You are soooo right about the obsessive commitment to make your business better! Most people do not throw their heart and soul into their passion. I am a strong believer that you need to live and breathe your passion to give yourself the best chance to succeed. Then the magic really starts to happen. The rest of the world sees it as "luck," but we overachievers know better. Thanks for another great video!
I've been working on my shop for the last year but hadn't settled on a niche. Now I've realized I have 2 completely different products (very different audiences) that sell well, but I'm afraid to open a 2nd shop with one category of those products because it won't have any orders or ratings. I have almost 300 sales and dozens of 4-5 star ratings. I feel like most people don't browse around my shop anyway, but just buy through the search results.
Great video and info, thank you very much. To the point and especially taking that reality check that it's a marathon and don't lose hope. Appreciate the time you put into your vids.
Can you tell me your POV about my shop, I do POD of posters with and without frames or Canvas, I joined Etsy in March 2024 and so far I have made 61 sales... I don't know if it is actually a good start or just normal. With the ads I decided to show only my bestseller for 3$ at day. For the keywords I use Everbee and I check what other successful shops use. So, so far how am I doing?
That’s what everyone said about Amazon and drop shipping on Shopify 4 years ago but both are still around and people are still killing it. I just don’t think e-commerce and general is going away anytime soon.
Hey Hannah thanks for your guidance, really valuable. I have one query , if i am selling a cutting board ( physical product) but to add value i want to add a printable of recipe, where i can give the link to the customer so that i will go to the customer directly.
Since you’re selling a physical good and not a digital download, you will manually have to send it to them, or if you’re selling the cutting board, you can include a product insert with a QR code so that when they get the cutting board, they just scan the QR code and it brings up the recipe
