    The cost of wooden house is cheaper. For a 5000 sq.ft house in US suburbs would cost 1.5 crores . The same cost in India for a 5000 sq.ft house in a city will cost about 5 crores. The price in India is debatable based on city and location. But the cost of a wooden house is much cheaper in USA, and also it doesn’t last long. If heating is a concern you can install energy saving heaters like the ones used in Europe.

      @@donnixofficial6306it depends on cities meanwhile .in 1.5 crores in cities like Bangalore or Pune you will get only 4 bhk basic house of less than 2000 sqft
      In usa you will get 5000aqft house in 500k us dollars in dallas ie metro city . Also the houses of usa are well designed and systematic
      Houses are costly in India

      Bro the cost of construction doesn't include the land price ! And as for India 5000sqfeet with a budget of 1.5cr will give you a much nicer and stable house 😂

    Hi Rajat, Congratulations oh your new home 🤝 I'm sure it'll be beautiful - can't wait to see when it's ready! 😃 I've been in the U.S. for 25 years, mostly on the east coast. What I can say from experience is that wood provides much better insulation from heat and cold, than concrete. And, that's why most homes, especially in the states with cold weather, are made of wood.
    Your videos are enjoyable. Keep up the good work and....keep them coming! 😃

  • @polaris1985
    @polaris1985 Месяц назад

    Simple reason is they have more space in terms of land area and wood is cheaper(these woods are grown and cut in designated regions, happens in India too) and wood helps in heating/insulation in winters.
    They started building wooden homes since 1500's and America was all jungle in the start and so open from the start.
    In India suburban areas are too densely populated to build so open area houses with front and back lawns and side gaps. We are over populated.

    Main reason is climate, it keeps their surroundings cool because concrete heats faster then the woods, wooden houses are nature friendly...concrete houses are main reason for climate change..indians are majorly depend on concrete based houses and because of that India's climate is changing contineously...our land is heating day by day

    Cost of wood is cheap and its easier to build
    Also wood is fairly strong and can take multiple times its weight as long as your structure is good you're good.

    • @jon6309
      @jon6309 Год назад +6

      Cheaper is not necessarily better. In the long run wood homes have a lot more risks. Wooden homes burn down quickly and easily in comparison to Stucco and bricks. Not to mention additional risks of termite infestations and wood rot. The additional risks mentioned have preventable maintenance but over the long run the cost add up. The reason why the USA 🇺🇸 uses wood is the abundant supply that’s available which settlers have been using since the colonial period. I would say the USA is a country of consumption and since we do not embrace the culture of multi generational living like most countries outside of the West, there is no point in building homes that will last for hundreds of years when the next generation will just move out and supposedly buy their own place to use.

    The vlog provided valuable information, suggesting that houses in certain areas, like wood over concrete, may be preferred due to climate considerations. One potential factor for this preference could be a focus on cost-efficiency in American construction, leading to the use of wood in various housing projects. Notably, this choice may extend to luxury homes, where even some high-end residences are constructed using less expensive wood materials.

    The way i look at it, trees are the best qay to so carbon capture. And if sourced sustainably, homes made of woods are the best way to promote carbon capture. That way each person can contribute to reversal of climate change. But it has to be termite proof for sure.
