The video was shot in late fall (exact date is 17th, October, 2021). That day the temperature outside suddenly went down to well below zero at night). My mom was sick in bed at that time and I had to visit my mom’s twice a day to take care of her. When I visited my mom early in the morning as usual and found the frozen kitten under the fence. I hadn’t seen her before, and I don’t know where she is from. Why camera? I didn’t have a camera with me at that time. I just shot with my phone to show the surprising moment to my daughter who loves cats. Why not milk? We didin’t have any milk prepared since my mom has stomach trouble when she drinks milk. Why hard food? Whenever I visited my mom’s, I put some hard food out for some field cats. We didn’t have any soft food for kitten. I just placed the kitten on the hard food to see her will to live. Why net vet? My mom lives in the countryside. And there were no pet hospitals near the place. After saving her, I visited a Vet. Why rough and tough. I thought it would better give a tough massage the frozen kitten for a better blood circulation. Keep the kitten Yes, she became a precious member of my family. We gladly accept only your kind mind. 아빠입니다. 많은 분들의 따뜻한 감동의 말씀과 격려 감사 드리고 성급히 악플 다시는 분들도 관심 가져 주셔서 감사 드립니다. 딸과 아빠가 아이디를 공유하면서 딸은 아빠가 보고 마음 상할까봐 아빠는 딸이 보고 마음 상할까봐 보는 보는 즉시 삭제하고 있으니 악플 다시는 분들은 괜히 감정 낭비와 손가락 수고하지 않으시길 바랍니다.. 아기고양이 영상을 찍게 된 계기를 말씀드리겠습니다. 시골에 계시는 저의 어머니가 오래전부터 당뇨병으로 고생하시다가 몇 년전 합병증으로 시력을 거의 잃으시고 거동이 불편하셔서 제가 시간 나는 대로 가서 돌봐드렸는데 동네에 돌아다니는 들고양이가 몇 마리 있어 가끔 사료를 주기 시작했습니다. 타지에서 직장을 다니는 딸이 냥이들 영상을 유튜브에 올려 놓으면 먼 훗날 아주 먼 훗날에 엄마 아빠 이 세상에 없을 때 엄마 아빠 목소리 듣고 싶으면 아무 때라도 들을 수 있을 수 있을 거라고 찍어 달라고 해서 찍기 시작했습니다. 얼어 있던 고양이를 발견 한 날도 아침 일찍 어머니 돌봐드리러 갔다가 우연히 마당 한 구석에서 발견했습니다. 며칠이 지난 새끼 고양이라면 포기를 했을텐데 그 전날 저녁에 갔을 때 없었던 아기 고양이라 얼은 지 오래되지 않았을 거라 생각을 하고 살려 보기로 생각했습니다. 처음부터 영상을 찍을 생각이였다면 발견하는 것 자체부터 찍었겠지만 거실로 들고와서 딸아이 보여줄 생각에 휴대폰으로 간혹 찍었습니다. 궁금하신 것 몇자 적습니다. 동물 병원 : 시골이라 동물 병원이 멀리 떨어져 있고 병원 문 열기 훨씬 전인 이른 아침이었기 때문에 병원 데려가는 것은 포기했습니다. 드라이기 : 혈관이 많이 굳어 있다면 갑자기 겉을 덥혀 주는 것 보다는 강하게 문질러 줘야 할 것 같았고 영상에는 없지만 따뜻한 물로 오랫동안 문질러 주면서 씻어 주었습니다. 사료: 사료를 먹으라고 준 것도 아니고 새끼 고양이 삶의 의지를 보려고 길냥이들 주던 사료에 올려놓아 보았습니다. 우유 : 어머니 체질에 우유는 설사를 하셔서 시골 집에 구입해 놓은 우유가 없었습니다. 입양 : 입양 하시고 싶은 분들도 있으신 것 같은데 고양이 영상을 찍은 후 한 달 후 어머니 건강이 나빠지셔서 요양시설에 모셨습니다. 어머니가 준 귀여운 선물이라 생각하고 제가 기를랍니다. 후원금 : 후원해 주신다는 분들도 계신데 애초에 금전을 목적으로 시작한 영상이 아니였기 때문에 말씀만으로도 감사히 생각하겠습니다. 그리고 이 영상은 2~3달 전에 찍었지만 타지에 근무하는 딸이 시간 날 때 가끔 편집하곤 했던지라 올리는 데 늦어졌습니다. 혹시 영상에 시간상 충돌이 있을지라도 이해하시고 보아주시면 감사하겠습니다.
Everyone saying he was too rough. Let’s just remember that when humans are given CPR we break ribs to revive them. When somethings life is at stake you don’t worry about being gentle. You revive them however you can even if it causes injury then worry about the injury later. Your top priority is revival.
As a retired Vet Tech, I can say he is doing exactly what he should be to bring kitty back to life. Been thru this w/puppies, when I was in foster/rescue. The 1st thing is getting them warm. The bath is OK, but we usually used a heating pad & thick towels/fuzzy blankets. The vigorous rubbing stimulates blood flow & switching back & forth from both sides, is almost a form of CPR. (Which also could've been done) Once they are responsive, you want to get some warm milk replacer in them ASAP, but not too much, too quickly. He did a really good thing for this poor kitty 😇❤️🐈⬛
I've been rescuing kittens/pups for almost 2 decades and the bath I definitely wouldn't have done but he did great ❤️ also pretty sure that baby was having a seizure in the beginning 🥺
@@DeviantCinnamonfur that entire beginning when the baby was stiff. If you watch very closely randomly the mouth moves. The baby was stiff because the muscles were tight not because of being frozen. I've come across it numerous times. Honestly if the kitten was actually that cold that it was frozen stiff like that there would have been no bringing the baby back because it would've been dead 💔
My best friend is an EMT, and they have a saying: "You're not dead until you're warm and dead." Turns out, it's pretty true. One year, a guy fell down a ravine drunk, and when they found him in the morning, his internal body temperature was 65F/22C, and he didn't have a detectable pulse. They flew him to the nearest major hospital in a helicopter, and zoom-called leading medical experts in hypothermia. Lots of effort and 24 hours later, he was walking around like nothing had happened at all.
