As a casual pokemon player who is familiar with speed runs in games in general but never saw a poke speed run … how perfectly refined this is really impressed me a lot. This took countless hours and thousands of failed runs as well as the shared information from the community over years to get this 2 hour video.

At the 1 hour 7 minute mark, he brutally shredded that guy for asking a simple question. My advice in the future is just say you've never thought about it or it doesn't really concern you. That was completely rude

I'm really confused about the whole Viridian Forest thing. If you go right before the Weedle there is a realistic chance of 2 encounters. By going up you only ever get 1 encounter.
You need to take damage from Onix to activate Squirtle's ability Torrent, which increases the damage of water type moves by 50%. You need Torrent for Route 3. It saves a lot of time.
