I had those glasses as a kid to prevent assassins creeping up behind me. I was lucky to get through my formative years.
It was ninjas wasn’t it.. I had the same problem back then.. 🥷🏾
bruh you serious?
@@smellslikeyoubootlooped they ain’t even new
@@just-a-fnf-fan yeah, ninjas have been around for a long time.
A friend of mine was playing around with the pair I had and was so focused on what was behind him he walked directly into a fucking door lol
Replace the pop out knife on the shoes with a mirror.
Make a million.
I had a pair of those see behind glasses.... back in the 70s as a prize in my cereal.
The glasses seeing behind you have been out for at least 30 years now I love it how companies say they're the first.
Exactly! I remember a pair of spy glasses as a kid, I was able to see behind me.
We used to order them from the back of comic books for a dollar or two.
Yeah this channel is bullshit. FM Transmitters can be detected with a cheap transistor radio too.
Same as the frisbee and the inline roller skates they were available in the fifties. I owned each of them.
I had a couple pairs of those glasses. I think they were only a dollar or two.
I had a spy set as a kid and it had glasses like that, that let you see behind you and worked pretty much identically to those ones, it isn’t new or unique and I would be surprised if they got a patent on it.
Yep, I had a pair back in the mid '80s. You could get them cheap in stores that sold gimmick sunglasses.
Came to say that exact thing
Prob got the patent on the fact they put a bend in the lens to angle the mirror.
They where in Happy Meals at McDonald's in the 90's.
@@mechanismguy that's what I was thinking, if they did then it is crazy what you can get patents on now.
I had a pair of mirrored sunglasses that I received in the 90s in a kids spy kit!
Cutting edge indeed. Lol
lol, I bought a cheap plastic pair at a kids toy shop at the mall for like, $10, $20 at the most.
So they added an angle to the glasses and made them 10x more expensive.
Cool!
Just discovered this channel and already been through tons of vids. Content is great!
Go touch grass
Content is from people who actually create content and products with a voiceover full of outdated and poor information.
I love how this channel always cheers me up no matter what. Kudos!
2:47 this tech is over 30 plus years old. It came out for kids in the 80’s. It was sold separately, but was one of 10 items for sale. For kids that wanted to be Spies. I had a pair.
Yep. I had a pair.
90’s kid. I also had a pair, purchased from the local toy shop for about £5 when some time around 1998.
“Completely new - patented - $160”. I nearly spat out my drink 😂
I also had a pair.
175$?
I thought i got ripped off when I was a kid when I bought a pair from a gift shop for 15 but okay
Where's my bullet proof dress? Just men in suits get bp fabric?
Lol I had those sunglasses as a kid, they came in a spy kit I got for Christmas from a teacher. Back when we had small classes
The best from all is...The John Wick's suit of course it doesn't look bulletproof but it does completely distinctive.
I bet a person would get some serious brusing.
It might stop a bullet but that bullet hits over a rib it will probably at least be bruised and possibly cracked.
@@shawnr771 A .44 magnum would feel like someone beat you with a bat still.
@@shawnr771 Or maybe it hurts him for a few minutes at least will save somebody's life.Looks to be in first steps wait and will become better.
@@chrisk.1539 I saw a ballistic material demonstration over a block of clay.
The transfer impact could only be a certain number of millimeters in depth.
The US government said 44mm, which is alnost 2 inches.
The material they showed handled most handgun rounds at less than half that.
They did not shoot .44 magnum at it.
They did shoot multiple .45 ACP in the same spot with no penetrations through the vest.
Still going to hurt but better than dead.
@@shawnr771 better than to be dead...if you ask me....
If your reading this, have a good day 😜
You as well
You too buddy
@@paulgeorge7557 cheers mate
@@debpryor31 thanks 👍🙌
Thank mr.llama
I just marvel at these brilliant new inventions. Although the manufacturer of the " Shoe-Knife " needs a kick up the arse to even think putting that item on the market is a good idea.
You're still going to get some serious internal damage from bullets hitting that suit though. The metal won't enter but the force is still there.
And Chinese 'smart' watch designed for cheats... says it all really.
The glasses I used to buy them at a novelty shop in Yakuza Japan just outside the naval base
Graffiti artists are already using those power ascenders.
Whooaaaa.... What a cutting-edge technology! From couple of years ago...
Some very cool gadjets.
That suit 😍 🔥
Well done. Good job.
