That Carrie Steelbook is pure fire man 👍 it looks fantastic. Weird thing is I really love Wes Craven he’s really the guy that kicked off my love of horror but I’ve never really enjoyed the people under the stairs. I’ve only seen it a couple of times but I just remember I couldn’t really get into it the second time either. I probably should attempt to watch it again sometime.
Great pickups Rich. I wanted the Carrie Steelbook but it want on sale by itself. But I did buy Halloween 3,4,5 and the Halloween box set with 6,H20, and Resurrection. Great sale. The 4k’s were $18 and the box $60.

I have a package with OCN titles from Vinegar Syndrome to pick up at the post office, which includes irreversible, The Tale of Tsar Saltan & Trouble Every Day. Plus, another package from Cauldron Films is on its way with City of the Living Dead & Frankenstein 80.
And now the halfway to black Friday sale is coming this weekend at vinegar syndrome. Starts on the same day I get my paycheck no less. Interesting how that works out lol. Looks like it's time to pick up that TCM 2 4K finally

I got Touch of Evil from Kino Lorber because it’s getting harder to find especially at a decent price. 3 cuts of the film all in 4K UHD! I also got the recently released The Man Who Fell to Earth 4K Best Buy exclusive. Appears to be the same as the studio canal 4K and half the price. I also got the new Planet of the Apes trilogy. I love those movies.
Those are some great ones! I've noticed that about Touch Of Evil too. I keep waiting for it to be in one of the Kino sales but it hasn't. I should try and get it soon. I'd hate for it to go out of print and then pay Ebay prices.

It is crazy how many sale have been going on. I am skipping a few of them just because it's all adding up fast. There have been a lot of releases of Carrie. Between the MGM releases and now the Scream Factory releases there are a lot to choose from.
No worries that you don't have the original People Under The Stairs poster. The one you've got plus the 4K cover art looks pretty scary with that skull on it! People Under The Stairs I still need to see! It's from 1991, so I've overlooked it for too long! I'm more into the 1980s and before horror and b movies!
Thank you Tim! I think you might like it. It's much more of a dark comedy which is what makes it work. It's an easy one to overlook as it sometimes gets lost in the Wes Craven filmography as well. It was the third film in his contract with Universal if I remember correctly. The Serpent And The Rainbow, Shocker, and The People Under The Stairs. I think after this is when he went back to New Line and did New Nightmare.
@@RichardDiaz Serpent and The Rainbow I saw bits of a tv print on AMC TV years back after they went from being like TCM and became a basic cable channel.
