- Here is a favourite of mine, a miracle by this chorus (Art director: Vladimir Chirkov), a "crescendo" regarding intensity from the first to the last note. I always remain very impressed by this, till the last chord ff leave me without breath.
It brings up emotions for which I didn't know that they exist in me...

I haven't. This is the only lp of this kind I have, and I would happily take the cd if I'll find. I had taken in an "Italian/Russian library", were they sold such masterpieces as the ten lps "Chaliapin Vocal Art" at the low price of, more or less, 30$ (depending on the change), while another store in town was selling it at 500/600 !

I would`t like to disapoint you but the song is devoted to V.Lenin, his stay in Shusha or Shushenskoye. It`s a village in Siberia where he spent his exile.
does not disappoint me . I still call that city , Leningrad . Why change it ( back) to name of man who betrayed Jesus at the crucifiction !

Yeah, it's in Siberia, village called Shushenskoye. The river is actually called Shush. Amazing choir, amazing composition, amazing land.
