Ella has beautiful olive skin, it's so sad that because this is a Tim Burton movie they made her as pale as a ghost. Also, what the heck was that they did with her character? That's not Emma, that's Kim from Edward Scissor Hands. Asa and Eva look like they are related though.
Just saw the movie and I think I got it now why they decided to switch Emma and Olive's peculiarity: it's because of Olive's part in the 3rd book. Since Emma is a bigger, more important character, they decided to switch them up.
Tim Burton explained in an interview that he decided to switch Emma and Olive's powers, because it would be more romantic for Emma to have the air power. 😊
My favourite movie ever i saw it 4 times at the cinema and watched it just. Eva is amazing im everything she does (cracks, golden compass, penny dreadful, 300) SHES GORGEOUS, different and lovely. And Asa is also a fab actor
He is his own grandpa, hence why everyone confused him for his grandpa. His grandpa knew every action he should take because it was his past self, his whole life stays in a loop because he goes back into the loop in the end with Emma. Also it says that peculiarities often skip certain people in the family; why his dad(also his son((who just happened to BIRD watch)) was not peculiar but led hints to of it because all of the Ymbrynes were birds. Why do you think it was his dad to go to the island and not his mom? The movie is a constant loop in itself.
tim burton's ruins it. yeah there actually a sequel it called hollow city but i dont know if the movie will have a sequel because tim changes it...just read the book
In the books Emma is so energetic, tomboyish and cool female character and in the movie they made her typical Tim Burton chick - fragile and pale with no fire in her, I hate it : (
i wish they kept Emma's fierceness and sarcastic personality cause jacobs personality was sarcastic too and it just made me laugh cause they were perfect for eachother haha
I loved this movie so much that i have the dvd of it ( I went to the cinema with my parents but without my sister because she was too little so as we watched it in 3D , HOLY i got scared but it was Awesome ☺️☺️)
