Maneater from Tarter does the job for me, I know waterproof mascara holds the curl but I don't like it for every day. The Tarter one is great, not too wet, not too dry, hold the curl and its easy to remove.
i have the same exact issue! my lashes just don't hold up the curl and im kinda scared to try waterproof mascara cause i always see girl complaining about how hard it is to take off

ouo I find the mascara to be heavy for my lashes. The moment I put it on, my lashes will lose their curl instantly even if I've curled them well. So if your eyelashes struggle to hold a curl I don't really recommend it.

I love Too Faced better than sex mascara but I'm almost out and regarding the drama that's going on with them, I will not be purchasing any products from them so this makes me very, very happy 😊

Kassi just google jeffree star too faced and there are plenty of articles about the current scandal.
Kassi the way too faced treated Nikki tutorials with the collab palettes. The one they sent her and PR to influencers was better quality than the one they actually sold to consumers. She was also paid about 50K and they made about 9 million in sales on it but most people were upset by the poor quality if the product.
I feel so bad for Nikki :( she does not deserve the bad press she's been getting for MONTHS for a product TF totally bombed. Totally looks like they took advantage of her. 💔

Exactly! My lower lashes are also super long and touch my skin under my eyes so if it's not waterproof I am a raccoon within an hour
I've noticed that (for some reason) companies don't release waterproof formulas until later... like, they will release the regular version, then a few months later, introduce the waterproof formula? So don't get too upset if once this hits the shelves you don't see a waterproof one right away - keep an eye out! :)

Since it's been out for awhile, I doubt she will.. so I just wanted to say I didn't like it. I bought into all the other youtubers talking about and didn't find it did much at all.Nothing better than an Essence Mascara at least

Always open your mascara for a bit so it gets better and isn't so wet!

I think the Too Faced one is overrated, I've tried and it all clumps my lashes, and stamps everywhere, plus if you have watery eyes the panda effect is behind the corner

i feel you. i don't own the mascara, but i don't really understand the hype because it doesn't make your lashes look natural. although i am VERY picky when it comes to mascara and want my lashes to look as natural as possible
Riley Garrett Because it's not supposed to be a natural mascara in the first place,on the contrary it should give "a false lash"effect.You can't really judge a product by holding it to a standard it's not marketed towards.🙄

Riley Garrett You know there are other women in the world,right?It's not like what you want is the same as everyone else or even if it should be. There are also plenty of different types of mascaras to suit everyone's taste. I find a bit stupid to judge a product you never owned because it doesn't do something it never claimed to do in the first place.

I would love to know how long the L'Oréal one lasts. I feel like I had to buy a new Better Than Sex mascara every month because it would dry out VERY quickly.
Kayla you can get the mascara to its original form by putting it in warm water for a few mins :)

The Too Faced BTS looked blacker though, and even though it was drooping I still preferred that side, it just looked overall more polished. To me, the length doesn't matter as much if the lash tips are pointing in different directions like spider legs. Personal preference though. Loved the vid! 😍💖
I'm so glad someone mentioned you doing a dupe on the Loreal and after you put on the first coat or even while you were putting it on, I was sold. The lashes you amazing, thank you so much doing this as I don't like to waste money on the hype of a new product. Just beautiful on you

I'm a total L'Oreal mascara junkie, first the telescopic, I get the length you're talking about from it, it's a fine brush and it grabs each and every little lash, then the Voluminous for thickening. Can't wait to try this new one!!! Great find and dupe sharing!

Tbh I knew the L'Oreal would win because Too Faced quality is AWFULLLLLL now. It's so spotty and weird. I bought the Better Than Sex and returned it the same day because it was flaking into my eyes and didn't impress me at all. I like my L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black way better. It ALWAYS delivers. 💖

I love the way Better Than Sex looks, but it always, ALWAYS smudges under my eyes. No matter how I prep my undereyes. Disappointing, because it does look beautiful. I hope the L'Oréal performs better.

YESSSS!!! I agree!! I brought it like literally 2 days ago because the packaging caught my attention and there were only 5 of them left which is shocking because my local Walgreens always has make up in stock. Then I tried it and I COMPLETELY fell in love with it. My eyelashes are long and really straight. And it keeps my eyelashes up all day and soo beautiful!! & whereas I had the Better than Sex mascara and I remember that I only used it 2 times because it was so disappointing on how it didn't keep my eyelashes up. clanna bob L'Oréal has been cruelty free for many many years(as long as competitors) and also there is a huge sustainable effort for the environment. please take a look at their website and do some recent research before stating these things. that's the exact reason why things are so untrustable on the internet

it is cruelty free, you can check it out on their website in the FAQ's, only the ones sold in China aren't because of some regulation laws they have in the country
PurplePeople Almost every brand that test says they are cruelty free on their website. Loreal is 100% not cruelty free. Do some research on Google and you'll see.
L'Oréal isnt cruelty free, because they also sell this products in China! Doesnt matter if the ones sold in us, europe etc are not tested in animals if the ones sold in China are. If you buy the products you are still feeding their industry around the World, including their bussiness in China. (if the english is not 100% correct, im sorry im portuguese)

I tried a travel size cause of all the hype it gets and I used it ONCE and gave it away. Within 2 hours of applying it, it flaked so bad on my face my family noticed it. Plus, it smudged more then any mascara I've ever used in the last 20+ years. For me, it's the worst mascara and with drama now I'm not sad I won't be using it.
Personally I think the mascara is OKAY, the regular one flakes and the waterproof one is Impossible to get off...but I couldn't support a company that treats people the wrong way anyways! Bobbi Brown makes a fantastic mascara! :)

Gigi May Well that means they'd be in huge risk if they lied to their customers. In the whole Nikki scandal, they weren't lying to anyone, just hiding a lot. Hopefully Estee Lauder's ownership doesn't change anything and if so, I hope they can be clear to us about it! 😬

all these people shading too faced because of the drama, l'oréal tortures thousands and thousands of animals to their death. to me, i would rather support a lil more dramatic company than a company that kills and tortures bunnies, cats, dogs, etc.

Brandon Hui I think she can make that decision for herself. While there is a lot of controversy right now nothing has been proven in court so... I think it's up to her whether or not she wants to continue to use them.
Gigi May Ummm......At least the owner of Too Faced tried to attack other brand is a fact. As a high end brand with inconsistent product quality is not acceptable IMO. It's definetely up to her. But based on the Tati experience, I don't think right now is an appropriate time to talk with more TooFaced product.

That's crazy! The Loreal looks a lot better! Usually it's very hard to see a difference on camera between any two mascaras but you can really see it here.
Not finding this Loreal dupe at Target here in Los Angeles, yet. Can't wait to try it. I actually love Lancome Hypnose Drama for length and volume, and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes, for a natural but better look.
