I love how she brings each kitten, then takes the time to calm them before going to fetch the other kitten. Animals are smarter than we think. And then she goes back one last time to check if she's missed any kittens. Ah. So smart.
I remember walking home at night and a cat just started following me all the way back home. I decided to give her water and some food that night. The next day she came back and had kittens crawling around the front door. She basically was asking me for help and Im happy I listened!
I like how she calms all of them and than goes for the other left babies. This is so cute to see how she takes her time to handle her kids emotions. This is something we all should watch and copy from her.

@@lightwave9588 it's probably a cat rescue where they take in and care for unwanted cats that would probably otherwise be "put down." My brother and his wife own such a rescue. They get the cats spayed or neutered when they're brought to their cat rescue.
@@lightwave9588 Some people take care of the stray cats that come to their home. I do. I have a few cats now but your judgment isn’t needed or required. Compassion for other living things is in short supply in this world. It should be applauded not judged by people who have little information. Every one of my rescues is loved and gets veterinary care. Do you have a specific number of cats that’s allowable? After that number is reached should I ignore the one’s that may come here?

I agree. That to me is one of the best signs of a good person. Most people I know wouldn't do it and wouldn't care. It truly is a wonderful kind of giving.
@Yooo Handsome if we were to be pedantic, this only applies to some species (K type species that produce relatively few offspring but put in high parental investment, for instance mammals). Fish and frogs, for one, are part of the R type species that don’t have any parental investment- a large quantity of offspring are produced that each have relatively low chances of survival, the idea being that if you make enough, at least a few will make it to reproductive age. So yes, many species do have that nurturing, but not all, and I would even say not most either. And then you have the ones in species that are supposed to be nurturing that don’t have that “instinct”…
Heartwarming how the mother cat retrieves her kittens one by one, spending time grooming each one before bringing the next one indoors. She's really dedicated to her kittens! 👍😺😸😸🐈🐈🐈
It’s funny how the second she gets all her kittens together, checks for any left behind, and then comes back, they are all suddenly hungrier than they have ever been.
One of the most beautiful things in the world is the love and care a mother cat has for her kittens. It’s amazing how natural motherhood comes to them.
💯 watching my cat mother her kittens, as well as watching neighborhood cats successfully mother one litter of kittens after another into independent cats, deeply healed my perception of motherhood. It made me hopeful again about becoming a mother, after having a very unhealthy relationship with my mum, which had made me shy away from the idea and bury my childhood dreams of one day becoming a mum. It is truly a beautiful thing to witness❤️💖.

Awww, she is a great mom. She wanted her babies to be safe & well cared for & took them where she knew that would happen. She made sure to comfort each kitty upon its arrival to its new home, before going out to fetch another sibling. She made certain that she didn’t leave any behind. This was precious. I can almost swear the cat said,"wait a minute!" then came back with another kitten, and was politely saying, "one more!" Them made sure she had all her babies! This was pure instinct and she showed that she wouldn't stop until her babies were safe. Just too precious..

We had a cat show up on our doorstep with two babies. Then she meowed until we came outside. Then she disappeared for 2 hours. When she returned, she waited for us to go back inside, then picked up her babies and carried them back to wherever her nest was. Darn kitty used us as a _babysitter._
She seems to be well liked amongst the other cats gathered, and a very loving mother. I’d like to imagine she’s very chatty and friendly, mothers everyone in the best way, and would never neglect her children.
I am always amazed at the love and care animals have for their off springs. After I befriended a reral cat for just a month, she return one day and dropped off her two kittens. I was surprised that she trusted me to take care of her kittens. Cats are great mothers but will detach from them after they are wean. In contrast, young elephants remain attached to their months for up to a decade and remain part of the herd for life. . I am always in awe of the disparity of animal instincts.
It's actually a big moment, the cat is behaving in this way because she trusts the environment is safe. The next stage is when she goes out to hunt and brings the kittens out and leaves them with you to look after, not goes out but brings the kittens to you and then goes out to reestablish her territory and to hunt. My old cat Minnie (short for minestrone, she was a half Siamese half wildcat with a bright tortoise shell coat) was raised to hunt so she had multiple litters before she was spayed (her kittens were very sought after locally). She lived into her twenties and died of old age in the 90s and I still miss her. She was a dominant cat, she was an intelligent cat and I still miss her.

This was precious. I can almost swear the cat said,"wait a minute!" then came back with another kitten, and was politely saying, "one more!" Them made sure she had all her babies! This was pure instinct and she showed that she wouldn't stop until her babies were safe. Just too precious..

We had a cat show up on our doorstep with two babies. Then she meowed until we came outside. Then she disappeared for 2 hours. When she returned, she waited for us to go back inside, then picked up her babies and carried them back to wherever her nest was.
Darn kitty used us as a _babysitter._
I'm taking this as a sign of animal intelligence.

I am always amazed at the love and care animals have for their off springs. After I befriended a reral cat for just a month, she return one day and dropped off her two kittens. I was surprised that she trusted me to take care of her kittens. Cats are great mothers but will detach from them after they are wean. In contrast, young elephants remain attached to their months for up to a decade and remain part of the herd for life. . I am always in awe of the disparity of animal instincts.
If only all HUMAN mothers were as loving!

It's actually a big moment, the cat is behaving in this way because she trusts the environment is safe. The next stage is when she goes out to hunt and brings the kittens out and leaves them with you to look after, not goes out but brings the kittens to you and then goes out to reestablish her territory and to hunt. My old cat Minnie (short for minestrone, she was a half Siamese half wildcat with a bright tortoise shell coat) was raised to hunt so she had multiple litters before she was spayed (her kittens were very sought after locally). She lived into her twenties and died of old age in the 90s and I still miss her. She was a dominant cat, she was an intelligent cat and I still miss her.
