Since you love the Goes To Hell album, you might like this. The entire ending of the song, "Wish You Were Here," is lifted verbatim from the song, "Stage Door Queen" by Ursa Major, one of Dick Wagner's past bands/albums. That's why he has a co-writing credit on the song. When I learned that I immediately went to Amazon to see if by chance it was still in print on CD, and it was. Listen to the song and there are only tiny hints early on, but roughly two minutes and twenty seconds in it is exactly the same as the instrumental section at the end of "Wish You Were Here." Wagner said he discussed it with Bob Ezrin, and they thought it would be a cool Easter egg to plant in the song to see how many people would recognize it.
You are correct... I DID like that! That is the kind of comments and annecdotes I want people to share here! I went and listened to it and it was good! Now, i must try and find it!
