We are living in sad times. This absolutely should not have happened. Too many large corporations have gotten by far too long merely getting their hands slapped. People need to intentionally get involved to save the future of our grandchildren and so on. Thank you for putting this out.

What an amazing journey! Thank you for bringing such concerns into the light. I've never even heard of the Mt. Polly mine spill till I saw your documentary! I live in southwest Colorado, not far from where the Gold King mine spilled thousands of gallons of toxic mine waste into the river here. I don't know if it will ever be the same. Thank you guys for all your work and I will definitely do my part to voice my opinion to help keep this from happening again! Let's keep the wild, wild!

i did a solo packrafting trip here earlier this summer! It was nice to see John (skeptical local) and owner of tatogga lake lodge in the video. I saw so much big game along the Klappan and Spatsizi rivers. There are so many options for packrafting loops in the Sacred Headwaters area and I will definitely be back again. It's the wildest country i've been to.

Great video. FYI there are definitely roadless regions of the US with over 20miles between roads. One example is the River of No Return Wilderness / Gospel Hump Wilderness in Idaho, which is 13000km^2 of roadless terrain.

I'm not an expert on the area (though I'd love to go backpacking), but using the legend on maps for the area it looks like there's always a road withing about 7-10 miles of any point. Km^2 is not equal to Km distance

Wow, I was just checking out those mines on the map and wondering about them, I noticed how huge they were. This is the region that sparked my interest in raft packing/ cycling. It's the only way I could conceive of to travel quickly through the region without fossil fuels.
