6:47 Shikamaru playing Shogi with his dad has to be THE MOST underrated moment in Naruto. Not a lot of ppl talk about it. The "Let it out" scene still hits me in the feels to this day.
Yea. There aren't any good clips of that scene on RUclips. They're all either cropped short or cut out the pauses between the dialogue. A scene like that needs to breathe. I edited out the scene myself in it's entirety and uploaded to RUclips, but it got taken down due to copyright-stuff. But yes, it is the best scene. Every word, every movement, every silence. It's perfection. edit: I'm talking about the Japanese version. In the English version, Shikamaru sounds like a whiny little bitch.

hardest hitting moments for me were: -itachi crying before killing his parents -jiraya's final moments -itachi poking sasukes forehead before he dies -shikamaru crying over asuma's death -the first final valley fight -the final final valley fight
Naruto meeting Kushina hit me hard. Really anything family related with his parents or sasuke as his brother or sasuke with itachi gets me. But naruto meeting kushina i tear up, neaely balled my eyes out the first time i read and saw it 😅

My favourite arc of all naruto will always be chunin exam as it was the most hypest moment I had when I would watch it on adult swim while it was airing at that time.
I've watched a couple of reactions to the 20th anniversary video, and whenever people made it to the Jiraiya moment, they all cried/or said: .... i'm still not over it man T-T (or both). The Pain remains
I know its much to ask but I wished that Naruto's parents were alive in the canon, I don't care how much people say that we got Naruto as he is because he overcame those hardships, I still wanted them in his life 😭
@@sakinah06 ah yes, me too . . . but other than that, i guess im kinda tired of the power scaling? i enjoyed early naruto when fights were about wits and strategy, especially when shikamaru is involved. towards the end of shippuden everything seems just like a nuclear war focusing on mostly just power and brute force
oh yeah power scaling is definitely an issue in naruto ahha it’s like super apparent in boruto! now that i think about it ure right, i never realised how much more tactical stuff was in the early days!
