Only two people refused to write, the rest of the class was just jotting shit down the whole time. Well, the good news is that Alex Jones got charged for defamation and his lunatic fan, Wolfgang Halbig, got arrested for false ID on one of the parents of the victims in 2020. The saddest part about the controversy is that most people still believe in his conspiracies that ultimately disrespects the deceased children who claimed to be "actors" on set and most news programs like CNN got affected drastically no matter how infamous that guy is. These children and the parents deserves better.

I don’t think he said “yikes” to the actual “Fuck Hitler” portion, I think he said “yikes” because he didn’t know the context of why the original guy said “Fuck Hitler” and just assumed he was doing it for attention, which if someone was going around talking about how much they hate Hitler in order to try and get people to like them more, I’d yikes too. I'm from Germany, came to the US when I was 3, and people called me a nazi when we started learning about the holocaust. it sucked and to know people are defending him makes me sick.
So this blew up, here's a quick update:
When I wrote this I was 15 (now 16) and there have been 5 or 6 more times I've been called a n@zi. The only reason people knew was because I only spoke German for a huge portion of my life and still have a thick German accent, and my last name sounds VERY German. zippy I actually had this history teacher in middle school assign us to write an in-class essay about the positive outcomes of slavery. Only two people refused to write, the rest of the class was just jotting shit down the whole time. Once the time was up she declared that there was no good outcome of slavery and essentially turned the lesson into the issue of mindlessly taking orders from authorities, and that led into the discussion of WW2. It was honestly amazing and she constantly blew everyone’s minds.
