Well 2 Unlimited was a famous Netherland band in the early 90's, especially in Eastern-Europe , where I came from, so of course I prefer this music than the "rather generic" feeling japanese one, I know its blasphemy for many, but what you can expect from a man who grew up on Eurodance& 2Unlimited(Techno)? And actually this music is much more high octane for this game than the japanese one( I played both of them all the way to the end). The only problem is the VARIETY of songs, mostly only Get Ready, Twilight Zone, Tribal Dance, and 2 unrecognizable songs used (even for a 2 Unlimited fan like me).. And there was way more good songs from the band what should've used. So because of this it feels like a little too sloppy work from the sound department...
Worst gun firing sound ever. Spent all their money acquiring the song rights instead of having a competent audio engineer. Most of the game is a low quality Gradius knock off anyway. Good playthrough however.
Well actually when I first saw this game what got me really is the 2 Unlimited music (im an avid fan of Anita&Ray),also as a fan of scrolling shooters, this is a typical "dime in a dozen" shooter, just like the "isekai" series nowadays.
Depends on point of view, I cant say anything about the sound effects , they are not better even the japanese version, but for me the japanese music is depressing, not fit for a shooter like this, however average it is...
yeah, they're gratingly bad, whoever converted those songs really did NOT care. The background graphics are kinda eye-bleeding too, especially that first zone with the blocky quickly repeating clouds, it's so freaking hard to see what's going on because it's hard to even look at....
Y'all ready for this?
not really!
Ready, ready, ready for this...
Didn't think I'd hear 2 Unlimiyed in a game!
The nicest thing I can say about this game is that I don't disagree with it.
Ah yeah the shooter that had hockey music.
Every time I hear Too Unlimited, I vision basketball. But yeah, hockey works too.
But it’s worth mentioning the JP/Saturn (Dezaemon 2) version had an original soundtrack.
@@rockhyde7775 Yeah it instantly reminded me of NHL 96' on Super Nintendo.
Like Sonic CD this one also has a different soundtrack in JP and the US. Also Sonic CD and this released within the same week.
Blasting aliens to the Jock Jams album
The main theme and some level themes being "Let's Get Ready to Ruuuuummmmbllllllle!" throws me off.
The intro music sounds like the one that played in that SpongeBob episode.
I actually prefer the soundtrack from the Japanese version. Great game 😊😊😊
This is one of the hardest games I've ever played
That song from the beginning...lol I prefer the japenese version!
Laying down hit after hit from the STG department!
The background stories of some of these games still surprise me.
Just Like Basketball, Space Jam Theme Music
Watched SpaceJam 1st , then found this game years later, yeah, i said, wait, it has SpaceJam music.
2 unlimited music
Got this on my RG 405M.
Isn't this, like, Eternal Warriors theme or something?
¿Why the audio is too bad??
🤔🤔
왜 2 unlimited의 멜로디가 나오는거야?
Too bad we can't hear the music properly from monophonic speakers. Some music elements were done using surround effect.

They were huge in the UK as well. I've got 2 of their albums.

You don't like hearing the pilot talk about butts every time he pulls the trigger?
@@mitchells2003 Why should I ? At least with this the game got some unique traits, otherwise it would be a total boredom...
@@Phalanxter My comment was for synergy021
@@mitchells2003 Ah ok.
Super R-Type Knockoff??
Sound effects and music are terrible