@@Ren-xc1cb no I think warm and dead means that doctors made sure that they only pronounced the person dead until they bring someone up back to normal temperature or at least the body is considered warm for the normal room temperature. Since there is little room for a false no Detectable heartbeat errors at that temperature. .
@@Ren-xc1cb cold slows down dying process, think of it as of putting things in refrigerator so they won't rot + people with severe cases of hypothermia may look dead even though they're just unconscious, bc there's no clear heartbeat etc. also temperature of dead body usually = environment temperature, so if someone died in a hot desert, the body will be warmer than that of an alive person. so: a cold dead body may not actually be completely dead, it's hard to determine, and an actual dead body probably will not be _very_ cold, just colder that an alive person (maybe around 20° Celsius instead of 36,5°) (ofc if someone died of hypothermia, their body will be Very cold, but it's still hard to know if they're really dead or you can still save them) so if you find a cold body of a human or an animal, you should try warming it up before deciding whether they're dead or not (or, actually, call an ambulance asap)
This is beautiful. As an EMT there's a saying we use for frozen patients. Your not dead until you are warm and dead. Basically meaning there are patients that have been found almost completely frozen, when they are warmed up they seemingly come alive. The process of freezing causes the heart to beat so slowly that it is almost completely undetectable. The cold also prolongs the time it takes for cellular death to occur.
Prolongs, but, doesn't stop. A heart beating slowly isn't much good if the lungs aren't bringing in fresh oxygen. We have to consider length of time. If the kitten was out there long enough it could still be brought back, but, it will have suffered severe brain damage. There's not enough here to tell whether they got to him/her in time, unfortunately :(
For those of you worried about him being too rough just imagine it’s better being hurt than dead. Also I’ve had to do this many times from raising litters and never had one permanently injured but I have lost some.
I also brought one back from freezing and I didn't need to be anywhere near as rough with him. I appreciate the guys effort and the fact that the kitten was revived but he did not need to be that rough.
@TheDeckGunner Except "vigorous rubbing" is what was applied when a man in his 50s had stumbled while walking and got trapped in a bog during cold weather. The lower half of his body was in water until he was pulled out. The cops took off their coats, wrapped him in them and began rubbing quickly to generate heat while EMS was on the way. This was in Alaska, mind you. I think the show was Alaska State Troopers, but I could be wrong.
@@maddogskip4149 given the fact that it was that stiff in the first place it's good he was quite rough. Being rough helped get the bloud flowing and the kittens body to wake up and go what the heck?
I'm a retired trauma nurse, and, you did EXACTLY what you should do. Cold truly does slow the dying process!! Im in love with that adorable little fur ball!!! You are a genuinely good and kind person!!!
My ol man & I were lucky enough with the help of the Lord to be able to do this with a kitten who got separated from his mama & litter, I was so worried it may have been too late but thank God it was not.🙏🙏🙏 Now the kitten is a fully grown adult kitty living his best life, was adopted & is spoiled loved & the light of his humans life🙏🙏🙏
Isn't it dangerous to use something as hot as a heating pad on someone or someone with hypothermia though? I thought you were supposed to use lukewarm water if they're literally frozen, not warm
She must've woken up so confused but relieved she's alive. Imagine closing your eyes knowing it would be your last, but wake up on a soft blanket being resucitated.

