Your heart jewelry from Setesdal is absolutely beautiful, especially with the delicate engraving along the edge. I can't wait to see them on your sweaters. ❣
Thank you for making Advent even more special by visiting my house everyday! You make me smile and laugh in every video. The silver clasps are exquisite what a lovely gift. See you guys tomorrow xxx
It's been such a tough year for me but you two always manage to make me smile and chuckle. 😊💕 I LOVE watching everything and anything you post!! Your stories are always interesting and informativ, the way you treat each other with such kindness and respect is wonderful to watch 😍 and although I'm not a knitter at all, following you makes me want to start...we will see what the new year brings. 😊
I'm having so much fun counting down the days to Christmas with you, Arne and Carlos. I used to love my advent calendar with the little pictures, but your mini sweaters put that to shame. Thanks so much!
More cookies in the box! I would be right there beside Arne eating all of the Christmas cakes! I am definitely going to have to re-watch episodes when the Advent calendar is done! I need to watch Arne & Carlos every day!
I'm all excited about Christmas too and to make this year special, Im reading one Scandinavian folk tale each day. I was inspired last year by Arne's story of his grandfather and the ride home with the gnome of the mountain. Thank you for that and for all of your Christmas videos, which make each day leading to Christmas more special!
Oh yes remember it well! Such a lovely place you visited in August! They clasps are really beautiful! Now get them on your sweaters and get wearing! Xx 🎅🏻🎄🧶😘
Such beautiful clasps for your Sedestal sweaters. You will both look fabulous when you wear them and they will bring back happy memories of Sedestal. I loved the Sedestal episodes and I am also enjoying the chaotic cookie episodes. I plan to bake brune pinner for Christmas once I finish knitting a few more Nordic sweaters. Thanks guys!
I am enjoying these visits with you so much. The heart clasps are beautiful and will always remind you of your trip to Setesdal. Thank you Arne and Carlos. You are so generous to share your culture and holidays with us. ❤️
More on the crazy captioning. Mine named your gift giver as "who's feeding." Not only am I charmed by this daily ritual approaching Christmas but the captions are a never ending source of amusement. I am so glad you have them, as I'm one of the hard-of-hearing watchers. I appreciate the captioning very much.
I laughed out loud when Arne repeats everything Carlos says tongue in cheek twinkle in his eyes & cheeky glance to the camera Carlos carried on non de plume true comedy moment 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What gorgeous silver clasps! They will look stunning on your Setesdal sweaters. Husfliden from Setesdal gave you both a lovely gift. We never know what each little sweater reveals, but we are sure to be entertained, moved, and left with a smile. Thank you for opening your special gift in front of us today.
This year is too busy! I’m longing for more quarantine time to knit, knit, knit! How thoughtful to share the reveal of the exquisite Sedestal clasps with your virtual family. The hearts are the perfect design to echo how much we, your family, love you! ❤️🥰❤️
Laughed out loud in a store today when I saw Holly Dolly sugar cookie mix. Big picture of Dolly Parton on the box. Can’t upload the photo here but if I lived closer this would be under your tree 😀
Hello fellows, I wonder if any one else has noticed how precise and accurate the both of you are? I have noticed that the advent calendar has probably been measured to point. Thankyou! For each day of the advent being shared in a meaningful way every time.......mc
You two are SO fun together! I love the way you tease and laugh even at things that are annoying! LOL. Arne is indeed a hoarder but you are finding the way to make the best of it. #Prymspiration just makes me smile every time Arne says it. Thanks again to Kate from The Last Homely House for leading me to you. The silver hearts are glorious and will be perfect on your sweaters. It must be Sunday there by now, so as I say goodnight on Saturday, I hope you are relaxing with a mug of coffee or tea together. Perhaps by the fireplace.
I love the heart-shaped clasps from Setesdal! They will look so beautiful on your sweaters! Thanks for opening them with us and for another great episode🙂.
Beautiful silver heart shaped clasps! Arne, you will enjoy polishing them, too. The ski sweaters that my Mom and sister had featured pewter closures. Also, I wonder if it’s possible to get a montage of a few of the Advent sweaters and balls made by viewers at the beginning or end of an episode? Too much work? Finally, today’s Instagram featuring the Christmas star was wonderful, especially because there’s also a glimpse of your home to give context.
Oh no, Arne admits he is a hoarder but.....the objects I have seen are beautiful and he always seems to have a purpose for them. Can't wait to see the next cooking podcast and your excellent team work. Your talents compliment each other. See you tomorrow.
