Thank you for this lovely tutorial! I just wanted to share that in procreate, if you go to the top left set of icons and select canvas, then select "drawing assist" you can instantly create the graph. No need to worry about lifting you ipen. And you can customize the size of the graph and the thickness of your lines.
What!! 😳 😀👏🏻thank you so much!! 💕
Excellent video. Thanks for posting
I can’t thank you enough!!! 🤩

Thx for info. Things have changed; now I’m doing regular crochet; all in black with a little red here and there; then I will do the emblem of Deadpool. Hopefully that will be easier.
Awesome! It sounds like a big undertaking but you’ve found a way through it. Good luck, I’m sure it will be fantastic 🧶❤️❤️
Hello, thank you for this tutorial! I feel more confident I can try this after watching! :) I’m wondering what kind of swatch is that, or what kind of stitch did you use to create it? And is it vital to do that kind? I’m only familiar with gauge swatches… Thank you again for making this video and for your help!
Thank you! This was a corner to corner swatch since I was making a corner to corner pattern.

Hi,
I’ve been looking at different programs trying to find one that I can insert a pattern I have to create a graph so I can commence my baby blanket I’m making.
Do thanks for highlighting these two programs.
I have been told of another couple of programs and one is by Knitpro the other I’m not too sure I think it was Grid or something along those lines.
Thanks and blessings 🙏🏽🧶😊
Oh great! 👏🏻
I’ve heard good things about knitpro but I think you have to pay for that one - not sure .
I really enjoyed your video. I have a question; are you using Procreate to import your picture & set sizing & then into Stitch Fiddle to convert into a graph fan & back to Procreate to edit colors & create layer to work from as you do project. Just trying
to figure out the “purpose” of using 2 apps. Is Stitch Fiddle not capable of doing the whole process? 🤔
Good question. I’m using procreate first to design the graphic and then importing to stitch fiddle to create the graph. I am not thrilled with the graphing options in procreate.
I only have the free version of stitch fiddle so I’m not sure if you can design intricately on that platform.
But absolutely, that would save a step. You’ll have to let me know if that works. Always great to learn a more streamlined process. 💕
Baby blanket size would be lovely with the wee fox 🦊. Thank u.
Hi Carol. I reworked it for you in a 36x36 baby blanket size . I won’t have time to make a video for this soon but I’m happy to send you the graph. My email is rozfulcher@gmail.com.
This is a wonderful and helpful video. I do have one question, what if your sizing isn’t matching up? For example, I keep getting a 19.82” X 18”. It’s seems no matter what I do it won’t get close to an 18”X18”. Does it matter if they don’t completely match up, or will it mess up my entire piece?
where are you starting with the measurement? In procreate or stitchfiddle? It sounds like you are going to have to crop the original image to make sure you get an accurate measurement regardless. I would work on that before you move forward with the design.
Did you draw the image yourself or did you happen to work from a picture from the internet? If you’ve done both, which one do you think is easier?
Hi ros any word of your tutorial for the fox graph Corner to corner. Waiting for it.
I wrote you last week on the other comment you left telling you that I completed it and asked you to contact me via email. (Rozfulcher@gmail.com)
Hi what tablet and what app do you use to have graphs on and tick the boxes off as you go please?
That’s what this whole video was about 😆 did you watch it? Procreate and stitch fiddle . Or are you asking about a product not mentioned in this video that’s being used elsewhere?
Hi, are you using classic version or modern version c2c for the measuring and sizing part?
Classic
Hi hun im new to c2c crocheting so how can i make this my blanket sizeto a lap babyblanket so like for granny sqaures of 24 sorry for dumb questions but idont have any idea at all hope you can help me xx
I’m not clear on what you’re asking. You want to do granny squares instead of C2C ? Or are you wanting to resize something to a lap/baby blanket size?
Love the video but i use samsung and it doesnt have this app is there any other apps that are like this because i keep looking for one but as soon as i want to graph it tells me i have to pay for app is there any free apps i can use for my phone
Search under "pixel grids" for a phone app. I think there is one called "my row counter". I'm not sure if it is free but that is the only one that comes to mind.
Maybe canva has a function that you could try.
QUESTION: I’m new to this type of crochet. I have been playing with it but I’m wanting to do afghan size type blanket. The picture I’m using is Deadpool on an 8x10 copy paper. It’s for my son and I hope to get it done by Christmas. How do I accomplish this from an 8x10 size? Would I just do my squares bigger? Thx for any help.
You wouldn’t necessarily have to make your squares bigger. Your main goal is to convert that 8x10 image into the size you want your blanket to be.
Then follow the steps I shared in the beginning for measuring your blocks. To make it easier, I would say the average size of each block is 1 inch and then do the math from there.
You can probably take that image you have, scan it and upload it into stitch fiddle and bypass the whole procreate portion. Or if you can find the same image online and save that to upload into stitch fiddle to pixelate it would be even easier.
💕
Great video. Can you use it for sc?
Yes but it will just come out smaller 👍🏻💕
I make beanie hats, how can I implement this since I make it in the rounds not flat. What sizing do I use? By the way wonderful video, ty.
I would recommend that you look at other graphs that are created for projects in the round and then use a similar format . Usually the graph in the round is more of a rectangular shape and you would just continue to follow it from right to left, instead of diagonal.
The design of the graph wouldn’t change though so this tutorial should still help for creating the design itself.
Your size of the graph will depend on the circumference of your beanie. You would take that measurement and then use that for your graph.
Thank you so much.
hello i'm a huge fan of Kim Hyun Joong and would like to do a c2c work from a photo of the artist. I tried the app you indicated but found it difficult. could you help me with the photo and tell me the value for the work, in case you decide to do the graphic of the image.
I’m not sure what you are asking me to do. If you are asking for me to do it for you, I’m very sorry , I don’t have the time to do it.
Hi love your tutorials could u do small intro tutorial for this fox c to c. Would love to try one. Many thanks
Let me work on a video for you because I only made this as a drawing sample , not a plan for a real piece. What size would you like it to be?

