Honestly, to me this lives up to the hype. I probably have 30 mascaras (mostly high-end, way too much) in my drawer, and this is the one I reach for 9/10 times. It just flares my lashes out, makes them look thick but also long. It does not flake or get everywhere, it's the same place I put it at the end of the day. I could not ask for more in a mascara, I'm blown away that it's drugstore.
I started using this a few months ago. Not only does it make my lashes pretty, it doesn't anger my ocular rosacea. So many amazing mascaras inflame my eyes. Finding one that looks great and doesn't hurt it like finding a little pot of gold!!
Allison Lewis just wait it out... this stuff is fine. Not great. Super wet at first then super dry. It didn't last me the three months- not even close. She mentioned the it cosmetics superheroes. I have a deluxe mini that I opened the other day and it's awesome! Clump-free, black, curling, wonderful!
Uk ladies, this has been released in the U.K. Now. It's called L'Oréal Paris paradise exactic (something like that) its named differently and has different packaging here but it is the same one. So and uk ladies looking for it it's now available. I got mine from Superdrug xx
I agree. It's an excellent mascara at a great price point. I alternate this with Covergirl's Supersizer, or even use them together if I'm feeling crazy.
I think I might be the only person not loving Lash Paradise mascaras. So I ran out and bought the Lash Paradise based upon YT reviews calling this holy grail stuff in both formulas; waterproof and regular. I threw them out. I found the regular formula did create lashes comparable to some of the high end formulas, but it flaked after two hours of wear time. I tried to give it another try with Lash primer to see if it would live up to the hype and struggled to achieve an even application. The waterproof formula was miserable to remove. The waterproof formula didn't flake, created a nice fringe of lashes, but was simply awful to remove. I thought I may have gotten a bad tube of the regular formulation, so I tried it with the waterproof over it and it didn't flake, but again, it was a miserable experience removing it at end of day. I did give these a two week try, but in the end this was the first YT must have that was a no-go for me😔.
Sookee Carter it's a PAIN to remove - the only thing that works for me to remove it is coconut oil or argan oil (I imagine other face oils would work, but you really need the oil to break it down!) I don't mind the removal process though, it looks so fabulous when applied!!

I haven't tried the regular because I accidentally bought the waterproof and I never have more than two mascaras open at a time (I have a Better Than Sex open right now too). But I love the waterproof. I do agree it's horrible to remove, though I've found the blue cap mircella (no idea how to spell that) water from Garnier is the best way to remove it. Combining that after using a Neutrogena wipe gets probably 95% of it off.
I don't like it by itself. I layer it over top my lash princess and it helps make it waterproof and it just really makes them pop. But idk that I'll run out and get it again- honestly I just need to invest in a good curler bc lash princess does everything else. To be fair I have real straight downturned lashes
I love, love, love this mascara. I bought it about 3 months ago and it's still going strong--no flaking, no clumping, perfect! And I discovered if I use it with a lash primer, my lashes almost look like they're false! Will definitely buy it again!!!!
Every time I see a video about this mascara, I know people will be complaining about how hard it is to take off the waterproof formula. Pond's Cold Cream takes it right off. I do this every single night and it works great. Before I tried this mascara, I didn't even know how good my eyelashes could look.

I bought this after Tati's review and I completely fell in love. It's the perfect mascara for me!! Mine doesn't flake until after 8 hours and it applys so smooth. I have short non curled lashes and this mascara holds on strong and keeps it's curls and length/volume. I love it ❤❤❤❤❤
I've had mine for over a month, and I love it! I keep trying others in my collection, but it's always right back to this one. I love that it doesn't budge once you put it on - there's no smudging and no flaking - the only one I've found that doesn't!!

The bump on the lower lash line of you right eye, you can put a warm (hot as you can stand it) compress on it and massage it around on the bump and it'll go away. It's essentially as clogged oil gland. Just a tip cause I noticed it when you did the demo! Love you Jessica!!! ❤️❤️
Completely agree with this review! I don't even want to go back and try my old favourites. I'm on my second tube of this stuff! I grabbed one the day I saw it being unpacked at Walmart and then quickly bought back ups shortly after. Absolutely love it! Note, the waterproof is VERY waterproof!! (Bought one by mistake but glad I did, now I know!)
Cheryl Lynn Clark I have them both in waterproof formulas so I've never had any flaking but the Too Faced one seems to make my lashes curlier. I almost always use a lash curler but have had the Better Than Sex actually curl them without the curler :)

I love this mascara in the waterproof version. Keeps my lashes curled and doesn't flake whatsoever. I use this new oil cleanser from neutrogena that just came out and it takes the mascara off with no problem.

