Pain's fight Is just Amazing. The best one of the anime. Nagato Is not an Uchiha, he does not have the complete connection with Rinnegan. But despite that he reach an incredible level of Power, he reach the six paths, he Is just something else. Nagato Uzumaki, one of the greatest character of the anime and this fight Is just quality.

ah, the good old naruto days, when Chibaku Tensei looked like the most powerful ability in the entire naruto universe, and to actually cast it, the user had to sacrifice some amount of his own life force... it felt like Nagato allmost died trying to cast it.
He would've been able to cast it easily if he did not use most of his chakra for the large scale Shinra Tensei that destroyed konoha. That jutsu drained most of his chakra. To think that he was still able to cast it at this stage shows that he's in a league of his own.

His image is mysterious, gloomy; his movements are relaxed, but at the same time sharp and threatening. Madara was just a boss, an ordinary capricious villain. Accordingly, at a time when there were no battles on the scale of gods and titans, abilities of Pain were really amazing. It wasn't difficult for Madara to make a bunch of chibaku tensei at a time - it's boring when it's simple. Nagato's Chibaku Tensei - feels really like a creation of God, we see how hard this need is given to him, so we feel its scale, and besides, it is accompanied by a great musical accompaniment.

@@christopherhamilton4373 if you quantitize it, sure, madara is more impressive, but he does it so effortlessly, which kinda taking off the suspense, sure he is strong and all but when he use the technique it just happened, no build up, no process from a to b, he just does it. when nagato did it, you can feel the weight of the technique, it's basically a blackhole and total control of gravity, which is shown by how difficult nagato need to focus and how much strength he need to muster just to complete the technique. you can say that the face looks goofy, but just look at any athletes or weightlifter during their competitions, they had to muster all of their energy and focus on the task that some of them even forgot that they make funny faces when they in total focus.
For me, this is by far the best moment in the entire series. It shows the power of a true god brought into earth, breaking the power scale at the perfect time for everybody watching to understand that there will be no chance to win that is not given by Nagato himself, as it ends up happening, since allowing the Nine Tails to erupt is what set his defeat. It took an evil god to defeat another, plus his own arrogance, his only and very last weakness. Pain didn't lose; obviously, he was a god. But Nagato wasn't. He was a human, a broken one, and no amount of power can free a man from that one burden, not even the one able to raise a moon. What a great arc this could've been, if Kishimoto hadn't ruined it with that stupid ending.
But it is a great arc, and the ending only enhances it. If you have any problem with the 'talk no jutsu,' then this work was never for you from the start.

Esque vous pensez que pain aurait pu lutter plus longtemps si minato ne serait pas intervenu pour stopper la transformation de naruto ?
Naruto aurait été sans doute mort puisque Kyubi était prêt à être libéré, donc j'pense qu'il y aurait eu invocation de gedo mazo pour sceller Kyubi et donc victoire de Pain
Pain avait déjà détruit un village entier combattu Naruto et ses invocations on voit bien que Nagato a perdu énormément de chakra. Dans ce cas là il lui reste même plus assez de chakra pour gérer Naruto alors Kyuubi laisse tomber. Mais si ça aurait un pain pleine puissance il aurait capturé kyuubi oui
Mdr faut revoir le combat, il avait bel et bien l'intention de vouloir agrandi le chibaku tensei
