Posselts envelope of motion:
Described by Dr. Posselt
He described 3-dimensional movement of mandble in 3-planes
1. Sagittal
2. Frontal
3. Horizontal
these movements are called border movements as they detail the maximum movement of mandible in all these 3 planes
The shape of posselt's envelop of motion in each plane is:
Sagittal - Beak shaped
Frontal - Shield shaped
Horizontal - Diamond shaped

3:45 a question at the video said translation movement is 25 mm to 25 mm
the rotation is 20-25 mm
but at the end you said the total maximum mandibular movement is 50-60 mm
so actually you mean translation is 25-35 mm, so it will both add to sum become 50-60
Is it correct ?