I love this mascara! I bought the waterproof. It doesn't flake and it gives my lashes fullness and length. It is a bit hard to remove, but I use a little jojoba oil and it does the job.
I love this mascara and I'm so glad I bought it! I have 4 mascaras right now, a MAC one, PUR Minerals one, a Revlon one and the Lash Paradise and I love the Lash Paradise the best! I bought the Too Faced one last year and wasn't impressed, but Lash Paradise is 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽.
This trick may not work for everyone, but before I apply any mascara, I like to wipe off all the excess product on the edge of the tube, and just a bit is left on the brush. It may be a hassle, but I do like to take the time to apply my mascara well, and I like the look it gives me, just nice fluttery lashes without the spidery/clumpy effect.
I accidentally got the waterproof version and hated it. They come in the exact same color tube and I didn't know it was the waterproof formula until I got home. It took 3 days to get it all off. Horrible! I'm glad to know the regular is a good one. Enjoyed the video!
This is my absolute favorite mascara because it is so easy. Like Jessica said, one coat lengthens, separates, and volumizes. The only thing I've noticed is the formula starts to get a little goopy after about a month of use for me. But at this price point, ,I'm fine with purchasing a new tube each month.

I love the Lash Paradise!! I have stick straight barely there lashes and it gives me both volume and length which is something I can never find in a mascara. I use the waterproof version because my lashes won't hold a curl otherwise and I experience no flaking or smudging (typical of a waterproof version for me at least). I know some commenters are saying it's hard to get off so I think if you don't already incorporate some kind of cleansing oil or oil in general in your skincare routine you will not like the waterproof version. I use Clinique cleansing balm and it takes it off perfectly. My holy grail mascara was the Cover Girl Lash Blast (orange water proof tube) because it gave me length. I discovered the Super Sizer and used that one and loved it for volume. I want to try the non waterproof version for Lash Paradise and see if that will hold up a curl for me.

Hi Jessica! I love this mascara. What I really love about it is if I'm in a hurry I can use it sans eyelash curler. My eyelashes grow down. So I'm always fighting with them to stay up. This formula is amazing. Not a "gloppy" mess lol 😃✌🏼
I got a sample of TFBTS mascara in my Ipsy bag and the same day got the Lash Paradise. I could not tell a difference except that the TF was a wetter formula. I like the Lash Paradise better because of the price and it does the same thing. Loreal nailed it! 👍🏾
I have had really good luck with this mascara. I used to wear Benefit roller lash faithfully for the last 2 years but it always flaked on me. So far even in the summer heat, no flaking! Way less expensive and a better formula!?! I'll take it : )
To those of you having trouble with this mascara, try scraping one side of the brush along the inside when you take it out. It gets rid of the excess product and makes it easier to build up if you need to.
The waterproof might be awfully hard to take off...but it is hands down ACTUALLY waterproof. I found out about a death in the family...and wore it to the funeral!!!...and my lashes never stuck together or fell out. Through BAWLING my eyes out. Incredible to me. I had people asking me constantly what kind I used!
I didn't love it at first but kept hearing how so many do love it! I tried it again & again then realized wiggling the wand back & forth makes it work best! My fave now! To make it even BETTER!!!! Use L'Oréal Telescopic paired with it :))))
I wear Clinique products but that Mascara is the best I've ever had. I wear the Hydrofudge/Waterproof style and it doesn't come off until you use makeup remover on it. I've not seen it flake or smudge.
This is my favorite, too! Mine was super-dry and thick after only a couple of weeks so I just opened a new one. Might have been a bad tube, who knows? But I'm so happy with it I won't hold it against it. Not sure what the "Mystic Black" would look like, tho...
Have not tried it yet, but I have done this, when mascara is drying up put three drops of eye drops any brand and shake the tube up. I helps remoisten it.
I used to like the BTS by too faced and the pur magnetic mascara, but this mascara beats them out by a long shot. and I do like that it is a dryer formula and it stays all day I absolutely love it
This reminds of the Too Faced Better than Sex, but it doesn't flake on me at all. I have this in blackest black waterproof, and I love it. No mascara has ever been better on my lashes, so I'll definitely be buying tube after tube of this.
This is worth the hype! Best one ive tried in a very long time. The formula is great and it makes my lashes look like i have on falsies. I dont typically go for the older style bristle brushes cause i dont feel like they work as well or get inbetween my lashes to give me the volume and definition I'm looking for but Loreal hit the nail on the head with this one!!! I've always used that typical pink and green one that everyone's seem to have had at one point in their life haha . I gave in and bought this mascara and OH MYYYY. never buying another mascara . My eyelashes look so full with this and a bit longer ! I mainly love it because of how full it makes my naturally sparse lashes look! And it doesn't crumble ! 👸🏻💕💃🏻💁🏻
I'm a big fan of the Lash Paradise mascara-but only the waterproof version. The regular straightened out my lashes after they had been curled. I love the BTS mascara, but not the price. Everyone's lashes react differently. There are SOOO many hyped mascaras which absolutely don't work for me, so it was nice to find a drugstore mascara which works for me. I totally agree that the Superhero mascara is great but haven't tried Jessica's Essence dupe suggestion.
my personal fave is by covergirl "katy kat eye" ...it's just the right formula for me and it does not transfer onto my eyelid ...i have naturally curly lashes so whenever i open my eyes my lashes touch my skin ...and most mascaras transfer on me but not "katy kat eye" it's awesome!
I went looking for this in Superdrug in the U.K. and they only had the Extatic version, I checked up and read somewhere that the regular one is released in the U.K. this week but it left me a bit confused as I've not heard anyone talk about the Extatic one. I bought it anyway on a 3 for 2 and it's really good, it holds a curl so well, separates lashes and is easy to apply with no issues.
I have naturally long and full eyelashes but they are stick straight 😐. basically all I look for in a mascara is how well it holds the curl I just spent 10 minutes working on and this stuff is AMAZING. I really love it

