfast at Tusker House last year right after our safari ride. One of our favorite meals of our trip!
my new life goal is to go on all the unique tours disney has to offer.
Ahhh I love Tusker house... Haven't been in so many years.
Love the elephants! Tusker House on the other hand we've decided after trying multiple times, is just not to our flavor palate but love the characters!
Are people with disabilities able to do this. Wheelchair scooter or walker
Looks amazing!
How do you book it? How far in advance did you book?
Do Tusker House still do the breakfast curry? We had it last year and LOVED it, but cant see it on the menu anymore
Is Caring For Giants wheelchair accessible? My wife can walk short distances but for WDW she has to use the chair.
Loved this video ❤ elephants are my absolute favorite 😍
Those elephants!!!!! Also I need to add Tusker House next trip!
What mics did you switch to? It looked like y'all were using the DJI ones previous to this.
Molly! Love your videos. Where did you get that hat. I’m obsessed with it!!!!
That meal looked so delish, but that price tag-I know it's all about the characters though...
Hi Molly I can't find any content on if I went to Tusker House at 8:00am (before the park opens), could I eat and then make it to Flight of Passage at Early Opening at 8:30am. I know everyone recommends going from here to Kilimanjaro Safari but this will NOT work for us since by the time we get off.................Flight of Passage will be 3 hours. Would love to see this challenge video. ****Actually I'd love to see it at MK too from Cinderella's Royal Table and also Crystal Palace. ***It won't work at EPCOT since their meals start at the same time as Early Opening Time. LOL
Thanks!
With a 30 minute window, it's not likely, unless you plan to scarf the food down and skip most character interactions. If you're planning to do that meal anyway, and for the experience, I would block off an hour of time once the park has opened and you'll be able to relax and enjoy it. If you just need an excuse to wait in a shorter line and aren't set on the character meal for what it is, it's way cheaper to pay for the individual lightening lane than for a 30 minute meal that's priced higher for the full experience. That's pretty much true of any pre park open character meal. If you're staying on property, then using that 30 minutes to jump in the queue of a highly popular attraction (and potentially done and in a second queue before other guests come in) is a much better strategy, and then have a relaxed breakfast while everyone else is rushing around to their first ride in park open volume queues. I don't know the full extent of your plan strategies, or whether you're staying on or off Disney property, but hopefully that was helpful! 😊
Going to Tusker House on my trip next week, and this video helped me a lot!
MAM fam, I've done the Savor the Savannah Tour Twice and it is ABSOLUTELY worth it!!! PLEASE DO THAT VIDEO!!! I'm in the process of trying to figure out how I'm going to convince my partner how we should do it again!!! lol
This was so interesting! I now want to go on that tour when we visit Disney in a few months. The only thing is, though, the video didn't mention if the tour was handicapped accessible. Can I go on it if I'm in a wheelchair or ECV? And if I can ask, can you let us know when you go on the tours if they're handicapped accessible or if you have to be able to walk (like you told us in your other AK tour with the crocodiles)? Thank you. Navigating Disney can be difficult & confusing when you're mobility impaired.
Thanks Molly! Tusker House looks so awesome 🥰 Storyteller's Cafe at Disneyland is my favorite character dining so far, but I haven't been to Toplolino's or Storybook Dining yet.
So cool! Funny enough, I just did an elephant encounter tour in Texas and they had Asian elephants! So interesting to see and hear the difference between the two species. Apparently, Asian elephants have more in common with woolly mammoths and African elephants have more in common with mastodons, than they do with each other (genetically speaking). Wild!
I need to meet Daisy! I would love to eat at Tusker House!
Really enjoyed this video, Molly! I think having options for tours is one of the best things Disney does. It opens up a whole new level of experiencing Disney and the feel of being in a small group is so much more personal than what you get anywhere else inside the park. Speaking of personal experiences, character dining is another great option so I'm glad you combined those 2 specifically in one video!! I LOVE Tusker House, but it's not my favorite character dining experience. It does run a close second to my favorite, though, which is Garden Grill! There is just nothing like having Chip and Dale as part of character dining, imo! They are so mischievous and I'm living for it! Also my favorite character interaction with my daughter happened at Garden Grill, when Dale played a game of tic-tac-toe with her! The food is really good, too, and also at Tusker House, which is more unique than your average character dining buffet. The other character dining experience that's super close in the running to those 2 is Crystal Palace! As far as location, the winner definitely goes to Cinderella's Royal Table, but other than location, the food isn't worth the price. But being surrounded by princesses IN Cinderella castle is pretty magical! I could go on with others, but my post is long enough already! Lol Just sharing some feedback from experience and because you asked us about it! 😂
We did Tusker House back in January, it's one of our favorite character dining! We want to do Toppolino's Terrace next time! Wished we'd known about the elephant tour!
I loved Tucker house in AK. My favorite character dining is at fort wilderness lodge. Storybook dining. Magical
Thank you so much for doing these “extras” videos! I’m trying to decide between Up Close with Rhinos and Caring for Elephants for my upcoming trip. I would love to see more content like this! It really helps with planning.
thanks for sharing love to see you do more tours
We did the caring for giants this past February. Loved it!! Our tour guide did say one of the females was currently about a year along in her pregnancy with another year to go. Crazy. So worth the money for this tour.
Molly this is such a cool experience. Okay I’ve been avoidingTusker house thinking it wasn’t so great but after your review it’s now on my list for next trip 💐❤️
Watching and/or hearing people eat usually makes me sick. Molly is the only exception! So enjoy these reviews and will happily watch her eat every bite!
It’s been a minute since I’ve done TUSKER. I went right before the pandemic. It’s just SO loud in there.
Loving these experiences videos would also love some “small what’s in my park bag” video or even your collector mug/cup collection (we know you have a lot Molly!)
Do you have a video for Hidden Gems in Magic Kingdom?
We had the same tour guide. She did such a good job especially with the kids. Really good experience. Tusker House is our favorite restaurant !
We love Tusker House! The food is wonderful and interesting for more adventurous eaters and there is plenty for those of us that want to eat only familiar food. The character interactions are terrific. We saw each character multiple times for extended interaction. My grandchildren loved it, too!
Molly I can’t believe you smoked elephant poop 😂
Elephants are my favourite animal and I did not know this existed! Definitely on my list whenever I go back 🐘
Thank you for letting us know about the elephant adventure. My husband would love it. have to do it the next time we come back to WDW.
I would have thrown my name tag out immediately
Oh my gosh!!! I legit just did caring for giants last week!!!! It was AMAZING
Hello Molly I just found your channel and loved the history of Animal Kingdom video. Have you ever rode an elephant?
I got super emotional when i first walked into Animal Kingdom cause it was my actual first time in AK and just i was so happy to go and everyone was super friendly! it was strange
My boyfriend and I went on the Elephant Tour during our very first visit. We got lucky and the whole group of female elephants got really close and walked past the viewing platform. He has a selfie with the elephants and loves the name poop-tag that we go to keep. It was an amazing tour and learning all those fun facts was a great time! We also saw one of the boys in the distance laying down to take a nap.
My daughter loves Animal Kingdom and elephants are her favorite animal. So this is right up her alley!!!
Thank you for sharing Molly! I am going to do some of these experiences. I love Elephants!
This is my bucket list experience - keep looking for it to be available but no luck yet
