Maybe the buttons on the keypad read the fingerprints of the person putting in the code. If if the prints are not in the database then it doesn't work. I think the movie "The Dark Knight" had something similar but I can't remember. Just a thought.
Blood is the answer. If Omni-Man is the danger and they know it, Mark is like in the comics going to stand against his father. Blood relation is the answer.
Funny how they say drugs don't effect them; then in the season finale, Cecil mentions something they put in the water so people won't be able to see anything in a certain spectrum of light, and it seems to work on Mark just fine.
That’s a decent plot hole. Wonder if theres a canon way to argue it. Maybe Cecil made it up so he didn’t have to tell mark how they actually did it, hoping Omni-man would get fed misinformation
Drugs don’t harm their cells, I assume they can still interfere with the brain though, especially when they were working before mark even got his powers
In the end, blood was the answer. Nolan's own flesh and blood, his son, was the one who stopped him. Invincible didn't stop Omni-man, Mark Grayson did.

@@controlman7490 right but viltrumite biology is the same as humans just with stupidly strong bioenergy allowing them to become far stronger and more powerful than any human. But because their biology is so similar (organs, muscle tissue etc) they should still function the same, if they can figure out a way to massively discharge the electrons in the blood and body you’d be looking at complete cellular failure.

I don’t like how this scene is kinda contradicted by the last episode. When Nolan flys into space after beating mark, he’s covered in his blood, which just burns up from the speed.
Not just Mark's blood, but also pleeeeenty of dead human blood. Y'know, from all those dead humans they murdered a bit ago. So it's likely a fair amount of human blood burning up, and the relatively small portion that was Mark's blood just failed to hold on. Just because it's indestructible doesn't mean it'll cling to anything.
When first seeing this I assumed this would be how (comic spoilers ahead) cecil discovers the frequency which can be played to harm mark later on in the comics. But them saying that blood is the key makes me feel like the show (like a lot of things) is going in a different direction with their weakness.
When omniman flew out into space the blood on his gloves from beating the shit outta mark burned up in like half a second but his suit didn’t, I don’t know I don’t think these guys are trying hard enough
Comic spoiler. A group of united aliens created a virus that could easily kill viltrumites. @@newguy90 Maybe your job has a super-secret underground villians lair that is trying to find a way to kill superhumans?
In the first place you'd have to know that there's a secret lab and the elevator buttons are actually a key pad.
Maybe the buttons on the keypad read the fingerprints of the person putting in the code. If if the prints are not in the database then it doesn't work. I think the movie "The Dark Knight" had something similar but I can't remember.
Just a thought.
This season of king of the hills is dope
Blood is the answer. If Omni-Man is the danger and they know it, Mark is like in the comics going to stand against his father. Blood relation is the answer.
Spoilers ...nope
its just not at all😂😂😂😂
Funny how they say drugs don't effect them; then in the season finale, Cecil mentions something they put in the water so people won't be able to see anything in a certain spectrum of light, and it seems to work on Mark just fine.
That’s a decent plot hole. Wonder if theres a canon way to argue it. Maybe Cecil made it up so he didn’t have to tell mark how they actually did it, hoping Omni-man would get fed misinformation
Mark got his powers at 18, he drank laced water before he got his powers, hence the drugs would still have an effect on him.
The visibility chemical might not have to harm or kill cells to work
I think they meant harmful drugs that can kill, injure or poison them
Drugs don’t harm their cells, I assume they can still interfere with the brain though, especially when they were working before mark even got his powers
In the end, blood was the answer. Nolan's own flesh and blood, his son, was the one who stopped him. Invincible didn't stop Omni-man, Mark Grayson did.
They would have been fcked if Mark wasn't a cool as dude but instead but an genocidal duchebag
Invincible was pretty vincible against Omniman tho
"I dont know you!!! That's my purse!!!"
*kicks Omni-Man in the nuts*
That music and the way they operate gave me XCOM: Enemy Unknown vibes...
Dr. Vahlen would fit right in
@@mj1mj3 keep Vahlen out of this. She probably create an even more powerful Viltrumite and somehow, they listen and follow Omni Man
I love they mentioned trying to use prions to disrupt Viltrumite DNA. Fuckin’ awesome. This show does its homework.
What about the prions intrigues you the most when compared to the other attempts to ravish viltrumites cells? Radiation also wrecks dna as well.
@@GreaterGrievobeast55it rarely gets talked about unlike radiation
This is great foreshadowing for the ending. Blood is the answer, just not in the way he’s thinking.

