Pre-ordered! The 24, 50, and 100 for primes, plus the 20-60 that's virtually the same size and 67mm filter, makes a pretty compelling compact, minimalist kit.
That is an awesome set of lenses. I’d add want to add the super zoom which is mentioned in the L mount lens roadmap. Hopefully it benefits from this new tech which enables the 100mm macro lens to be so small!
I do a lot of nature work, and this should be a great double duty insect/portrait lens.

I have the 50mm 1.8 and was looking at the 85, but now that the 100 is out, it is on my short list. Just need to wait for a sale. I have the old MF nikkor 105 (30yr old lens) adapted, but would like AF, and being 1/3 the weight does not hurt.
I hope Panasonic make one more 1.7 telephoto; maybe a 85-100 micro4/3 lens.
I have the 35mm 1.8 and was thinking about getting another lense. This 100mm looks amazing. I'd also like the 24mm. But if they are all the same size and roughly the same weight, why are they so differently priced? Is it a supply and demand thing or is it to do with the technology inside the lense? Thanks again for your Lumix content.
I believe it is down to popularity? Although would also love to know this. 50mm is super affordable while the 18mm is over double in some cases!?

I wonder whether the new tech LUMIX has developed which enabled them to make the 100mm so small, will also enable lumix to shrink in size other new lenses in the future? I’d love a 7cm super zoom (say 20 to!

Does AF works well when you start a very close eye shots then move few meters behind to get a normal head shot ?

Im using the sigma 150mm 2.8 macro for this exact purpose:)
Its cumbersome, though.. but has a mechanical focus ring and a lens support threaded mount.
How does the 85mm 1.8 compare? Also could you switch to apc crop mode and get the same results-ish?
Cool lense but as a micro four thirds user with a sigma 56mm 1.4 i am not impressed.
Not a macro lens, not really comparable.
@@aldolega mft has closer distance than full frame what full frame users consider macro is normal for mft guys with many lenses . I dont use it for macro anyway
