@@lovedlover2667it's not about trying, educate yourself and learn where the dance originated and stop thinking competition.... This is a rooted in SA and has a rich history behind.
Pantsula was used as an expression of resistance during the political struggle then occurring against the apartheid government, as well as being used to spread awareness about social issues such as AIDS. Panstula has an interesting technique, the dance style is quick stepping, there is an influence of tap dancing, there are everyday gestures included such as the rolling of dice, the dancers have on the spot rhythmic footwork. The style of dressing is as important as the dancing in isiPantsula.
For sure 😇 Cuz am a Nigerian 🇳🇬 I dance but this South African 🇿🇦 are super Dope in Dance after they are us too 🇳🇬 On God 🌟 🔮 💫 💚 ✌️ ✨ Say Less E be Things 😉
I remember when I first saw Pantsula dance on Lucky Dube video "Ding ding licky licky bong". Then I saw the Tofo Tofo dancers with their black and yellow outfits, then I saw 2 of them in Beyoncé's ''Who run the world" Hands up for South African dances.👏
Pantsula dance it's an old South African style that started in the 90s. It became popular through a music genre called Kwaito. Basically Kwaito was like how hip hop became a culture, with the lifestyle, dance (Pantsula) and how people dress up.
This is an old dance back then , they've been there even since, some of the dance moves have been moved with the amapiano commercial movement. The originals of amapiano is collaboration between SPANTSULA AND HOUSE MUSIC with a little bit of modernized styles which we currently call Amapiano
This is the dance before all popular dances. Please also note that real Pantsula dancers wear the length of trousers you see in this video. The trousers are Pantsula length and cut - never full length.
Amapantsula is a street sub culture and group of people you find in South African hoods. Pantsula is a lifestyle and a way of communication through dance. Many people saw them as criminals but in actual fact, they were just opposed to the system. They have their own language and way of life.