I've been using Lash Paradise for three months now and I totally love it. The only thing I question is how long the tube, or how short the tube lasted...I am on my second one and feel like I'm almost ready for a third one. After a month it starts to get clumpy in the tube and then feel too dry on my lashes. So I guess I wonder what is the average? How long should you expect your mascara to last? If it's supposed to be three months, this one hasn't lasted very long...
Maybe I'll have to buy another tube and see if it works better. I bought it as soon as it came out, and I felt like the Voluminous actually lengthened better than the Lash Paradise and overall I felt it wasn't great. And I had to apply several layers to get it to look like I had something on my eyes. I actually bought the Keiko mascara at the same time, and I'm IN LOVE with that mascara! But I definitely appreciate your review!
I love this mascara but I found that the bottle dries out very quickly. But it's worth it, I've gotten compliments from my friends that my eyelashes look great! (I've never gotten lash compliments before)
I'm not sure if it's a new camera, or a new setting, new set up or what it may be but you don't seem as sharp/hi-def as you used to be, and I quite like that, you look a lot more soft and natural this way. Or it could very well be just my eyes are tired and not focussed, either way. You look great.
I've found that the gold rubbing off is actually something common with L'Oreal mascara. Not really sure why, but its happened with other marcaras by them for me before
I wonder if it depends which shade of black makes the difference for people loving this mascara so much. I don't remember which one I got but it was just ok. Maybe the formula on another shade would make it a wow mascara. Guess I'll go buy them all and compare.

tbh it's not that great, very clumpy and gives just average results. Have you tried the Voluminous Feline from L'Oreal? It's soooo much better!

I use the waterproof version because my lashes won't hold a curl otherwise and I experience no flaking or smudging (typical of a waterproof version for me at least). I know some commenters are saying it's hard to get off so I think if you don't already incorporate some kind of cleansing oil or oil in general in your skincare routine you will not like the waterproof version. I use Clinique cleansing balm and it takes it off perfectly. My holy grail mascara was the Cover Girl Lash Blast (orange water proof tube) because it gave me length. I discovered the Super Sizer and used that one and loved it for volume. I want to try the non waterproof version for Lash Paradise and see if that will hold up a curl for me.

I bought it & love it!! It does the same job as the more expensive ones. I always use Lancôme waterproof mascara remover with no problem.👌
Hi Jessica! I love this mascara. What I really love about it is if I'm in a hurry I can use it sans eyelash curler. My eyelashes grow down. So I'm always fighting with them to stay up. This formula is amazing. Not a "gloppy" mess lol 😃✌🏼
I got a sample of TFBTS mascara in my Ipsy bag and the same day got the Lash Paradise. I could not tell a difference except that the TF was a wetter formula. I like the Lash Paradise better because of the price and it does the same thing. Loreal nailed it! 👍🏾

I have had really good luck with this mascara. I used to wear Benefit roller lash faithfully for the last 2 years but it always flaked on me. So far even in the summer heat, no flaking! Way less expensive and a better formula!?! I'll take it : )
To those of you having trouble with this mascara, try scraping one side of the brush along the inside when you take it out. It gets rid of the excess product and makes it easier to build up if you need to.

The waterproof might be awfully hard to take off...but it is hands down ACTUALLY waterproof. I found out about a death in the family...and wore it to the funeral!!!...and my lashes never stuck together or fell out. Through BAWLING my eyes out. Incredible to me. I had people asking me constantly what kind I used!

