- The wind direction was from south-west and the visibility was reduced due to the rain. Nevertheless pilots did the best work in order to land and takeoff safely.

Your camera angle gives a true perspective of the angle those planes are coming in at. A lot better than some other footage out there. Pity you can't zoom and follow some. Good work.

Hope the passagnet in that first one had a change of clothes. I remember the first time coming into Lanzarote and seeing sea and then suddenly seeing the runway it was a lovely day but can imagine it otherwise

Instead of being 03-21 this runway should have been contructed as 08-26 at least.

Runways should be constructed oriented to prevailing winds. The runway number tells you towards wich magnetic heading the runway is oriented, in this case 03-21 means one side towards 030º and the opposite towards 210º. In this video aircrafts are landing on runway 21 but the wind comes from the right maybe from 260º and most videos I’ve seen from this airport aircrafts are always landing or taking off in strong cross winds. I’ve never been there, but the fame of this airport makes me think that the runway is not oriented towards prevailing winds, that’s why I think should have been constructed with orientation on one end towards 080º and obviously the opposite towards 260º more or less! 😉
Trex531 you might want to look at the terrain map of the area to see what a 08 approach would look like! 03 is normally fairly into wind, 21 operations at ACE are fairly infrequent.
