From Zambia, I can definitely say the South Africans are very good dancers, together with the Congolese. These two nations have natural talent in dancing.
South Africa has some of the most amazing dancers and musicians in the world. I once went to Carnegie Hall and saw the group Ubuntu perform and they were awesome.
I love me some South Africa, Soweto (SouthWestTownship) God had been gracious unto me to allow me to visit the Motherland, and the dancing, was off the chain!
That guy is known as Limpopo boy and if you can notice he is like Makhadzi's son, he always supports her as one of her dancers. That was lovely to watch.
I am Nigerian and love South African music and they dance better than us....found a place in London where they place Afro beats and Amapiano music.....Close second are Congolese people.....the rest of the continent are third but we Nigerians are proud and might have a commenter say we are the best....remember this is just my own opinion and I am not here to debate what is in my brain....I am currently listening to South Korean music, nor kpop....the band is Leenalchi and it's apparently more traditional folksong music, the band is called Leenalchi.....have love for music that has a great beat....I also love disco...
This dance is a mixture of traditional African dance combined with the local "ganster" dance known as "amapantsula". The amapantsula has the fast footwork steps and the traditional African dance has them raising their feet high up and waving the spear in the air. But it is clear that they have combined these moves altogether and synchronized and modernized all these moves making it "lit". I'm a fellow South African and I can see how they collaborated all these moves. It is fascinating and gets you in the groove.
If u notice the footwork are similar but if u a groovist ul notice the different region buy their footwork and style evn if they didn't display where they are from
Soweto, and Boksburg and Limpopo, Kwazulu Natal dance style. Townships and Provinces. Pantsula, Sbujwa, Bhenga are dance styles. The guy's name is Limpopo Boy.
Why do you think Beyonce called a South African Pantsula group dancers to coriograph on her song Who runs the world. The gift we have when it comes to music and dance it's amazing.
Ralph you look rejuvenate fresh & energiserd 💚🌱💧 well done for taking that much needed break. That guy he comes from a group of dances called limpopo boys..
The dance is called pantsula dance or is'pantsula, traditonally an urban culture that kinda became big in the 80's and 90's it was accompanied by kwaito then,at this point they dancing on a Gqom beat.
I'm YASSS this is SOOO FIRE!! Yes I felt that energy hard even after the performance!! I wish I was there I would have been cutting up too!! You couldn't help but want to join in! I didn't know the dance but with the energy they gave off my body would've been possessed!! ❤❤ Thank you for this! Love ya❤❤❤
My kids did all star cheer and the dance portion of the routines always made me cringe. However they would tell me that the dead drops don’t hurt when done right. Off course they are young and in shape to do that stuff

Definitely, when we dance, we connect with the beat especially drums, it does become spiritual. We tell our stories through dancing as well.