I didn't love it at first but kept hearing how so many do love it! I tried it again & again then realized wiggling the wand back & forth makes it work best! My fave now! To make it even BETTER!!!! Use L'Oréal Telescopic paired with it :))))

I loved it! I bought it about a week ago after seeing a bunch of other people talking about it. I want to try the waterproof one now.
I wear Clinique products but that Mascara is the best I've ever had. I wear the Hydrofudge/Waterproof style and it doesn't come off until you use makeup remover on it. I've not seen it flake or smudge.
This is my favorite, too! Mine was super-dry and thick after only a couple of weeks so I just opened a new one. Might have been a bad tube, who knows? But I'm so happy with it I won't hold it against it. Not sure what the "Mystic Black" would look like, tho...

Have not tried it yet, but I have done this, when mascara is drying up put three drops of eye drops any brand and shake the tube up. I helps remoisten it.
I don't get impressed with a lot of mascaras but I do like this one !
I used to like the BTS by too faced and the pur magnetic mascara, but this mascara beats them out by a long shot. and I do like that it is a dryer formula and it stays all day I absolutely love it

This reminds of the Too Faced Better than Sex, but it doesn't flake on me at all. I have this in blackest black waterproof, and I love it. No mascara has ever been better on my lashes, so I'll definitely be buying tube after tube of this.

This is worth the hype! Best one ive tried in a very long time. The formula is great and it makes my lashes look like i have on falsies. I dont typically go for the older style bristle brushes cause i dont feel like they work as well or get inbetween my lashes to give me the volume and definition I'm looking for but Loreal hit the nail on the head with this one!!! I have found the tip I saw online works well,, add about 4 drops of eye drops to the mascara when it starts now being so moist.

I've always used that typical pink and green one that everyone's seem to have had at one point in their life haha . I gave in and bought this mascara and OH MYYYY. never buying another mascara . My eyelashes look so full with this and a bit longer ! I mainly love it because of how full it makes my naturally sparse lashes look! And it doesn't crumble ! 👸🏻💕💃🏻💁🏻

I'm a big fan of the Lash Paradise mascara-but only the waterproof version. The regular straightened out my lashes after they had been curled. I love the BTS mascara, but not the price. Everyone's lashes react differently. There are SOOO many hyped mascaras which absolutely don't work for me, so it was nice to find a drugstore mascara which works for me. I totally agree that the Superhero mascara is great but haven't tried Jessica's Essence dupe suggestion.
my personal fave is by covergirl "katy kat eye" ...it's just the right formula for me and it does not transfer onto my eyelid ...i have naturally curly lashes so whenever i open my eyes my lashes touch my skin ...and most mascaras transfer on me but not "katy kat eye" it's awesome!
I went looking for this in Superdrug in the U.K. and they only had the Extatic version, I checked up and read somewhere that the regular one is released in the U.K. this week but it left me a bit confused as I've not heard anyone talk about the Extatic one. I bought it anyway on a 3 for 2 and it's really good, it holds a curl so well, separates lashes and is easy to apply with no issues.

I have naturally long and full eyelashes but they are stick straight 😐. basically all I look for in a mascara is how well it holds the curl I just spent 10 minutes working on and this stuff is AMAZING. I really love it

I love this mascara, but I love the butterfly effect one more (I even got the butterfly one in green and another color for the bottom lash line)
I've been using Lash Paradise for three months now and I totally love it. The only thing I question is how long the tube, or how short the tube lasted...I am on my second one and feel like I'm almost ready for a third one. After a month it starts to get clumpy in the tube and then feel too dry on my lashes. So I guess I wonder what is the average? How long should you expect your mascara to last? If it's supposed to be three months, this one hasn't lasted very long...

Maybe I'll have to buy another tube and see if it works better. I bought it as soon as it came out, and I felt like the Voluminous actually lengthened better than the Lash Paradise and overall I felt it wasn't great. And I had to apply several layers to get it to look like I had something on my eyes. I actually bought the Keiko mascara at the same time, and I'm IN LOVE with that mascara! But I definitely appreciate your review!
I love this mascara but I found that the bottle dries out very quickly. But it's worth it, I've gotten compliments from my friends that my eyelashes look great! (I've never gotten lash compliments before)
I'm not sure if it's a new camera, or a new setting, new set up or what it may be but you don't seem as sharp/hi-def as you used to be, and I quite like that, you look a lot more soft and natural this way. Or it could very well be just my eyes are tired and not focussed, either way. You look great.

I've found that the gold rubbing off is actually something common with L'Oreal mascara. Not really sure why, but its happened with other marcaras by them for me before
I LOVED IT at first and by the end of the first month it was as thick as pudding. TheBalm Mad Lash reigns supreme.
I wonder if it depends which shade of black makes the difference for people loving this mascara so much. I don't remember which one I got but it was just ok. Maybe the formula on another shade would make it a wow mascara. Guess I'll go buy them all and compare.
