John a wee tip for fitting after market regulators. Where you drilled out the holes to 6mm for a 6mm bolt, try drilling them out to 7mm but don’t tighten the bolts totally run the window up and down a couple of time’s to allow the mechanism to align itself, then snug the bolts up. The 7mm hole just allows for wiggle room on a non patent part as it maybe very slightly different. 👍🏼 Used to fit quite a few mechanisms back in the day and this worked well with the tight ones Hope this helps 👌🏼
@@oldskoolmotors2802 it’s just the fractional differences in copy parts bud. Hopefully gets you up and running smoothly. Teflon spray in the window rubbers as well bud gets them moving well with even less friction 👍🏼
