This seems the most likely, the Entity basically taking away Henry's last hoorah is evil enough to be deemed an Entity thing to do and give William his due vengeance
Honestly I'd feel he'd get taken when he's being tortured in UCN. It makes sense. The Entity would rescue Afton from the Torture and free him from Cassidy's grasp.
Assuming that the dbd lore will be canon to the rest of the fnaf lore, being taken from his torment in ucn would be the most fitting but if it didnt have to be canon to the fnaf timeline it would be super cool if it was after mci as it would be the og spring bonnie suit which we havent really seen in great detail. Or even being lured by the entity using children and having a unique relationship with the entity rather than just accepting being taken and being another loyal servant of the entity.

The ucn theory Afton has another night to survive but this one is different, he hears a bell from the hall, he sees glowing orange fluid oozing from the vents, and some fat clown peeking around the corner
I have to guess it was when he was being tortured by the vengeful spirit, while he was begging for help. And the Entity granted him succor, for better or worse.
That would make sense, but unlike the theory proposed in the video, i imagine that afton would ultimately end up resenting the entity and would inevitably plan an escape

The most likely timeline of when he was taken has to be UCN. It gives him a reason to be loyal and happy with the oath with the Entity. I really think the survivor with this chapter should be Charlie. She would be mad that the Entity took him away from her. This would give the Entity what it wants which is strong emotions!

Plot twist. In Five nights at Freddy’s ultimate custom night, I’d theorize that the entity was conditioning him for an eternity of bullying. If not by the other animatronics then by a vile demon named Dwight and his beam laser.
I feel the most logical point lore-wise is between Fnaf 3 and Fnaf 6, right after both Michael and Springtrap escape from the fire. That way we get the Fnaf 3 design and we don't touch the ambiguous nature of UCN since it isn't clear if it's actually hell or not.
If it is right after the FNAF 6 fire, I’d just assume this is one of those times where the entity “modifies” the characters, in this case to buff Afton… kinda. I mean his 3 design is still a walking corpse but it seems a lot more physically capable (and also has both arms back) while still keeping the fear factor.
I imagine it will be more of a case of afton being there, but like Michael, it can't control him, also it be so cool if scotts avatar (animdude) was also input but as something the entity fears and is hiding from so springtrap being there kinda makes the entity worried

I think the best option would be after he gets springlocked. It’s about 13 years where he’s just sitting in one spot. Even when he gets set free by the entity, it would still have anywhere between 1 and 12 years where he could just assume it’s a freak dream
If he were to get a skin of in to the pit spring bonnie than I would think it would an iridescent skin that changes his animations and voice lines if he were to have voice lines. This would be like the naughty bear skin for the trapper where the bear has a different mori animation.
If it isn't Springtrap, there's a couple other choices for a killer: 1.The Mimic (With the new game announced, they could make the Mimic a Killer to help advertise the new game) 2.Scrap baby (That claw is suuuuuper menacing and would make for a great weapon. She herself could be a great killer, althought not as good as her father) But yeah. Springtrap or the Mimic are the two most likely candidates... Also, its very possible that they put the one from the movies instead of the game on this.

My theory based on FrightsGames (which happen before PizzaSim imo cause of the name that's a reference to fnaf 3 and not PizzaSim): If Springtrap is gonna be the killer, then the perfect moment for it to take Afton is in the epilogues when he became an Afton Amalgamation and (most certainly) died to Puppet. If that's right, then A: William got back from Entity's world as Scraptrap. (Which is unlikely in my opinion) B. PitBonnie from Into the Pit became Scraptrap, while Springtrap is in Entity's lair. (PitBonnie can talk and grow organs because of agony, and plus he saw a photo of William and Henry in the game, so maybe he decided to become William Afton and grew a body inside of the suit, it would explain Scraptrap being able to talk and all, and also Glitchtrap being made out of pure agony, since in PQ 1 his design is a big black rabbit goo which looks like agony in the books, and purple remnant of sorts)
And honestly, we don’t really know if it’s actually William. They only said it was a Fnaf crossover. It could be the mimic or something it would be disappointing, but possible

No matter what the timeline option is it's still very scary also something I'd like to point out is that I think this will be canon since EVERY other killer who's been added the story has been cannon and added to their back story which is super cool so I think they'll do the same for William

Well, Afton was drowning in the lake at the end of FF. The evidence for Stitchline games is high so "Books aren’t cannon" are goofy args. The Entity could have taken him from the lake.
I think William would accept the Entity taking him, but I think he would try to escape later. William has this superiority/God complex, and I don't think he would like to do the Entity's bidding (Funny cause that's what William did with Mike lol), I think he would try to outsmart the Entity. Also, would the Entity dislike William? I mean, he killed/experimented with childrend, not adults. But he did it to revive his own son, well, at least at first (Most accepted theory). So I'm really curious about that.
the cosmic entity behind the trial's that make up DBD, they spirit people into "the realm" through fog where they take part in the trial's (i think that's what their called), game's where four "survivor's" have to power up generator's to escape while avoiding "the killer", they have the power to control the property of people in "the realm", giving or even taking power from the killer's inside the realm.

No matter what the timeline option is it's still very scary also something I'd like to point out is that I think this will be canon since EVERY other killer who's been added the story has been cannon and added to their back story which is super cool so I think they'll do the same for William
I'd think he'd be taken after the ending of security breach, cause we don't know what happens to him afterwards and I feel it would make a bit more sense FNAF lore-wise

I think William would accept the Entity taking him, but I think he would try to escape later. William has this superiority/God complex, and I don't think he would like to do the Entity's bidding (Funny cause that's what William did with Mike lol), I think he would try to outsmart the Entity.
Also, would the Entity dislike William? I mean, he killed/experimented with childrend, not adults. But he did it to revive his own son, well, at least at first (Most accepted theory). So I'm really curious about that.

they have the power to control the property of people in "the realm", giving or even taking power from the killer's inside the realm.
