I knew him in the 1980s. Saw him in a few plays and I would go back stage. Originally met him when he came to dine at a Beverly Hills, Ca restaurant I managed and from then on he always phoned ahead and asked for me to make a reservation. Always loved his acting and his looks. Who gives a damn about their sexual preference, he was always nice to me.
Gorgeous man. I feel it’s a pity the question of sexuality is still such a big deal. Whatever, he was gorgeous. I don’t see why being a younger man is thought of as so suspect with regards to older women. We are way more complex than that old fashioned social clap trap. One thing I’d have liked you to mention is that he had an eye condition that was extremely effective in his acting, it made his eyes, specifically his pupils, move constantly, rapidly. He did find it exhausting trying to control it. But it certainly added a something to his look. What a man. And privacy is also about keeping other peoples secrets as well.
@@deedeeotero4475 The condition is called nystagmus, it causes the eyes to move involuntarily. Strange name but it’s fascinating. I think it would be exhausting.

Frank was more heterosexual than homosexual. His book states that. He was married to Ruth & has 2 wonderful children from that marriage & he dated far more women before & after his marriage. Anyway, I think it's a darned shame to raise this issue now when Frank is in his eighties.
They never mentioned Frank's long frienship with Whoopi Goldberg. I knew him then, as I brought him some of my homebaked cookies, backstage, after his play in Los Angeles and he said, I will share these cookies with Whoopi.
I always thought he was very sexy and handsome and enjoyed his work. And it shouldn’t make a difference if he is by sexual gay or straight I really don’t care that doesn’t come in to Him being a good actor
One of my favorite actors. I've seen many of his TV performances, films, and I got to see him in a few Broadway plays. At least twice, I had the pleasure of meeting him and even took a photo with him! He's in his 80s now, but still is sexy to me as he was in his younger days. His memoir, "Dropped Names: Famous Men and Women As I Knew Them," is very interesting reading. Lastly, a correction. "The 12 Chairs" is the name of the Mel Brooks film he did from 1970, not "The 12 Years."
Actually, I believe that he did mention it. He spoke of Frank's having had a 5-year relationship. I'm sure that it was the one with Whoopi, but he didn't mention her by name. I think that their relationship began when they did the film, "Eddie."
He was a very sexy Dracula. Usually an actor playing Dracula was not very sexy. Gary Oldman was another one that was attractive. I enjoyed Frank Langella 's acting.
He looked like the ballerina RUDOLPH NUREYEV WHEN HE WAS YOUNG, HE HAD THAT SEXY LOOK, REST IN PEACE RUDOLPH,🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷💫💫💫💫💫🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🌠🌠💖💖💖💖💖🌠🌠🌠⭐⭐⭐😘😘😘💙🐦 AMEN
I really liked him in the 1979 movie Dracula . His portrayal of Dracula is how i always thought Dracula is. I remember the seeing the movie trailer on t.v. it scared me. I was to young at the time to see it in the theaters. I love horror movies & wish i did see Dracula in the movie theater. I was 15 when Dracula was playing in the movie theater My parents would not let me see "R" rated movies
Big deal. Let people be who they are, as long as they're not hurting others. He's a great actor, whomever he loves or has loved. He doesn't appear to have a heart full of hateful judgement, which is enough to make his fans happy. 😉
What a hottie, especially when his eyes jumped like Mexican beans. That was hypnotic. I don't care if he was gay Chacun a son gout! As for liking older women, we know how to train those puppies into the delights of the boudoir. Experience counts more than looks.
I believe he was let go from a production recently when a considerable younger female cast member accused Frank of sexual harassment. Perhaps his taste is changing as at 85 it's hard to find older women.
The incident occurred when he and the actress were embracing as part of rehearsal. She accused him of touching her inappropriately. It sounds suspect - like some no-name actress trying to me-to her way to fame.
I dont believe this discussion of his sexuality is needed. He is deceased and does it really matter. People have a right to their privacy, not everyone wants the public to know their business.
Please stop! He is hands down my favorite Dracula. I prayed for years that he would come through my window in the night and seduce me. So this video is stupid and I feel like you are trying to taint him. He is what he is a fabulous smart gorgeous actor. ❤❤
He was quite beautiful kind of like Keanu Reeves so I can see how there could be rumors about him being gay now he is older distinguish minus that lovely hair and and of course now it wouldn't matter if he was gay now for the most part but he probably wasn't you know I'm just wondering if he paid you some money hey why don't you to remind everybody just how beautiful I used to be still very handsome but not beautiful
Usually a big fan of Age of Vintage but this episode was poor, mean, and badly written. Past episodes rely on attributed quotations from people but this one was full of conjecture and snide commentary. As with other commentators, his sexuality is immaterial; even beyond that, though, it felt like this was written by somebody else. Cheap and unnecessary! One more episode like that and it's unsubscribe for good.
Yes! He is as the Greatest “Dracula” since Bela because he was sensuous… But my favorite Frank Langella movie - which might say more about him as he ad libbed line - was the end of “Those Lips Those Eyes” when he summed up why he was never disappointed in Life: “There’s always a Prettier Girl. There’s always a Bigger Part”
At this day and age, who really cares what his sexual orientation might be? 🤷♀️
I knew him in the 1980s. Saw him in a few plays and I would go back stage.

