Fire storm herald barbarian with battle master fighter with unarmed for combos or maybe champ for unarmed and dueling since he does have a sword, maybe just fire barbarian
@@budinhapalmieri Sol doesn't really rage, he's more jaded and annoyed than angry. Potemkin or Baiken would make good barbarians though. Guilty Gear magic comes from skill, so I could see most characters from that being fighter wizard easily enough, although draconic soul sorcerer would also make a lot of sense for Sol. It would also be interesting to try and limit the use of the monk class only to characters canonically using ki (May, Chipp, Kliff, Baiken, Jam, Anji, and I guess any from Rev2 I didn't know about.)
@@Nasko_Nikolov Kensei monk (6) and berserker barbarian (14) would be my first idea, but there's certainly a few other ways to do it. (The 14 levels in berserker get her a counterattack, and many of Baiken's moves require her to defend to attack. Although frenzy gives you exhaustion levels, it fits that EX mode she used to have where her health slowly drained. The kensei levels give her magical damage, step of the wind, and patient defence, although you can certainly risk only taking 4 for an extra ASI as the odds of the DM giving you magic items are usually quite good.)
Champion fighter to get both unarmed and dueling (thank Buda Palmieri for that, it was their idea) plus draconic soul sorcerer red dragon, lots of fire magic, haste, and jump. For Ky I want to say a paladin wizard because the flavour is correct, but he'd have to be MAD (INT for lightning spells, CHA for paladin requirements, STR to simply be allowed to mix them, meaning DEX isn't gonna be as good as it maybe should be for him) and that's never good. You could make him a sorcerer as well, but Ky studies magic like most people in the GG universe, despite later changes he didn't simply have it like gears do. Eldritch knight could also work but his lightning stuff wouldn't be as good. Chipp would be easy, just mix shadow monk and assassin rogue, because his attempts to be president certainly do smack of only costing 25GP and a week's work ;)

Missed out on the chance to say "Shoot that gun with all your swagger." but overall great video and a fun character to play if you dont like min max builds. Never saw the first upload so thank you for re-uploading it.
Rick not having any "magic damage" to just start chopping up Imhotep was a great plot-point. They had to actually FIGURE OUT how to beat him WHILE THEY WERE FIGHTING HIM. They're great for this sort of thing.
I was wondering why this came up again. Well, as I mentioned on the original, Tasha's gives 2nd level Monks Dedicated Weapon, to make a single martial weapon (or simple ranged weapon) into a monk weapon for them, which can be changed on a short rest. So, whether guns are crossbows or not, he should be able to use them well.
Kind of surprised that we didn't make him a ranger, rougue, flavoring all the magical spells as the different weapons he uses. Not that the build is wrong in anyway I just considered it would be an interesting alternative build for the character