I don't know why but dude looks like he's from Spawn.

@@papyrustheskeleton3392 I like the idea he’s from a parallel universe but in the same multiverse as invincible. So their stories don’t mess with each other but we know they’re from image comics
same multiverse, different plane of existence.
I just realized that laser they were trying on it was a miniaturized version of the Hammer space laser.
They got it smoking briefly, so thats probably the close they ever got to damaging it, but it didn't actually do a thing when they used it on Omni Man.
That boy ain’t right
I didn't notice this till watching this clip but all those workers in the lab appeared to be machine heads...That connects the dot with the scene when Cecil just used a stick to easily opened Machine Head's face and got out that chip
Holy shit, you're right! How did i not notice that before 😂

Scenes like these are why I always fiddle with elevator buttons when nobody's around
Incase anyone doesn't know there's a few weaknesses Viltramites have first their equilibrium certain frequencies can hurt and kill them, the ragners a raptor like creatures that can even kill the toughest Viltramite and the scourge virus which temporarily takes away their powers making them weak as a human

“blood’s still the answer” in the end it was Mark’s blood that stopped Nolan
There is something funny about the exsitsence of a secret research lab inside of an already secret agency.
Dude suuuch a good line to end on. Especially with the shift in focus to Mark's nametag. The writing in this show is incredible.
“Blood is still the answer”
He was right, just not in the way he thought…
Now that I think about it: what would happen if Mark ever tried to donate blood to a bloodbank? I'm guessing the easy answer is "he can't" but it would be interesting to know what would happen.
Now that answer is what got me curious. If some random dude gets the blood of viltrumite and get injected with it, what would happen?
@@moridragon8304 boom
@@danielm.595 Understandable but holy crap, imagine if he donated his blood without realizing he's a viltrumite

Please don't cancel this show Amazon.
Will they? It doesnt seem to be failing...
it's already doing better than the boys, and it comes from a very succesful and praised comic book, so don't worry.
@@seanisgone5413 they won’t, the show is a success.
The only problem that I see is if the show is divided by seasons, X problem could cancel it before the new seasons starts.
Still hope it doesn’t, the story of Invincible has an end, it isn’t a Marvel or DC story that can have a million different stories of a same hero without an end. Here it has an end, and because of that, it could be all in 1 season.
@@jazi150 the creator already said it could go one for 7 seasons. It will have an end but definitely not In 1 season
It's too popular to get canceled. Considering how fast they are cruising through the story, I think it'll be only a couple seasons if that.
Bobby "That's my Spine! I don't know you!"
Viltrumite "...?...?...?" (Back off)

Even though I have fully read the comic, I am still looking forward to more seasons of the series, for the voice acting and soundtrack mostly.
Every time I see that character it reminds me of king of the hill and I don’t even watch that show lol
Bobby Hill went really far in life once he gained some self confidence.
Earth: Viruses don’t work
The Scourge Virus: am I a joke to you?
That scientists looked a lot like Geoffrey from Fresh Prince. I noticed Carl Winslow from Family Matters as the principal of Mark’s school.

No he didn't that guy was dumb asf. Robot is more of the Batman of this universe.
Naaa dude was dumb too. Did he really think he would jump kick a superpowered being
Damnit Bobby
Donald reminds me of Twitch from the Spawn comic
Thank you 4ever
What about neurotic discharge? Every cell in the human body has an electron keeping them alive and moving. If you disrupt that or over clock it the cells will rapidly decline in production and die.
We're talking about Viltrumite cells, not human cells.
@@kevindolan9 Agreed

He said Prions don't work so Mark is legit immune to mad cow disease lmfao
Me an intellectual: just slits omni mans throat with the surgical equipment they used for invincible surgeries lol
I honestly think that was a refrance (might have spelled refrance wrong but meh) to the thing but idk might just be me because that stuff is still used today so
I don’t like how this scene is kinda contradicted by the last episode.
Insane foreshadowing bout his heritage 🔥
When first seeing this I assumed this would be how (comic spoilers ahead) cecil discovers the frequency which can be played to harm mark later on in the comics. But them saying that blood is the key makes me feel like the show (like a lot of things) is going in a different direction with their weakness.

Comic spoiler.
A group of united aliens created a virus that could easily kill viltrumites. Viltrumites affected got sick and most died either from the virus or being killed by others because they were weakened by the virus. This led to only 70 vilturmites left in the universe, and as of now that is still the number.
