Thoroughly enjoyed watching somebody experience that intro for the first time ever. Glad you enjoyed. Doug Martsch is the most underrated guitar player of all time.
Built to Spill has remained one of my favs for over 20 years. This track is really wonderful. From what I know, Doug Martsch will typically layer 3 or more guitar parts, each doing totally separate things throughout a song. And Built to Spill is one of the only bands I've ever seen that is better live than on the album. I'd recommend the tracks "Stab" or "Velvet Waltz" or "The Plan" which are some of my absolute favorites.
Built to Spill are always so epic! If you want to mix it up a bit.. can't go wrong with their biggest Acolytes... that being Modest Mouse. Particularly something off of their first few albums like "Talking Shit about a Pretty Sunset".
You should definitely check out their track (well, and album) "Living Zoo", it's awesome and based on what I've seen you like of theirs you'll love it too. If you want to listen to the more wistful side they sometimes get into, check out "Liar", "Gone", or even "Things Fall Apart". They have some powerful stuff, and while that slower, more melancholy stuff might not be anyone's first suggestion, they're really good.
I think it’s between Built to Spill and the Mars Volta for the most excited I get to see reax vids uploaded. I said in one of your previous BTS (yeah, they were first) reax that nobody does intros and outros like they do. There are so many tracks that display this characteristic. Still one of my most played bands over the years. Can’t wait to watch you do more. Do “So” or “Mess With Time” or “Living Zoo” or…… doesn’t matter.
Marcos... did you go to the july talk show.... i want to suggest one kf their new songs certain father.... but if you went tk the show they probably played it

Do “Else” next. You won’t regret it.
That amazing intro was very Sonic Youth. The rest of the song was very refreshing. I never heard of this band and thanks to you Marcus I do now.

No matter how many times I've heard this song, I get goosebumps when that slide guitar kicks in at the end.
Glad you're going to keep going. They have a shitload of good songs. Try "Dystopian dream girl".

Saw this live when it first came out, SHowbox Seattle. Easily a top show all time.
