Congratulations on your new baby girl!!! All the best of health and prosperity, and solid review. Couldn't agree more owning the M3P and having driven a Model S Plaid and Highland 3 back to back
Taking delivery of my reengineered M3 LR stealth grey black interior on Monday !!!🎉🎉🎉 Super excited. No words 🤗🤗 can't wait to be part of the Tesla family and enjoy this amazing tech on wheels Phoenix AZ
First off congratulations on your new addition. Second off I’ve watched probably close to 100 of the 2024 Tesla Model 3 reviews. And I have to say I enjoyed yours very much. Comprehensive, objective, and the fact that you compared it to a Model S which what everybody has been saying is what Tesla was aiming for with this refresh… Really really helped me justify the fact that I’m two weeks away from delivery. Thank you so much!
Congrats on the family front! You always create quality content, can't wait for V12 vids once out, I guess 12.3 could and should hit your car soon. Surprised you channel still hasn't kicked off further given the content, the articulate expression and the quality of video and audio.
Much appreciated, I'm considering this car for my next vehicle purchase. Edit: I see you're in the "don't freak out when people do selfish and stupid things on the road" club, my membership ebbs and flows in this group but props lol.
🤣 it happens so often here you just gotta stay calm. But definitely test drive the car when ready feel free to use our referral code for your demo drive if you'd like.
Congratulations on the baby! On the Model 3, what do you think about the elimination of “creep” and “roll”? How do you move forward or backward 2-3 inches in a tight spot? It’s hard with just the accelerator.
Thank you! I think Tesla is doing too much at times removing features. They should've kept the options that make people feel comfortable. That said, the throttle is very precise and if you need to move a few inches you can do so n easily it may just take some practice.
Amazing review as always! I'm super happy about the softer suspension and hopefully more comfortable seats. I have to say I'm not a fan of the fabric on high touch areas like the doors. Very difficult to clean and will get gross over time.
Thanks, the seats are very comfortable and suspension is next level for the 3. The fabric won't get messy and hides dust better than non-textile surface. However, if you have clothes that rub against it often you will get the lint balls bit that's easily restored.
It's reported Tesla have introduced a refined yoke wheel where the horn is now in the centre and the material is a lot tougher. Supposedly a retrofit for those who'd want it. Do you see yourself getting it? Congrats on the baby girl and glad to have you back
Thank you! Yes I've seen it and may get it. I've never had an issue with the durability of the material (no peeling for us). However the horn and new configuration of buttons is compelling. We will see.
If I got it before you then I knew you would get it within the hour. You always get updates before me. Tried it out only made one error. Did not get in right turning lane so I had to take over, we are getting closer but still not quite there.
Coming from a standard car setup I wonder what would bother me forever and what I’d get used to and forget about. It’s a big purchase so it makes me a bit conservative. Lack of stalks, instrument cluster, blindspot monitor in the mirror, no carplay and having 1/3 of the screen taken up with a view of the cars around you. I know I can solve some issues with aftermarket products if I want, but some things you can’t. Price is the thing that keeps me coming back to look at Tesla.
Great question. Coming from a regular car, it's going to be an adjustment for all the things you mentioned. If you want an easier transition, I'd recommend the Model S. However I'd your budget is aligned with the 3 I can say that you can get used to the change fairly quick and it's shortcomings are overshadowed by how great of a ride and cabin you're in.
I drove top of line Infiniti sedans for 30 years. I leased a 2021 Model 3LR in early 2021 and by the time I drove from the delivery lot to home I was almost positive I had made the right decision. After my first 100 mile trip to the farm I noticed I felt better getting out of the Tesla than any of my Infinitis, no leg or back unwinding required. I just ordered the 2024 Model 3 LR last week.
Oh, the only adjustment I needed was not worrying about oil changes, filters, or finding a gas station with a fair price. Using overnight home charging my electric bill only changed about $3-$5 a month.
Im Glad that you said that it felt more premium because i feel like people mix up premium and luxury alot Tesla as a brand is premium their cars arent luxury and theres a difference between premium and luxury
💯 that's what I was trying to convey. However, as I mentioned, some of the elements of luxury are status and by that token having a Tesla is a status symbol so people may use that to say "luxury" brand.
new model 3 is just great. i just drove it the other day . but i wouldnt rush to ugrade to it if i had older model 3, to me it isn't woth it. as cars are pretty much same.
Agreed if you have an older model 3 and you're content then stay put. If you're due for a new one or you have a business with your M3 it's strongly recommended
the hype is not real, the car is just far better than 99% of cars in same price range. oh and there is little thing called supercharger. EVgo and EA are most tortuous. Try them if they work.
Well that's exactly what the hype is about. It being significantly better than its competition, so it's real in that regard. Is it the best Tesla ever? Does it make the Model S obsolete? Absolutely not. BUT it is a very good car and adds much needed premium feel at an accessible price point.
Dude, if you could do more, 100k subscribers is possible. Think Dirty Tesla. This may help $$$. We love your content. Extra $$$ is good but a real day job is better as social media MONEY is fickleness
Thank you, but we do this for the Tesla community, and we do it when we have time but family and business first. We will try to post more, though, to give you more of what you guys want.
This video was shot 2 weeks ago but was only able to upload it today, which is when Tesla released v12 wide! 😄Videos coming soon!