@@richardhayling4339 some cats have different meows and my cat that is healthy and gets monthly checkups makes that sound sometimes and not to be rude i think you meant hypothermia cause frostbite is where a body part gets cold and starts to turn red blue purple etc and freezes off
Never heard a kitten sound like that. I almost thought it was an audio issue with the video. I hope its not because he was frozen. Poor guy. Really hope he gets to a vet to assess the damage. Even if he can't afford it do a gofund me. I would donate just to get him to a vet.

My mom's done this to some of our chicken babies a bit more carefully obv bc their so small it's kinda like cpr but kinda different intention I mean your rubbing on the lungs as well so

Most people would have assumed the kitten was dead or too far gone and probably would have walked away from it. The heart of this man to give his best effort with or without knowing the outcome is amazing. I wish people treated cats better. They're so often left stray. This made my day. I think it's safe to say that this man can make a cold heart, warm.
My kitty used to be a stray. ❤️ She was possibly feral and had several fear issues,, but now, she is a huge baby. Never shuts up and begs for everything I have and usually gets it too.😆 I feel blessed to have her. She showed up after I had to put to sleep my kitty who was old and very sick. She was dying slowly from kidney failure and diabetes and suffering so much. It was so hard to say goodbye.😢 I was so distraught and depressed. It was terrible. A couple days after, I went way out in the woods to mourn in peace. As I was sitting there, down on my knees bawling like a baby, this cat is suddenly there too and starts rubbing against me and standing up on her back feet to reach up, rubbing her head and face to mine, then licked my cheek.. 😍🤗 Then she followed me all the way home. And here we are, 7 years later. Sometimes I wonder if there really are supernatural forces at work and if she was sent to help me in my grief. It really helped, gave me someone to look after, care for and love again. ❤️ Thanks for listening to my little story! 🌹
He did exactly what a vet would do, he shook life back into the kitten while the kitten fought for life. He didn't give up helping the kitten, what a beautiful video!

I agree. He wanted to give it a fighting chance. Anyone who knew they could would do the same, I hope. The frostbite and permanent nerve/brain damage from cold and lack of oxygen to the brain...I'm afraid this poor little guy was probably put to sleep. Did the same thing to a baby chick that was not responding. My parents told me to throw it away but I kept it in both my palms to keep it warm and a few seconds later I hear chirping and really, I was proud for what I did. 😁

When we had pet rabbits, one of them had her babies in the freezing cold of a blizzard one year. My mom and I did this same thing to each of the frozen babies and they all came back. These are the videos RUclips needs to recommend, it’s informative and heartwarming
@@lostbunny8491 because they’re rabbits who had hides, and we didn’t know she was pregnant. Adult rabbits are just fine in cold weather, she just never pulled fur to make a nest so the babies were on hay. Didn’t think I’d be heckled by sharing an experience I had when I was 10. Chill

I just hope he doesn't have a long life of suffering. That must of been incredibly painful to warm back up and I wonder what kind of damage it caused the kitty after being so frozen. Not saying he should not of saved him. Just feel so bad for the little guy and really hope he goes to a vet soon. I don't see a point In saving him just to let him suffer is all. Even if you don't have the money, you can do a gofund me for litterly anything and I know many people would donate if they saw this video. Even alot of vets get donations for homeless cats or situations like these.

