One of the things I still like from behind the scenes in interviews is James Marsden being concerned throughout the filming that everyone including Ronald was an actor and he was the person being setup the entire time.

Possible ideas - several people at a store, hotel, event, but a group of people get exposed to some possible "bug" and are quarantined in some isolated spot, where some of the quaranteen-ees are a documentary film crew. Or a group of people competing to be on some kind of reality TV show, asked to do crazy things to become a contestant, and there's a behind the scenes documentary filming it all. Or a reality version of Gilligan's Island where people on a short day cruise visiting and isolated island (where a nature documentary crew was filming) and gets stuck there for a week or two before they can be rescued.

Ronald said that they got the movie because production felt bad that they were sequestered so they told them they made an arrangement with the court to let them give them certain things like movies.

The most shocking thing I’ve learned about this show from interviews is that it was filmed two years ago. 😮

It wasn’t. It was filmed in February/March of 2022

@@jordancohen7870 hmm I guess the info was incorrect. Makes more sense that it was last year

Send somebody on a “retreat” that is filming a documentary about it at the same time with a bunch of random attendees. Like a real life white lotus.

Jenny is absolutely right that everything being released at once really is annoying when you have other stuff going on in your life. Pretty much you suddenly have a couple days to watch an entire season of something, or people are going to start giving out spoilers because people will assume that you have already binged it if they know you were watching it (or just assume anyone who is interested it will have watched the entire season in a couple of days). I think things like The Circle do it best. Start with a 2 to 4 episode drop, then start doing one or two a week for the rest of the season.

Sex drive came out in 08, Ronald was in high school, there’s nothing there, he was a teen boy

Sex drive is hilarious, I don’t remember why it would be problematic today it’s been years since I’ve watched it but it’s definitely like a less popular American Pie, Ronald is a bro so of course that would be one of his favorite movies
