That might have been my phone call in the background! MRO answers their phone and are incredibly helpful. My Echo Traverse kit just arrived today and casts like a dream. Thank you MRO for your friendly and expertise advice. You’ve demystified this first year of fly fishing for me and I could t be more grateful. Cheers from Alaska!

Why standard clinch knot and not the improved clinch knot, since I always thought the improved version was stronger?

Man I really wish I could see your links. Would you mind putting them on the screen and make them clickable. Or searchable or something

They are also in the Description of the video as Brian says. We do put them on the screen and are clickable, just not visible on certain devices.

Thanks MRO! I learned about 15 knot over the years and only use a few. With tippet rings you can use 3 clinch knots to attach leader to ring, then to tippet and to fly. I also use a Canoe Man Loop knot (very simple) on most every streamer I tie on. As Brian says..just remember to have fun! Good fishing to you. 👍👌🎣

You could also add a small fli ring. So you don't need to add more knots to your line, gets to short. Snip it at the ring, & add a new section.