Thanks for the well wishes and comment. You won't regret it, it's an excellent car and you will want to drive often.

Thanks for the kind words. We have 12.3 as I type filming some videos. Will post soon!
Nice.
very great review. Very solid. I think you coming out of an S and showing it in the video was a solid choice to make, and help draw me in as viewer.
Thanks for the feedback much appreciated 👏🏾
Best review so far. Solid.
Thank you

Have you experienced much phantom breaking in the new 3?
BRO I didn’t know you were a dad, huge congratulations on the baby girl man! 🥹
Also, I love the new Model 3! 😭
Thank you

@@BlackTesla Not to mention that it's purely a software fix. No reason to remove those.
Happy Days. Congratulations to you and your family. Hope mom is feeling good. Love fills your house.
Thank you!
Thank you

Congratulations on the kiddo!
Thanks
Very good review, especially comparing to the refresh model s
👍🏾
how come FSD was not complaining in your S? If i take the hands off the steering wheel it starts crying in 5 seconds in my MY
🤷🏾♂️

Congratulations on your babygirl!!
Thank you
Great review. As someone who is looking to jump to Tesla from an Accord Hybrid, I really appreciate your thoughts on this car.
You will love it coming from the accord
does the 2024 model 3 have that dash digital screen too? I really like it. Oh the first car you were driving was a different Tesla.
It doesnt it just has the 1 screen in front. The car I was driving first was the model S it had 2 screens in front
Congrats on baby
I’m in Georgia and got v12 this morning.
Congrats
If I got it before you then I knew you would get it within the hour. You always get updates before me.
Tried it out only made one error. Did not get in right turning lane so I had to take over, we are getting closer but still not quite there.
You sound exactly like the RUclipsr Flossy Carter and have same energy and the way you deliver. ( Not a bad thing )
Haha I was at Springfield driving that exact area for a dashboard rattle :(
😁

I’m 25 and I think long range is perfect, I think I’d get in trouble with the performance 😂

It’s been awhile
Back like we never left
the turn signals are not clicky, what the hell are you talking about? They're haptic feedback only
Sorry you are incorrect. The yoke first iteration is haptic, the new 3 wheel is tactile buttons. Try it for yourself.
new model 3 is just great. i just drove it the other day . but i wouldnt rush to ugrade to it if i had older model 3, to me it isn't woth it. as cars are pretty much same.

Its not called the highland
Sure is, it's Tesla's internal designation/code name. New Model S was Palladium, New Model 3 is Highland, and New Model Y is Juniper.
What does "leaps and bounds" mean?
www.dictionary.com/browse/by--leaps--and--bounds