@@lc4life369 read the pinned comment and watch some of their other videos cuz they said they went to the vet immediately as they could and luckily the kitty ended up being totally fine (i'm surprised it wasn't even frostbitten.. but i have seen comments saying it was more stiff from tense muscles rather than frozen) and it's now living a healthy happy life in their family with their other cats :)

이거 진짜 맞아요... 저도 주택살때 갑자기 집 마당에 새끼 고양이가 덩그러니 죽어있었는데 동물 워낙 좋아해서 죽은 아이 묻어주는거 어렵지 않을거라 생각했는데.. 진짜 죽은 동물을 손으로 만진다는게 생각보다 더 소름돋고 무섭고 징그럽다고 느꼈어요ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 그래도 묻어주긴했는데 진짜 죽은 동물 만지는거 생각보다 힘들더라구요 ㅠㅠ흑
@@unknownstar9522 아니요 간이 큰게 아니라 아마 덤덤하다는게 맞을껄요 저도 공동묘지 근처 사는데 항상 그 근처만 가면 머리카락이 쭈뻣쭈뼛 서고 후덜덜 거려서 절대 근처 안갔는데 부모님 돌아가시고 선산이 시골이라 너무 멀면 보러가기 힘들다고 가족들이 의논끝에 가까이 공동 묘지에 임시로 모셔놨는데 그 이후로는 공동묘지 밤에 가도 그닥 안무섭더라고요 아버지가 지켜주시는거 같고 든든했어요 예전에는 귀신이 그렇게 무섭더니 이제는 밤에 한적한데서 사람 만나는게 더 무섭던데요 ㅎㅎ 마음먹기 나름인거 같아요
This actually doesn’t surprise me as the body’s functions and metabolism can shut right down and people can be brought back to life after being frozen. Several years ago we had a miraculous survival story about a 2 year old girl that wandered out into the backyard in the middle of the night in the middle of the winter and froze -her parents found her in the morning and called 911 and she lived. I am an Emergency Room Nurse and we have a saying that you aren’t declared dead until your “warm and dead” - so if someone is frozen or severely hypothermic - they have to be warmed to a normal temperature and resuscitated - and sometimes they still have a chance. I am in awe that this man tried and knew to warm this little one so carefully. He did absolutely everything right!! What an amazing man to take the time for a little kitten that appeared to be dead. He didn’t give up! 💜💜💜
Smaller animals have better chance of survival in cold. There is a video of an old guy talking about how he was part of a project where they wanted to test viability of freezing and unfreezing animals. They tried on hamsters and froze them rock solid. Then made what is essentially a microwave and thawed them out. Had decent success rate, but would not work on scale of an adult person.

Everyone saying he was too rough. Let’s just remember that when humans are given CPR we break ribs to revive them. When somethings life is at stake you don’t worry about being gentle. You revive them however you can even if it causes injury then worry about the injury later. Your top priority is revival.

As a retired Vet Tech, I can say he is doing exactly what he should be to bring kitty back to life. Been thru this w/puppies, when I was in foster/rescue. The 1st thing is getting them warm. The bath is OK, but we usually used a heating pad & thick towels/fuzzy blankets. The vigorous rubbing stimulates blood flow & switching back & forth from both sides, is almost a form of CPR. (Which also could've been done) Once they are responsive, you want to get some warm milk replacer in them ASAP, but not too much, too quickly. He did a really good thing for this poor kitty 😇❤️🐈⬛
I've been rescuing kittens/pups for almost 2 decades and the bath I definitely wouldn't have done but he did great ❤️ also pretty sure that baby was having a seizure in the beginning 🥺

CPR couldn’t have been done? It has to be DEAD to do CPR. Meaning NO heart beat nor breaths. It was close to death but not dead? Or am I wrong?
@@DeviantCinnamonfur that entire beginning when the baby was stiff. If you watch very closely randomly the mouth moves. The baby was stiff because the muscles were tight not because of being frozen. I've come across it numerous times. Honestly if the kitten was actually that cold that it was frozen stiff like that there would have been no bringing the baby back because it would've been dead 💔

My best friend is an EMT, and they have a saying: "You're not dead until you're warm and dead."
Turns out, it's pretty true. One year, a guy fell down a ravine drunk, and when they found him in the morning, his internal body temperature was 65F/22C, and he didn't have a detectable pulse.
They flew him to the nearest major hospital in a helicopter, and zoom-called leading medical experts in hypothermia.
Lots of effort and 24 hours later, he was walking around like nothing had happened at all.

