We heard this little kitten meowing while we were at the balcony so we went down to see what's going on. The baby was out there alone.

We are Stoyan and Dessy from Bulgaria. We are not organization, neither a shelter, we are just an ordinary couple with a big dream. Everything we provide for the stray cats is coming from our own pockets or with the help of donations from our subscribers. We have 4 cats at home, all rescued from the streets - Sopolcho & Bagheera live with us while Alexa & Rijo live with Dessy's mom, who has been feeding and caring of stray animals for the last 10 years. Bulgaria is a small and poor country with lots of stray cats and not enough kind people to take them in. Our dream is to build a shelter where we could take care of many stray cats with the help of Dessy's mom. What do you feed a kitten that old?
@@atlbackin82fool Hi Denny....its optimal for kittens to have mothers milk or replacement milk until they are at least 3 months old...At 3 months, it's good to offer a shallow sauce of moms milk or replacement milk and their instincts will kick in to lap it up...As far as wet food, at 3 months introduce "pate" texture wet food, about 2 tablespoons and they learn to nibble it....Kittens learn social skills and kitty respect from their mother and older cats...NEVER give them "filets", "chunks" or large pieces of wet food....Their teeth are still growing, so soft, mushy pate texture of wet food is best, and ALWAYS have a bowl of fresh water available for cats over 8 weeks, because they will drink small amounts in addition to milk and pate wet food..
Cats are water conservationists, they don't need as much as a canine, but both cats and dogs are obligate carnivores, meaning MEAT is the best source of protein and minerals that they need...Hope this helps!

Updated : My sisters and I helped a kitten in a box. It was helpless and it almost die without a mother to feed it. The owner originally dropped the kittens separately (I’m not aware with the full context), almost giving up on her, to my surprise, it survive! Would stay up at night just to keep her warm and fed too. (It’s useful to be a night owl sometimes) She is now healthy!
The name is KheeSan, named after the box she lived in. (It has been over 3 months since we got it)
Updated 2022 : she finally reach the age of 1 year old!! The cat has grown up to be so much healthy!! She loves to bite our foot for some reason and it annoys us so much-
Updates : I saved a bird from my cat. Idk why she have some personal issues with other animals. Dead animals are everywhere and it’s breaking my heart but it’s animals like cat behavior afterall, i can’t blame her..
Updated : **(Warning : can be disturbing)** I saved a baby mice that’s like 3 days old… My cat ate the entire family and just puke it all out on my carpet (whyyy) and I keep it for like 4 days, I got really attached to it.. My heart would drop everytime I left it alone because my cat actually tried to eat it when I was heating the milk. I would bring it to a marriage celebration in my bag (that’s like the most tiring day ever since I have to go in a bathroom and feed it while I can)
but when I fell asleep, *my cat just ate it.* If I say I didn’t cry for a solid 1 minute, I would be lying..

A cute kitten saved by a kind person♪
I found a kitten in the park. He was all alone under the sun. We waited for his mom to come, but she wasn’t anywhere. His eyes were open and deep blue, he was covered in mud and full of ants. He looked at us sad, and he looked like dying. We immediately took him home, bathed him, fed him and took him to the vet. He is my little baby, my little sun ray. He’s literally the only reason I wake up every morning. I still can’t believe I got to keep him, even though my mom is very alergic to cats.
I found my lil fur baby in the snow just 3weeks old. We had an awesome 15 years R.I.P. my bestie😇

This is one of the reasons why I'm dreaming of becoming rich. I would like to build a shelter for animals who are being abused or left out. I couldn't help them if I myself couldn't by food for myself on a daily basis. I hope if other people couldn't feed them, then they shouldn't hurt them.

Try to help the people first. There are kids living in their own personal hells everywhere you look and being abused. Help them first and then the kittens, so then you have more people who have enough energy to be kind at all tl be kind to them.

I rescued a kitten when I was a child, he had fallen into a well. I named him Bacardi (didn’t know it was alcohol at the time, just liked the sound of it). He lived till he was 16 years old and passed away in his sleep.

@Olivia Putri At least he had sixteen years of care and love. I adopted my beloved Spikey at 8 months of age. He lived to age 19, with me for 18 years. I adored him and cared for him during his last year of life. How diminished our lives would have been if I hadn't adopted him. So I went to the animal shelter and found Mystie, who I hope will be with me for many years as well. A beautiful, playful, happy kitty who has already left her mark on our hearts.

