- Here is the latest from Sofirn with their Q8 Plus flashlight kit. This is sporting six XHP50B LEDs for an in impressive wide flood beam that has nice throw as well. Powered by the three included 21700 cells and will provide nice runtimes. USB Type C charging system will quickly get them charged or topped off on the go. Rugged construction. Tri-pod mountable. You can fully program this light to your liking due to the Anduril UI software or use it right out of the box with the simple version as shown in this review. The light is a bit heavy and is basically the size of a soda can. See link below:

It can get super hot, that 16K doesnt last long. Use molicel P45B for 20K + lumens. I put a Convoy handle on mine. A very impressive wall of light for the money.
Thanks for watching!
i love SOFIRN. I have been using SP36. but this one stole my heart..... Thank you for the review....
YW! Thanks for watching!
haha, thanks for your like!
I just ordered this light. Expected delivery tomorrow.
The price point and UI is what made my decision as a first big boy torch.
Thanks for the review!!!
YW. Let me know your thoughts when you get it in your hands. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for this review & just yesterday I purchased this flashlight for 65 dollars
Thanks for watching!
Very nice review thanks Mr Charles
YW! Thanks for watching!
Love this light it's definitely one of the best value for money when it comes to light output, i use the molicel p42a high discharge cells in mine for over 20,000 lumens output, very impressive for a light in this size.
Love Mollicell too! Thanks for watching!
Most RUclipsrs recommend Molicel P45B! Are Sofirn batteries sufficient or do you recommend Molicel P45B?
@@hatemzahra0075 Mollicel are some of the best you can buy. I love them.
Love my q8 plus too ^^ for the price it's fantastic

Sofirn become crazier in 2024.!! ❤❤❤

Great flashlight video, The model and design are the same as Astrolux EC06.
Thanks for watching!
Lot of videos that have this in Turbo mode don't. Need to press the button 10 times. After the flash, double press the button for turbo mode.
Thanks for watching!
Three 21700 cells! Perfect search and emergency torch. Simple UI. Another great review

Nice 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
With better batteries apparently the light will output somewhere around 20k lumens as it was measured by light meter.
Great light and great review ❤
Yes higher amp cells will boost performance a bit but included cells are fine. Thanks for watching!
Will you make a comparrison video between SP36Pro, Q8Pro, FT02S and EA01S
Probably not. Thanks for watching!
can someone help me, my sofirn q8 plus isnt that powerfull anymore and i think i know why, i havent cleaned it and it says in the manual to clean it or else it may effect the performance, but how do i clean it? where do i clean and with what
Clean springs and all metal contacts on the head of the light, tail cap and etc. Thanks for watching!

My q8 plus has 2 led constantly on with battery in (21700 button top) someone knows what the problem could be?
Thanks for answers...
Try to factory reset light by holding down the side switch while you fully tighten the barrel until it blinks. Then try to see if that helps. Thanks for watching!
Charles, what would you say the light sustains its lumens output at after it cycles down from highest mode?
About 1700 lumens. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Charles. 👍👍

good day. is that a painted steel bezel or is everything aluminum? thanks!
It's aluminum. Thanks for watching!
Hello, I have a query. I plan to buy this flashlight, but the primary concern is its battery. Which battery should I purchase, the factory one or the Molicel one? I would like to know if using these two unprotected cells in SoFirn Q8 Plus is safe for me? It would mean a lot to me if you could assist me. Thank you.. I apologize for my poor English
You can only use unprotected cells in this light for protected cells are too long. Molicel battery would be an upgrade but the cells that come with it are fine. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec Thanks for the information. May God bless you ☺️👍🏻
@@Muhammad_azim11 TY!
Most RUclipsrs recommend Molicel P45B! Are Sofirn batteries sufficient or do you recommend Molicel P45B?
Sofirn cells are not as powerful as the Mollicel but will provide good runtimes. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec Thank you very much Mr Charles for your interest
@@hatemzahra0075 YW!
Mr Charles & What is the difference between batteries with protected or unprotected cells?
One has protection and the other doesn't. Thanks for watching!
I mean, is there any danger in unprotected Sofirn batteries, or in other words, what are the disadvantages of these batteries? @@CharlesBridgTec
I just got sofirn Q8plus and the batteries are included. Do you recommend buying batteries with protected cells? Or are the sofirn batteries sufficient and there is nothing wrong with that?
@@hatemzahra0075 Nope only use unprotected cells only
Thank you very much
Which is better
Which ever you want to be better... Thanks for watching!
I have that torch but its really get hot to handle
Use it on the lower outputs. Thanks for watching!
They make a handle built in like the Manker MK38 or Imalent SR 32.
I regret buying this and the 36 pro because they're just too heavy and bulky. I love Sofirn lights though just not a fan of "pop can" flashlights.

Why does everything have to be made in China.
Well, ask the politicians. Thanks for watching!
@CharlesBridgTec I always watch your reviews. It's just sad every time i catch that made in China label. I know you have no control. As for the politicians, let's just say Benedict Arnold was an amateur, if you get my drift.
@@cg1288 Yeah but the politicians outsource 96% to other countries on 90% electronics etc. so their is no surprise with flashlights in my opinion.
Eh, the spill is not as bright in person as it is on camera as is always the case. Was not super impressed by this one in person.
