I've got soundcore life Q20 plus & Q35 I just use the soundcore app to EQ my headphones, also since Q35 has ldac that adds more depth to my sound (music streaming and video streaming experience overall) I'm enjoying them both now (even though Q20 plus has SBC 😁) I tend to use RUclips music & Spotify premium as my go to for music overall tho 👀😶, yep I listened to what you said about Spotify quality and yep I've noticed an improvement in sound quality 😁

I'm paying for premium individual plan, but I use it with my ps3 through an analog amplifier ans a top notch vintage speakers but the app doesn't let me change anything about thw sound with playstation. I guess i'm getting 256 kbps. One spotify assistant told me that i need a computer to get the 320 kbps. Anyway i'm amazed about the sound i'm getting. The only problem is that it seems the volume normalizer is activated by default, so some music is scary loud and appears distortion if i turn the volume up. I gotta take good care of my speakers. I realize the better headphones you use the more you can notice the compression of Spotify. I wish we have Tidal in the country. Tidal offers lossless/FLAC, Spotify only offers MP3 quality.

I use a LG V50 with Spotify and it sounds great. The Quad DAC and all its onboard settings works a charm with the service too.

True, still compressed even on max setting. For max audiophile gear still best to use lossless.