@eveyh333, I like your comment on what you said 10/10👍✌️☮️☯️💖 from 🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮👋,
@@imsocuteimsorich4952 thank you.
Well said!
I agree
❤EXACTLY !
Who gives a damn, he played a hell of a "Dracula", a hell of a "Dracula" 💯%
He was a wonderful Dracula.
Oh my god, the sexiest Dracula ever!
True i agree 👍✌🕊
Frank Lan-jella, not a hard g. He's alive and 85 years old.
Thanks. That is how I long have pronounced his surname.

yes, I noticed as well... thought he was somehow doing that intentionally for the character.

I agree. Why so much interest in what a human does in private?
Frank was more heterosexual than homosexual. His book states that. He was married to Ruth & has 2 wonderful children from that marriage & he dated far more women before & after his marriage.
Anyway, I think it's a darned shame to raise this issue now when Frank is in his eighties.
Even more of a darn shame to 'cancel' him in his eighties. Bravo to him for not going down without a fight.
I enjoyed Langella as an actor.
They never mentioned Frank's long frienship with Whoopi Goldberg. I knew him then, as I brought him some of my homebaked cookies, backstage, after his play in Los Angeles and he said, I will share these cookies with Whoopi.
I have a friend who knew him before and after Whoopi. He claims she changed him for the better.
What a wonderful voice he had !!!!!😁🇬🇧
I know this sounds weird but I wish they go back to keeping you sexuality very private.
I always thought he was very sexy and handsome and enjoyed his work. And it shouldn’t make a difference if he is by sexual gay or straight I really don’t care that doesn’t come in to Him being a good actor

Thank you for mentioning The Twelve Chairs! My favorite comedy 🤣
Also, you left off his long term relationship with Whoopi Goldberg
🤢
🤢🤢
Watched Doomsday Gun just a few weeks ago, and The Ninth Gate quite recently too. A fine actor.
The Ninth Gate was the best movie Johnny Depp ever made.
Why didn't you cover that Frank had a 5 year relationship with Whoopi Goldberg 🤷♀️
too true. She always liked handsome men.
Actually, I believe that he did mention it. He spoke of Frank's having had a 5-year relationship. I'm sure that it was the one with Whoopi, but he didn't mention her by name. I think that their relationship began when they did the film, "Eddie."
@@teel714 Why didn’t he mention her name though?
You didn’t mention his relationship w/Whoopi Goldberg.
I just posted the same thing .
I thought they had married and divorced?
@@beverlybanks8139 I don’t believe they married but they were together for a while.
Didn't mention his 19 yr marriage to Ruth Weil & their two children either.
Whoopie & Frank weren't married. The relationship only lasted approx 5 years.
Read Langella’s book “Dropped Names”
Twelve Chairs ! Still one of my favorite comedies. 🥰
Loved seeing the stills from the stage “Dracula.”
Just never could understand him with Goldberg 😳😳
The paper bag industry generously sponsored him.
@annairwin8147 RIGHT HE WAS SO GOOD LOOKING/ SHES JUST NASTY INSIDE AN OUT...
At this day and age it's nobodies business regardless if you famous or not.
I use to be very in love with Frank from afar of course.
He was a very sexy Dracula. Usually an actor playing Dracula was not very sexy. Gary Oldman was another one that was attractive. I enjoyed Frank Langella 's acting.

You're saying his name wrong.
Incredibly irritating
I always thought he was so sexy 😍
I'm surprised you never mentioned his relationship with Whoopi Goldberg.
I loved him in the ninth gate with Johnny Depp
So frank didn’t meet princess margaret” ….
it would be nice if they pronounced his name correctly.

❤️him! Most people can swing 2 ways just to conflicted. Try the ninth gate he performs with Johnnie Dept(sp) a great movie and sleeper.

Best Dracula ever! Stunning. Polite and charming gentleman.

My crush in high school.
What is your source material?
I was not sure who Frank Langella was, much less his sexual orientation.
The bot claims that Elizabeth Taylor was 69, but fails to mention that Frank was merely 6 years younger.
I dont believe this discussion of his sexuality is needed. He is deceased and does it really matter. People have a right to their privacy, not everyone wants the public to know their business.
He is not dead. He is very alive.
...are you kidding with this?

WHO CARES IF HE WAS HE'S AN AWESOME ACTOR ❤️💕😘😍🥰💋💋💋💋💋
He's married with two children. He's definitely not gay lol
Love him!❤😊
I was confused slightly in the day..but, HE WAS DRACULA to me..but he never sucked anything around me..I would have remembered…😮😅
Got better as he got older
Frank is alive
Married to Ruth Weil.
Does one pronounces his surname
Lang•GEL•a? Or Lan•JEL•a?
Love him in The Ninth Gate
I don't think he gay
Don't know about Frank, but Skeletor is obviously gay, and totally gay for He-Man (who is also a massive bender).
Please stop! He is hands down my favorite Dracula. I prayed for years that he would come through my window in the night and seduce me. So this video is stupid and I feel like you are trying to taint him. He is what he is a fabulous smart gorgeous actor. ❤❤
Lan-gella pronounce it correctly. Please
Sadly, why can't men just be men and have a normal attraction to women anymore.......the way it should be....and is!
Gays always existed. Ask the Greeks and Romans! It's absolutely natural. Many animals are too
These are so funny.
Very nice..
I'm unsubscribing. I can't take all the mispronunciations