2:20 - These glasses aren't new.... I had a pair when I was a kid in the early 90s, I got them from a catalog for $2 or something and I think I still have them. These are probably better because the tech back then was reflective tape stuck to the inside of the glasses.... LoL
Got the glasses in the 80s, still got them, they were a £5er🇬🇧💯🎬😜
New? Those spy glasses been around. I had a pair as a kid 😅
The HindSight glasses allow you to look behind you to see if Baldi is catching up without having to press the [SPACE] key
Great channel! Thanks 👍
Bullet proof suit , protect vansy gadgets are awesome 😎😎 love from Pakistan
the bullet proof suit is mindblowing
I show these to my grandma when she falls asleep, better than coffee
I had glasses like that in the 90's.
The mirror glasses have been around since before I was born def not new 😂😂😂
I had one of those mirrored glasses about 30 years ago
Rosa Kleb was the original for the shoe blade in From Russia With Love. In the movie she didn't connect with Bond but in the book she did. Next book was You Only Live Twice when Bond is saved
Combining the power ascender with regenerative braking could be a good combination that greatly increases the battery life, a lot of the energy used when ascending could be reclaimed when descending.
Especially if it was using something else for power than electricity to aid the battery mechanically given a few things
@@jonasandersson7367 being powered from something other than a battery would remove a lot of the benefits of regenerative braking and this device in general. Do you really want an engine right next to your face and maybe inside too?
Regenerative braking works well with electric drive systems, it works with hybrid too but doesn't quite have the same benefits due to needing both an engine and a motor.
The ascender wouldn't need to work any differently to how it currently does, it would just need an esc capable of regenerative braking.
I had glasses like that w mirrors 10 yrs ago
Feeding the RUclips algorithm. Informative video. Thanks.
Those "new and one and only" spyglasses.. remember me of my "spyglasses" I had as a kid... from a kids magazine. Some shades with Mirrors on oh the outer quater of the inside of the lenses... for about 3 Euro?
I remember getting glasses like that as a reward when selling magazines back in the day (school fund raisers in the 90s. So no, that's not "new tech" 😆 lol
I have one of those Faraday bags. They work.
You can use a microwave too. I mean don't turn it on of course, but with the door closed a microwave is a perfect faraday cage.
the knife in the shoe was seen on an old television show wild wild west, what's next removable heel for hiding weapon?? but love the going up/down fast on rope but, If I was using it, it would break. the dart drone seems really interesting. keep up the good work
I'm waiting for the shoe phone myself, Get Smart was the best
TIHK is amazing!!! I have one on EVERY pair of boots and at the back loop of my UF Pro Shooting Pants. You can get about 2-3 uses out of one key so don’t buy just one! Buy a dozen as you can practice with one and use a bunch and give the rest to friends as you’ll be a hero!
Nice video, thanks :)
lol yeah that suit looks comfy :P
I had glasses like that when I was 12 and I'm pretty sure I only paid 5 dollars from some martial arts magazine. I even brought ninja stars and a grappling hook
Nice and informative video. Liked and subscribed
6:48 Flick knives are illegal in the UK. I imagine this will still be the case regardless of where they're kept.
The first shoe dagger I ever saw was Rosa Klebb's in the James Bond movie "From Russia with love". 1963. ......which funnily enough is on ITV4 next week.
@@Another-Address I never liked the idea of flick knives being banned. Many a time I would have found a little one useful on my keyring, to cut open a parcel, string or on some such occasion when I've only one hand free.
Everything cool is banned in the UK.
@@brendasg155 Although they missed out the sound system that came with my car. I've often thought 'Man this is so good I don't know why it's legal.'😎
The glasses were included in a box of children's cereal when I was a kid.
I like the suit.👍
I had the look behind glasses back in the 80's. Adjusted for inflation, the $20 I paid back then, it about the same price too.
Haha I used to own some of those mirror glasses when I was a kid.... sure were not 100 bucks though
Yeah, it's a very old idea. Not sure why they think it's so amazing.
Don't know how they can patent that. I have one from 40 years ago.
@@tanucci733 , it's probably the specific angle, thickness of material, etc. If I understand correctly, you can patent something if it's just different enough from something else. It seems kinda dumb sometimes.
Everyone gangsta until soldiers show up in tuxedos
The Yps spy glasses 😎🤣🤣🤣
wow..love it
Hell yeah John Wick suit is real
Muito obrigado galera, Agora vai ficar mais fácil minha vida de SPY .
i love how the last one claimed it could be used while you sleep (hanging on the door), but only had 2hrs/charge!! LMAO!!!
