The kitten went to sleep immediatly after he got warm. Thank you for taking this little angel home. I have a little kitten I found standing beside the Interstate just looking around. I was afraid she would run from me too. She watched me approach then when I got 15 feet or so from the kitten I stopped and just stood there looking at the kitten and let her decide what she wanted to do. Then, she got up and ran to me--not walked--RAN. That was almost 3 years ago and she still rides with me. I have no idea how she got to where she was as it was miles and miles away from a house. She wasn't even the least afraid of being in a little carrier inside the truck. She has a forever home now and if I see a dozen more kittens, I will have a truck full of kittens. Lol. We are the assigned caretakers of this world. It is our responsibility to care for those who cannot care for themselves. We can NEVER walk by an animal in need. We have been given much and to whom much has been given much is required.

The amount of time between when it ran away from you and it came right to you while praying for love & warmth was like 10-seconds! No human with a shred of compassion could walk away from a crying kitten in the cold winter months leaving it alone to starve & shiver! You have a lot of kitty-care foster skills. ♡♡
I was surprised too! When he got spooked and ran away I thought to myself "well, he will not come out under this car" but like just seconds later he started to climb up to my leg. Cats never stop to amaze me. NEVER.

Actually yes! He always gets a little bit jealous at the beginning. Sometime hisses but never attacks. Then he becomes best buds with foster kittens. He is my little precious helper. I love him.
He looks just like my spotted mackerel tabby, who is named Leo. He is one of five rescue cats who live with us. We have found homes for four other cats. God bless you, and every other person who helps care for stray animals. Cats are precious.
That's exactly 25 years ago a small orange and white swirl shorthair kitten did on a bitter cold night, meow loudly, climb up me to the top of my head, and that was it!!!! Took him in, he lived until he was 16 years old before sadly he passed!!! I loved that cat deeply!!!!❤❤❤❤ Much respect to anyone who takes in a dog, puppy, cat or kitten in need like that!!!
