    Very good video and review of Royal Enfield Classic 500.
    I bought the younger one of this. The Royal Enfield CLASSIC 350 CC , here in Cebu City Philippines Royal Enfield Gorordo Branch. It was 2 days ago March 7 ,2024.
    Yes you are right! It is a gorgeous looking bike and excellent in performance. Very safe to maneuver, so comfortable even in everyday city traffic commuting and long distance cruising. Lastly very economical in fuel.
    What a fun to ride with my Royal Enfield CLASSIC 350 CC. CHROME RED model!
    AWESOME MOTORCYCLE!

    Typically underselling the RE 500, it is capabale of a lot more, in fact quite a workhorse. Lots of reviewers spending a few hours on the bike which isn't fully run in and then portraying it as a bike with lots of limitations for pensioners who want to potter about on a Sunday morning. Not the case at all.

    • @FenTour
      @FenTour  4 года назад +1

      For me to purchase one of these I will need more time, I have been neglecting one of my bikes and need more time to ride. Yes yes I need to be a pensioner...

    Bullet needs to go past beyond break in period to go to top performance in speed or pickup or least vibration rides.

    Enjoyable review unlike some reviewers that don't seem to appreciate an Enfield is what it is and expect to run as smooth with no miles on the clock. Unrefined but well behaved. Maybe like me, riders of GSers seem to respect it for what it is not what it isn't.

    Really enjoyed re watching this video, I saw one at a bike meet today and just wanted to recap what its all about. Around £4,200 brand new thats really impressive I see a few for sale now, I wouldn't have it in any other colour though this colour scheme works really well. Fun watching you handle the yellow brick road [or rather brown brick road]

Your roads look delightful. My idea of a vacation as I approach my 74th birthday next year would be a ride with you on these roads. We have few roads like that left here in the U.S. Camera work is great, too. Love that Insta360. I own one, but have yet to use it....

    If those mirrors were long enough to work as mirrors they would vibrate like helicopter blades and the thing might take off. They are already shaking as they are. If only that model had a balancer like the 350.

    also, self-canceling turn signals (indicators) should be required on all motorcycles by now. It's very dangerous leaving them on unintentionally, and people do it all the time. I can't believe here in the U.S. we've had a mandatory headlight-on law for nearly 50 years, but not canceling signals.

    • @FenTour
      @FenTour  2 года назад +1

      Indeed, but many bikes don’t have such, including my new Honda!

    • @bultacowally
      @bultacowally Год назад

      Sure then the manufacturers will add a couple hundred more to the MSRP...Just freaking pay attention to your riding instead of yapping on the phone or some other communication device. You look to be an old fuck like me if you recall there were no turn signals on many motorcycles back when we first started out we had to use hand signals...or did you forget about that too????

    I have one. Liked the review you sussed it . Rider cam TV did a terrible review of it going on about vibes but it was new . It's a classic, not a retro so it has "character,." 😃 but very nice if you don't thrash it expecting a cb500 type motor! Well done for a realistic ride.

You're right on I just want exactly what this bike provides and nothing more or less. They really are the all round gentleman's bike for all purpose use, made at a time when the priorities were very different and the bigger is better marketing hype was non-existent, and common sense ruled the day. As far as touring goes, check out The Bullet Wanderer he's toured extentsively.