@@Ren-xc1cb no I think warm and dead means that doctors made sure that they only pronounced the person dead until they bring someone up back to normal temperature or at least the body is considered warm for the normal room temperature.
Since there is little room for a false no Detectable heartbeat errors at that temperature. .
@@Ren-xc1cb cold slows down dying process, think of it as of putting things in refrigerator so they won't rot + people with severe cases of hypothermia may look dead even though they're just unconscious, bc there's no clear heartbeat etc.
also temperature of dead body usually = environment temperature, so if someone died in a hot desert, the body will be warmer than that of an alive person.
so: a cold dead body may not actually be completely dead, it's hard to determine, and an actual dead body probably will not be _very_ cold, just colder that an alive person (maybe around 20° Celsius instead of 36,5°) (ofc if someone died of hypothermia, their body will be Very cold, but it's still hard to know if they're really dead or you can still save them)
so if you find a cold body of a human or an animal, you should try warming it up before deciding whether they're dead or not (or, actually, call an ambulance asap)

This is beautiful. As an EMT there's a saying we use for frozen patients. Your not dead until you are warm and dead. Basically meaning there are patients that have been found almost completely frozen, when they are warmed up they seemingly come alive. The process of freezing causes the heart to beat so slowly that it is almost completely undetectable. The cold also prolongs the time it takes for cellular death to occur.

Prolongs, but, doesn't stop. A heart beating slowly isn't much good if the lungs aren't bringing in fresh oxygen. We have to consider length of time. If the kitten was out there long enough it could still be brought back, but, it will have suffered severe brain damage. There's not enough here to tell whether they got to him/her in time, unfortunately :(

For those of you worried about him being too rough just imagine it’s better being hurt than dead. Also I’ve had to do this many times from raising litters and never had one permanently injured but I have lost some.
I also brought one back from freezing and I didn't need to be anywhere near as rough with him. I appreciate the guys effort and the fact that the kitten was revived but he did not need to be that rough.

Except "vigorous rubbing" is what was applied when a man in his 50s had stumbled while walking and got trapped in a bog during cold weather. The lower half of his body was in water until he was pulled out. The cops took off their coats, wrapped him in them and began rubbing quickly to generate heat while EMS was on the way. This was in Alaska, mind you. I think the show was Alaska State Troopers, but I could be wrong.

Isn't it dangerous to use something as hot as a heating pad on someone or someone with hypothermia though? I thought you were supposed to use lukewarm water if they're literally frozen, not warm

다시봐도 대단하네요.어미잃은 어린 길냥이 얼어죽을까봐 스티로폴 박스를 줬는데 3일고민 끝에 키우기로 작정하고 일단 동물병원에 데려가서 모든 치료 끝내고 건강해 졌는데 너무 귀엽고 애교도 많아서 행복해 졌어요. ㅎ
Most people would have assumed the kitten was dead or too far gone and probably would have walked away from it. The heart of this man to give his best effort with or without knowing the outcome is amazing. I wish people treated cats better. They're so often left stray. This made my day. I think it's safe to say that this man can make a cold heart, warm.

My kitty used to be a stray. ❤️ She was possibly feral and had several fear issues,, but now, she is a huge baby. Never shuts up and begs for everything I have and usually gets it too.😆 I feel blessed to have her. She showed up after I had to put to sleep my kitty who was old and very sick. She was dying slowly from kidney failure and diabetes and suffering so much. It was so hard to say goodbye.😢 I was so distraught and depressed. It was terrible. A couple days after, I went way out in the woods to mourn in peace. As I was sitting there, down on my knees bawling like a baby, this cat is suddenly there too and starts rubbing against me and standing up on her back feet to reach up, rubbing her head and face to mine, then licked my cheek.. 😍🤗
Then she followed me all the way home. And here we are, 7 years later. Sometimes I wonder if there really are supernatural forces at work and if she was sent to help me in my grief. It really helped, gave me someone to look after, care for and love again. ❤️