If you want mirrored glasses, get a pair of shades that are flat, a common fashion of such is the circle lenses.
I must be wearing the hindsight glasses because I feel like I had them back in the days
I use to sell these glasses in the 90s lol
The John Wick suit would have been better had it been tested on a human
0:15 JOHN WICK Suit Up! - Barney Stinson - HIMYM :D
The creative XP is basically Venom Snakes Binoculars from MGS V. I was looking for something like that for years.
Cool stuff
Just wondering, what does the power ascender have to do with spies? It's more like the one I used to use while I was a arborist
Maybe like be a spider man up the side of a high rise and spy on people or escape from someone chasing you on the ground? But then they could shoot you IDK , and like that bullet proof suit, the shooter could just aim for the head right? I just use foil to wrap my phone and credit cards when I'm traveling im too cheap.
I I had most of these me and my friends would have really interesting battles
Hindsight: glasses like this have been around for a long time.
Funny those glasses with the mirrors on them I think I won a pair of those in a coin pusher at a festival😂
I had a pair of sunglasses like that in the 80s they were $5
I had a pair of “spy glasses” almost 40 years ago as a kid lmao
Same 😂
yeh, they used to sell them as mail order on the back of magazines, didn't they?!
I’m referring to the “spy tech” toys. I think that was the name brand
I had someof those glasses. They came with a spy kit
The glasses were available at Spencer's 20 years ago for 20 bucks
Bonne invention ❤😊
Wonderful
3:25 the voice crack LOL
Jethro From The Beverly Hillbillies Made A Pair Of Blade Boots... & Put The Blade In Backwards... When Copying Naught Naught Seven (007 James Bond Circa 1965?) Lol.
those classes... i had a pair like that in the 90s. with the semi mirror on the edges, came with a kids spy kit. (totally new tech) my arse
So of the 2 bug detectors the only problem with the second was that it was 1/8th the price of the first?
From Russia with Love! How do you guys miss this stuff!
Lol the rear view glasses used to come in cerial boxes when the original spy kids movie came out
Love that power ascender! The Surin suit might be handy in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, or D.C. The boot knife will get you a nice felony conviction in most US states.
Only if you get caught. AR15 is no problem, but boot knife or a walking stick sword? Outrageous! Dangerous! Lock em up!
Ha not sure why you singled out Portland or Seattle? There are many many more places where gun homicide rates are worse, like Omaha NE, Jacksonville FL and Dallas.
5:57 Designer should use C02 cartridges to fire the darts. More power and lighter weight than the spring powered design.
i only made it a little over 4 minutes.. im 42 this technology is very very old.. we had everyone of these products for a very long time.
Blade in shoe was in From Russia With Love back in 1963.
The rear view glasses have been around for 35 to 40 years.
2:15 Those glasses were on sold on TV in the 90s for you guessed it....$19.95
I can not believe that pair of binoculars is fog proof.
The mirror glasses aren't new. They came out in the 2000s and you use to get them with the spy kids movie 🤣
They had these glasses out in the 90s
The bullet resistant suit is cool, but I didn't see any indication that the suit has trauma plates.
Without trauma plates, being shot while wearing bulletproof clothing can still kill you. Without trauma plates, the trauma from a bullet impact will cause broken bones and damage organs. A shot to the chest, for example, can punch bones into lungs or cause the heart to stop. And, the larger the calibre, the more trauma a person will feel.
John Wick did fine without plates🍻
Hell the suit will stop the red from coming out but its gonna sitll be a 9mm rock being flung at you at over 1000 feet per sec in under 25ft
Lol hell plates, steel or ceramic still feel like you got hit beat with a bat lol but will still get ur survival exponentially higher
The vest was the trauma plate.
6:30 the drones would be good for tranquillizing animals in the wild. Also, for tagging for GPS tracking.
I had the same glasses when i was 5
Right boot!
2:22 The glasses I hade in my Miky mouse magesin 1990 already 😂😂 but I found them cool
The bullet proof suit gave me a good laugh, i would have a heart attack after all the broken ribs.
The creators of the rear view glasses must have had the same comic books I had when I was a kid
I had the glasses about 20 years ago. 10 bucks.
Those hindsight glasses what are available in the 1980s! I had a pair didn't even know it at the time I put them on and the shock and I could see behind me at the same time
BEST VIDEO
I had "spy gear" toy sunglasses like those when i was a kid...im now 42.
Me too. They didn't cost that much either.
They had the rearview sun glasses back in the 80s
