@@yoastertoaster8306 I didnt lol but I saw the issue why I wasnt achieving it. I forgot on GGS your position matters! If you are on the center of the stage it will be hard to achieve, I think you wont be able but not 100% sure. But when I was trying it I realized randomly(and then I remembered this general rule on any other GG game) that when you are close to the walls of the stage, people wont go farther than that, walls are the limits so enemies wont fly far away from you than the way they do it on the center of the stage. You will have a chance to be closer to them if you do the combo close to the walls than doing so on the center of the stage. Being on the center or close to the walls is important in GG and in any other FG, but in GG it allows a huge amount of combo followups.
@@xReisk This is true but for this move specifically it will break the wall, the real issue was that I wasn't inputting forward twice before the Roman cancel. Thanks for replying though! :)
@@yoastertoaster8306 Oh no worries, I was actually bad here also lol... But that part about being on the center or close to the wall is a general knowledge, this didnt need it but for other combos it applies. I just checked again! Might be a dumb question, but when you roman cancel you seem to move forward slightly. I try roman cancelling and I stay in place even when I hold forward on the stick. What am I doing wrong?
You have to input a dash in the direction you wanna slide in before the cancel. Like if you wanna slide towards the enemy you do your hit, input forward twice then roman cancel. Works in other directions too.
You can also map your dash button and use that after your RC and just hold the stick forward if a double forward stick input is dropping your strings ✌️
@@greedsin555 It seems like you can do it without delay really easily on chipp but not ky-- haven't tested it with anyone else-- but still good to know
In Guilty gear and a lot of other anime fighting games, direction inputs are written using the numpad system so QCB is 214, assuming player is facing right. Fireball motions or QCF is 236 and DPs are written as 623. Standing and crouching are 5 and 2 respectively. This helps a lot with recognizing quickly and gets across the language barrier in a lot of these games.
The timing is a bit tricky, you need to be on the ground for a tiny bit before you are able to mega fist again. Do it too early and you won't mega fist at all.
Yo can approach because de hitstun is very large, or you can use the P.Buster tech where you input 6K and cancel it into Potemkim Buster, it's kinda difficult but very useful to learn
@@SgtWally ? If your asking how you input double forward motion before roman cancel you can do it any direction and it moves you forward Abit with a blue after image. It's still a red roman cancel but the blue effects of it confused me.
