Nehemia, I have seen this before, but it always brings me to tears. I never met Reggie, but he would understand. His testimony about wanting to learn Hebrew and seeing the Codex and all was so moving to me. I cried the first time I saw it because I knew I was not alone. I know only a little Hebrew and have never seen the Codex, but I was drawn to the Torah by Yehovah back in 2006. Although I had a great congregation to learn in, El Shaddai ministries under Mark Biltz, I was alone as far as my family and close friends. Very few understood the changes I was going through and the things I was learning.But then, you came along, Nehemia. The Reggie testimony led to you coming to our congregation and teaching a couple times. I even got to have lunch with you and some others and you came to a home fellowship a couple times over the years. I devoured your and Keith's books - not to follow you men, but because I found Truth and you proved what you were saying by scripture always. I know my Father's Name now! I might have gone my whole life without knowing. I am still in a small minority who speak His Name as YEHOVAH, but I can find it in the Bible, the other ways aren't there. I just say this to again say, Thank You! I had learned about the feasts prior to meeting you, but had not heard about the Aviv search and it's importance; I did not know about people sighting the New Moon in Israel before; Now I am able to follow God's calendar as close as I can (despite others opinions to the contrary). You also taught about Yeshua's name from Hebrew Matthew which is still amazing to me - among other points you've brought up. You won't know this, but I actually wrote a "thank you" letter to you a few years ago and had the people in our home group sign it. We gave it to you when you visited and I even heard that for a while you carried that around with you as you travelled. It doesn't matter who I am, but I jus KNEW I was supposed to write that and thank you. Maybe you needed encouragement at that time, I don't know.This Reggie video just brought all of this back to me again. If you ever wonder, Yehovah has mightily used you to help many many people. @Nehemiah Gordon I found you because of Reggie. I read an article about how he had a deep desire to learn the root meaning of each Hebrew word and that he found you through a mutual friend. I wish that I could have been a nat on the wall to hear your discussions with Regg. Reggie was an important part of my born again experience. He went out of his way to call me the day I got saved and spent about a half of an hour walking me through the importance of my decision and what to do next. One of those things was to get baptized. So I asked him if he would baptize me and he said that he would be honored. So one day when he was in town he baptized me in a hotel bathtub LOL. Anyway, thank you for all that you do! May Yehovah bless you immensely!
So did I! I saw the video made of Reggie after he passed and it was so moving. Someone told me about Nehemia and I urged my pastor at the time to have him come to our congregation. He did, and from there I learned SO MUCH more. Nehemia's books, Torah Pearls and other teachings have been huge in my growth as a believer in Yeshua! How crazy is that since he is not yet convinced that Yeshua is the Messiah.Ted, how amazing that you knew Reggie and he helped you as a young believer and baptized you! God is so good. I ordered your book on the differences between the European Jesus and the Hebrew Yeshua. It is because of Reggie I have been on a journey to find the truth. My mother was very religious like him, but allowed me to discover spirituality for myself. Having said the sinners prayer, and that be it never really felt right to me and then I learned that Reggie was learning Hebrew to understand the true message and I am convinced he did before he was called home.
They can and did. They were very expensive, and Reggie bought a copy each for Nehemia and Kieth and himself. They're out of them now, but pray they'll print more (1:1 photocopy).