I remember a year ago when I was visiting a village.
A cat had like 15 babies.
And all of them were malnourished.
The cat didn't care about about her babies,
Nor did half the villagers.
Only some gave the kittens food scraps
So, I bought 100 dollars worth of cat food.
And dumped it in a corner. And by the time I returned to visit the cats were okay and they ate all the food within a year.
I would have taken them home but, They were too scared and hated humans.

@@lynettepalecek3141 not much a vet can add right away warm them up get them feeding then to the vets, as they can't keep their temperature and need food every few hours that more urgent. If you haven't got kitten formula then yes straight to the vet once warmed up, so many of these neonatal kittens end up with neumonia.

Next month it will be 1 year since my cat died. She was almost 13 and she died due to a cancer. Spend all the time you can while you have your cat, you will miss him/ her forever :( I will never get over it. All that's left is to remember the happy moments and be happy you gave them a happy life 🖤 I send you positive vibes, be strong and don't show them you're sad, they can feel it :(

i can, to an extent. sometimes shelters refuse animals or demand a fee which some people just aren’t able to pay, and when people give up their pets it’s often in desperate circumstances which, in turn, limit their options.
personally i would be terrified to leave my pet at a shelter in the united states out of fear they would be euthanised, although the likelihood of this is thankfully decreasing.
if people just spayed and neutered like they’re supposed to, overpopulation would cease along with unnecessary euthanasia, and there would be less pressure on shelters and those who need them.
remember, while some who abandon their pets are indeed shitty people, many are just desperate.
Seeing a helpless kitten on the streets is so heartbreaking. I found one about 10 years ago and she's been with me ever since. I haven't seen any more kittens but I would definitely help them.

Found 2 small kittens near a dumspter area, just waiting to die... Both the kittens are siblings and they always stay close to each other.... Took them in, gave them food and water, brought them to the vet and care for them every single day....unfortunately one of them did not made it but the other one was very grateful that it stayed loyal for 15 years with me ❤️ everyday I would wake up seeing him on my bed.... Never once he failed to greet me at the door when I came back home from work... And never in his life did he scratch nor bit me.... He is my definition of Happiness ❤️ I guess this is his way of saying thanks for saving his life ❤️

p/s: In my experience, cats are not as brave as dog, their body structure is for escape, not fight with larger animal. If their owners get attacked, cat may fight but if it's took heavy hit such as a kick or throw into wall, they'll run or growl from safe distance without attack; dog is different, most of them will fight to death to make sure their family member (their owner) safe.

😂 i rescued all my cats from the street (i now have 11) and my current cats always get mad at the new rescues. I just turn to them and say "don't act like you didn't come off the street the same way!"
There is a stray cat in front of our house we always fed her. And she gave birth to kitten in front of our door and the next day she disappeared , so we took the kitten to the vet a few times and fed him milk. He died when she was 3 days old and we buried him. But the next day the cat came and keeps meowing at our door for her kitten and she still does. We tried everything to save him 😔

I found my Pudding in a busy road. They were 2 kittens at that time and I have a feeling that they were the kittens to the mama cat that I've been feeding. I decided to pick them up and waited for the mama cat to come to my house and pick them up. She really did came and just pick one of them and my Pudding was left behind. Three months later now my Pudding is so fat and and lively hahaha.

My friend found an abandoned kitten under a car. It was the runt and mom abandoned it. Friend nursed it back to health and that’s the most spoiled rotten cat in the universe.

It's heartbreaking to see the kitten just laying there waiting, trying to conserve its energy, hoping for someone to help it.
Notice how it was completely silent, until that lady decided to pick it up. It started meowing instantly as if it's saying "Oh! Finally someone to save me!"
It's even worse that no one would help it, except you guys.

Fun story: I was folding some clothes in my room then all of a sudden I hear a soft kitten cry, at first I just shrugged it off as I thought that it was my imagination or my neighbor's cat but I can still hear it even tho the cry was soft like a whisper so I started to look around my room then I found a newborn kitten in a box of my old clothes. it looks so helpless and alone but I didn't touch it and just left it in case the mother might come back so I do my business and wait. then later at night I hear rustling noises so I got up and went to check the kitten then I found the mother with her kitten it was a stray cat that I've been feeding lately so I just let them be and go back to sleep in the morning I woke up then check the mother and her kitten they are still here and they basically live in my room now

My niece found a kitten inside of a dumpster and I asked her to bring it to me. The poor thing was badly flea-infested, Took her in, gave her several flea baths, and she recovered well. Punkin was a joy for 16 years. Rest easy. little bundle of orange fluff. You are sorely missed.
