2016 Ford Fusion: How to connect a Bluetooth device to Ford's Sync System

Showing some people how to connect their device to Ford's Sync Bluetooth system.
Sorry about the quality. I used an old LG F5 to record this.
2016 Ford Fusion
You can only pair one phone at a time to Ford Sync
You cannot go straight to media and select the Bluetooth option to connect your phone/device. You have to connect your device through the phone tab.

Ford is so stupid for this... Why even have a media button for Bluetooth when you can only connect it through the phone mode???? I sat in my forever hitting the Bluetooth sync button with no results. Good old American ingenuity.

I'm able to add my Bluetooth music. But it won't connect my phone? It did before but now it won't. Is there a way to connect the phone? I did what u did in the video and reconnected it but its not working. If u do have a solution please lmk. I can't drive and touch my phone at the same time. I don't think so. After you connect the phone with the Ford Sync system you can go to media and select the bluetooth option and play music from there. As soon as you select a song it should play

I just bought a new one and i can sync my phone to my car just fine i just cant figure out how to get the contacts into my car. so I cant just click the voice activation and say "call so and so." I can type the number in but thats not convenient when driving. Can you explain an easy way to get those in my car?

It does show some song's title and artist just depends on what kind of music file it's reading.

You don't need an app. Sync is the name of Ford's entertainment system, music player etc....
