Beautiful sled Mike. You’re turning me into a doo fan. Could you please provide an update on throttle lag. For this reason, I decided against ski doo my last purchase.
Thanks Jimmy. There's no question about it - they simply make beautiful sleds. The engine hasn't changed so the throttle delay is still there. We are planning to do some work to it and perhaps that can help but I won't know until that's done. Cheers, Mike
Do you have the skis set to wide stance (2 bushings to one side)? I found gave a weird ride, better to have the ski leg in the middle of the ski. Your thoughts ?
I got the same fully loaded sled. The hyper silver is killer! The fan up front is to help lower the air temperature in the engine bay. It's run by the exhaust temperature not the coolant temperature.
Very Cool sled, look’s fantastic, now, if we can get some snow. Does your friend make custom gas caps for others? I want one for my matryx with my own logo. If yes, could I get his info or contact you in reference? Thanks, enjoy the new sled !
We just added gas caps to our website (sledaddicz.com). Send me an email jesse@sledaddicz.com and I can get a custom one made for you with your logo. Cheers, Jesse
We speak about this in many of our videos. The BRP Go application is simply not as reliable as our Garmin's, so we prefer those for trail maps / GPS and not the gauge. Cheers, Mike
As always, I'll try a few setups but leaning towards a 6" betgstrom triple point with stocker on the outside. This sled doesn't feel as heavy to steer as the Mach which I can't figure out. Once I get some miles on, I'll do a quick video update. Cheers Mike
Did your buddy get his Lynx yet? I am picking mine up on Friday.. can’t wait. If your buddy gets his knee pads on throw a pic of it in your next video. Still on the fence on how they will look with the shape of Lynx panels.
Trail seat bag works and we have been running it the past 1000 kms on this sled. It pushes the seat a bit but doesn't appear to be doing any damage. Cheers, Mike
Yup all g4 and g5 850 bag accessories work with the 900r in the G5. It will not work with the widebody bag. The narrow body bag is meant for all g5s now. Cheers, Jesse
lol they are cheaping out Mike, most guys that have this adjustable handlebar set them and forget them. I never adjust mine, no one in my group does either
850 comes with the ultra low, which is tinted the same. If Jesse has the low, it was added as an accessory, those are not tinted, have to order the 900r windshield for it to be tinted. How are you getting map updates on a Garmin?
What a beautiful machine! I love it!!
Thanks buddy!
Great video as always, intense detail! If you ever decide to go into the snowmobile guide business, especially in Quebec - sign me up
Thanks for watching! I'd love to - could be my retirement job lol ... cheers, Mike
All we need now is the snow to fall can’t wait to get out there
Exactly!

Try it out on the Hill and Gully Riders trails. Club 766. Best club in Quebec
We've been invited this year and planning to go! Cheers, Mike

Yes. I always set them to the widest setting, so I can't comment on any difference compared to other settings. Cheers, Mike
I have the same machine in black can’t wait seems faster than my 23
We love it! Just finished logging around 1000 kms on it last week. Cheers, Mike

Nice!! Oh interesting. Thanks for letting me know! Cheers, Mike

Hey Mike what are you using for carbides ?
Hey Chris. We are running our bergstrom 6" triple points as always. Cheers, Jesse
What is the function of the rocker switch on the left side? I have a fully loaded 24 xrs as well that does not have this switch.
Hey Zach. Great question. That is for the signal LED handguard lights. Cheers, Jesse
Sweet sled. Just wondering do you know why they added the fan? I have a 22 900 R just wondering are they running hot?
Do you have temperature read out yours? I have ‘22 900R here. It’s always ran 130-140F. It’s normal for 4 stroke to run hotter.
Not sure actually Jimmy. Sorry about that! Cheers, Jesse
Curious on why you run the glove box extension with phone holder for your Garmin if the 10" display already has trail maps/GPS.
We speak about this in many of our videos. The BRP Go application is simply not as reliable as our Garmin's, so we prefer those for trail maps / GPS and not the gauge. Cheers, Mike
Did you remove the front yellow reflectors?
Yes I did. Cheers, Mike
What carbide setup will you run?

He hasn't gotten it yet. Another customer is hopefully sending me pics soon. Cheers, Jesse
You guys are gonna make me do it tonight in the garage aren’t you
@@TheLeblancGroup YES!! 🙏🙏🙏
What seat bag did you use, the 3 listed on brp site say doesn’t work with this sled.
The trail seat bag works but squeezes the seat. You have to force it a bit. I would be worried about it rubbing a hole into the seat.

Does the link combo bag work? If so do you need to use the narrow or widebody bag?
Yup all g4 and g5 850 bag accessories work with the 900r in the G5. It will not work with the widebody bag. The narrow body bag is meant for all g5s now. Cheers, Jesse

Yup, likely the case. Cheers, Mike

Correct. My low was added as an accessory. Cheers, Jesse
Rattle can of chosen color always works good on inside of clear wind screen deflector / wind screen. 😅
@@Fossillarson Sure, if you don’t want to see through it.
@Upracefan if it's not a tall window. Then your not looking thru it.
Snow and ice will build up and your not gonna see thru low or mid
Kind of skis are you going to run on this one?
Factory ski's as shown in the video
Did you, or are you going to get your smart shocks reprogrammed by Accelerated Technologies?
Not yet but possibly..
@@sledaddicz did he give you a ballpark price for that when you interviewed him?
No
why don't ya run gps on the fancy gauge 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We do. But we also love our garmins as we can use them on all our sleds and take them back and forth. Cheers, Jesse