When we had pet rabbits, one of them had her babies in the freezing cold of a blizzard one year. My mom and I did this same thing to each of the frozen babies and they all came back. These are the videos RUclips needs to recommend, it’s informative and heartwarming
@@lostbunny8491 because they’re rabbits who had hides, and we didn’t know she was pregnant. Adult rabbits are just fine in cold weather, she just never pulled fur to make a nest so the babies were on hay. Didn’t think I’d be heckled by sharing an experience I had when I was 10. Chill

천운을 타고난 걸까요? 몸이 저렇게 얼 때까지 저 고양이는 얼마나 많이 춥고 아프고 힘들었을까요. 깨어난 이후로도 다리도 많이 절고 걷는 것도 힘들어하는데 저 고양이는 정말 다시 눈을 떠서 그 고통을 겪기를 원했을까요. 그냥 제 상황과 겹쳐 보여서 혼자 의문이 들어서 한 말입니다.

저렇게 얼어있으면 보통 떠나고 나서 몸이 굳은거라고 생각할텐데 끝까지 녹이려고 하시는 모습이 정말로 대단하신것 같아요

I just hope he doesn't have a long life of suffering. That must of been incredibly painful to warm back up and I wonder what kind of damage it caused the kitty after being so frozen. Not saying he should not of saved him. Just feel so bad for the little guy and really hope he goes to a vet soon. I don't see a point In saving him just to let him suffer is all. Even if you don't have the money, you can do a gofund me for litterly anything and I know many people would donate if they saw this video. Even alot of vets get donations for homeless cats or situations like these.

@@lc4life369 read the pinned comment and watch some of their other videos cuz they said they went to the vet immediately as they could and luckily the kitty ended up being totally fine (i'm surprised it wasn't even frostbitten.. but i have seen comments saying it was more stiff from tense muscles rather than frozen) and it's now living a healthy happy life in their family with their other cats :)

완전히 언 빨래 같던 아이가 슬슬 몸이 녹으면서 생명이 돌아오는 게 느껴지네요.
이거 진짜 맞아요... 저도 주택살때 갑자기 집 마당에 새끼 고양이가 덩그러니 죽어있었는데 동물 워낙 좋아해서 죽은 아이 묻어주는거 어렵지 않을거라 생각했는데.. 진짜 죽은 동물을 손으로 만진다는게 생각보다 더 소름돋고 무섭고 징그럽다고 느꼈어요ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 그래도 묻어주긴했는데 진짜 죽은 동물 만지는거 생각보다 힘들더라구요 ㅠㅠ흑

@@unknownstar9522 아니요 간이 큰게 아니라 아마 덤덤하다는게 맞을껄요 저도 공동묘지 근처 사는데 항상 그 근처만 가면 머리카락이 쭈뻣쭈뼛 서고 후덜덜 거려서 절대 근처 안갔는데 부모님 돌아가시고 선산이 시골이라 너무 멀면 보러가기 힘들다고 가족들이 의논끝에 가까이 공동 묘지에 임시로 모셔놨는데 그 이후로는 공동묘지 밤에 가도 그닥 안무섭더라고요 아버지가 지켜주시는거 같고 든든했어요 예전에는 귀신이 그렇게 무섭더니 이제는 밤에 한적한데서 사람 만나는게 더 무섭던데요 ㅎㅎ 마음먹기 나름인거 같아요

This actually doesn’t surprise me as the body’s functions and metabolism can shut right down and people can be brought back to life after being frozen. Several years ago we had a miraculous survival story about a 2 year old girl that wandered out into the backyard in the middle of the night in the middle of the winter and froze -her parents found her in the morning and called 911 and she lived. I am an Emergency Room Nurse and we have a saying that you aren’t declared dead until your “warm and dead” - so if someone is frozen or severely hypothermic - they have to be warmed to a normal temperature and resuscitated - and sometimes they still have a chance. I am in awe that this man tried and knew to warm this little one so carefully. He did absolutely everything right!! What an amazing man to take the time for a little kitten that appeared to be dead. He didn’t give up! 💜💜💜

Smaller animals have better chance of survival in cold. There is a video of an old guy talking about how he was part of a project where they wanted to test viability of freezing and unfreezing animals. They tried on hamsters and froze them rock solid. Then made what is essentially a microwave and thawed them out. Had decent success rate, but would not work on scale of an adult person.
