Thank you so much for this! I have my English Lit/Lang A-Level this afternoon, and I've been scouring the internet for any useful videos on context for a last minute boost. You definitely have the best videos out there, and I remembered them from my GCSE English! Thank you so much for all your help over the last 4 years, you really did make a difference and helped me gain the grades : )
Worth mentioning the various quotes of S.T. Coleridge’s THE ANCIENT MARINER in the novel, which had been recited in Mary Shelley’s home by Coleridge when she was a child. The needless killing of the Albatross in the poem brings about a catastrophe in the natural order which plagues the narrator. Message? Mess with Nature, and Nature’s going to wreak her revenge...
can you make an updated grade 9 analysis on Frankenstein, for example character analysis, theme analysis and structure/setting/genre analysis please I know its on your playlist but it doesn't cover some of this stuff.
very imformative thank you very much, i have my a level tomorrow! this helped me. I would also like ot add that in the a level course they have incorporated the novel 'Never Let Me Go by Ishiguro' so you might want to relate it to that :)
Just purchased your eBook. Love your approach. I am so curious to explore the connections between Frankenstein and the movie Blade Runner. Maybe someday you can share your thoughts on this question.
Can you please explain where is the 'last video' as you say in this video that "as I mentioned in the last video". Where is that video? Please reply. Sorry for bothering.
That's not the first video. That video was made on the 1st January 2015, this video was made on 26th October 2014, the first video is 'Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein': Author Biography', made on 25th October 2014.

Shelley’s source for scientific experiments with electricity was derived from the original text of fantasmagoriana.

Good! I made it for GCSE but I’m glad it helped.
Why did Shelley choose for the monster to read 'Milton and Goethe'?
This is a phenomenal video, thank you.
Have you analysed Lord of The Flies? If not, if possible, I would really appreciate it if you could do it as soon as possible. Thanks

Hi man lol
Are the A Level text books a specific exam board or general?
I loved this video, so interesting and in depth analysis- I was wondering how you spell dippel? And what his first name was?
Emilia - Fox Lavis it always frustrates me too... hearing something obviously isn't the same as spelling it! Johann Conrad Dippel is his name.
END VT thank you!