The clasps are so pretty and special to close a cardigan!! And yes, your faces and reactions in your videos bring lots of people to laugh. And this is such a blessing, especially in these days!! Thank you Arne and Carlos, Carlos and Arne. Stay safe all!! 🕯🕯🕯🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Oooh, those clasps are beautiful! You will both look so fabulous in your sweaters with those on them too. Tak for another great episode. Be well, Sally 🌹
Oh! What beautiful silver clasps💕💕💕. More silver for Arne to polish😂 Wish you could hear me laugh, so hard, when Arne repeats “Random!” in his style of surprise. Love, you guys❤️🎄
Such beautiful heart clasps for your sweaters! I'm looking forward to seeing you all dressed up in your sweaters and your folk costumes. I found my old Christmas sweater when I was moving and that's what I'll be wearing this year. I always loved that sweater and was so sad when I couldn't find it. It's a beautiful embroidered wool sweater that zips up the front. It's more than 20 years old and still in perfect condition.
What a wonderful gift today! I hope to see them on your sweaters very soon. Keep working on the folk costumes. Is there an update? For sure this Christmas? I have been thinking about the waffle cookies. If you had a couple of the tins you roll the cookie on, couldn't you let the cookie stay on the tin roller while you make another. You would have more time for that cookie to set up and keep the shape. Tomorrow is cookie day. I love the delicate ones made with the cookie press/gun called Spritz. Almond and lemon are my favorite flavors! Mom would make them chocolate too. I am betting that you will make the rosettes! Only time will tell! See you Sunday!
thank you for your podcast. krumkake iron to heat up for 5 min before use. put a dessertspoon with the dough in the middle of the iron. and press it together. Very short steketid. In my old recipe they also add kardemomme. I tried to write in Norwegian, but my Mac did not accept it. All the best.
Those clasps are beautiful! Thank you for including them in your calendar. I purchased patterns yesterday. I might have to put one together. I loved the colorful charts and those just made me want to start on this project. My knitting group has a small Christmas party every year. The Christmas balls would make nice giveaways fore guests. Cheryl
The silver clasps are beautiful! Looking forward to seeing them sewn on the sweaters. Do you think you will do several weeks again in Setesdal? A little town full of tradition. 💕 You mentioned Kim and that would be wonderful. I so enjoyed your episode with him. Gail K./USA
I’m like Arne, I think globally. This means I’m like a computer and may have 100 windows open on my desktop computer screen. Each window being a different thought or craft or idea or chore that I have to do and that I’m constantly thinking about, or have it ‘waiting in the wings’. Carlos is more like a ‘one window’ person. You think analytically and only work on one window at a time on your desktop computer! You both complement each other and it’s fun to watch.
I've done nothing yet for Xmas. Just can't get in the groove. We are losing our whole acreage and hand built strawbale house ( lived here 34 years) to a new highway and are heartbroken. Just can't get in the Christmas mood. At least I can watch you and be entertained. 💝
I love the silver clasps! I would love to spend 6 weeks in Norway,l earning how to make the sweaters and the embroidery, and travel around a bit! And see Arne and Carlos! ❤️🎄❤️
Another wonderful episode. Those clasps are stunning. You would be appalled to see folks in the US who put up their Christmas decorations before our Thanksgiving in November.😝
Hi Guys! I like your Advent Celebration a lot. I am trying to start knittingt one of your XMS ball but is terrible. So I will keep on trying. I hope that international travel and business will recover soon. I have 2 round prym needles only and right now, only one: my baby cat bit one of them and the yarn gets caught although I filed it very carefully, I ´m afraid I will brake it. They are really good for my eyes, I can see very well the stitches, as Arnes says, and I imagine it will great to do those terrible double pointed needle knitting because the yarn stick to them. And I cannot find more yet in Chile. And to buy anything in other countries is awful, there are so many forms to fill and I will have to special importing section to sign paper after paer that I rather will wait for a business experts do it and buy it to them!
Should the mini sweaters be steam blocked? I tried steaming one of my sweaters, but there didn’t seem to be a noticeable smoothing of the stitches like I saw last year when I used the Alpaca Soft for the Christmas Balls.
Almost done with the steeked sweater! Can’t wait to be done! Your clasps are beautiful! BTW. Your folk costumes have tatted lace on them. Do you have a source? I know someone who has been tatting for 46 years.
Greetings from Calgary, I'm loving your daily video and look forward to seeing you both daily and all the terrific little gifts in your sweaters, Fantastic! You are my Favourite You Tubers! Merry Christmas🌲💕