Can you do this with mini c2c
Yes, just adjust the measurements in the beginning with whatever size your mini c2c swatch comes out to . 👏🏻💕
Do you of any apps for android I can't seem to find one like the procreated app
I would recommend Sketchbook for Android.
@@PlayHookywithMe thank you so much
What is the name of the app for design graph on your ipad ??
Procreate
What versions of these apps are you using?
What versions? I’m unclear of what you mean.
I went to the App Store and it looks like there’s a free and pay version of procreate and I wondered which one you’re using. I’m also not seeing stitch fiddle. I would love to try this! I’m enamored by it. Nice work!
I’m just seeing that stitch fiddle is a website - silly me! 🤪
@@maryannferkis3424 oh ok 😆 yes, and then procreate is on the iPad 👍🏻
@@maryannferkis3424 I bought procreate for mine - sorry / didn’t see the second message !
can this be stitched all around for a baby blanket
No, it’s not big enough , unfortunately
chrochet crowd said I could but I dont know what stitch to use
@@virginiaroberts4921 I’m not really understanding your question then.
The square you see here in the demonstration is not big enough for a baby blanket. You would have to take the image and reformat it with more squares .
You can do that for free on stitch fiddle like I showed you.
But you need to clarify “stitched all around” because that sounds like you’re asking about a border. There are several stitches you could use :
My 5 Favorite Borders That Work For Almost Any Project 🤩
ruclips.net/video/JskHR0b8hEE/видео.html
what my question is can this fox be the middle of a baby crib blanket if I were to chrochet all around it and make it big and what stitch looks even close to the same stitches used for the fox
@@virginiaroberts4921
Ahhh , got it , that’s more clear .
I would recommend doing the box stitch in the round , a typical granny square in the round or a modern granny square in the round .
You can find all three tutorials on my channel.
I think these will work well because they all use double crochets grouped in 3’s and can easily be manipulated by adding corners and sides in the amounts you need 👍🏻
Would you be able to create a C2C for me if I have the photo?
I would love to say yes but I’m fully loaded with projects right now. Have you tried taking your photo into stitch fiddle?
What if you want to make a rather large blanket that is way more inches than procreate can handle?
What is happening for you in procreate? Is it telling you that it can’t handle the amount of layers or data?
How big is your piece?
If you are bringing an image into procreate, make sure it’s at a lower resolution to help with file size (72dpi)
If none of this is working then I would suggest working in photoshop if you have it. It’s a powerhouse with file sizes .
Also you could always just take it into stitch fiddle and it should be able to handle the inches there.
But again , hopefully it’s just a case of lowering the resolution of your initial file size.,
@@PlayHookywithMe you said that if you wanted to make an 18in project you needed to put 18in into procreate for the image size. Right? But if I’m making a huge blanket for like say a queen size bed. I’d need a 90in and procreate can’t handle that. So would I just have to take it into stitch fiddle and just do it there. Or would I just not do the paper size to 90in and just make sure I have the right number of squares or what? Does that make sense?
@@beccafoley1448 me personally I would try a couple of different things . You’ve derived that you need 90 inches to make your blanket so then I would edit the measuring to something else (cm, mm etc) essentially just making sure that I’ve created a graph that has 90 squares.
But yes, if that’s not working and you don’t have something like PS to accommodate the sizing , I’d give stitch fiddle a go.
You can send the image to me over in Instagram message if you want me to give it a try or see if I can help you better.
@@PlayHookywithMe ok thanks!
