On the size of the world: It mentions 'Bywater', which is the village of the Shire where the battle against Saruman took place - it's right near Hobbiton - so I think it will just be the village itself and maybe some of the fields around it? But then you can see the Party Tree from Bilbo's house, so maybe you can travel a bit further too (or it's just Hobbit Aesthetic to have a big tree on top of a hill and it's not in Hobbiton at all, either is possible!)
I’m hoping this means we can go to The Green Dragon! 🥺

OH my gosh! It's going to be on the Switch! I love how stylistic that game is! It stands out from the sea of generic farming sim games! the characters look a bit low-poly but I don't mind it too much! Crossing my fingers for multiplayer 🤞 Thank you for checking it out, Josh!!! 🥰

I get the confusion, but if I remember correctly, Bywater is the name of one of the Hobbit villages.

OMGGGF!!! I was screaming along with you while watching ittttt! I am so excited!!!! 😭 I’ve watched LOTR more than I can count and this is right up my alley!!! I love the magical vibes 🥹💗 oh how I hope it is just as good as it seems!
The character design isn't bad, but the animations look a little "goofy" on purpose. Like the skipping and exaggerated walking. That somehow doesn't gell well with the aesthetics otherwise that feel more peaceful and charming rather than quirky and silly.
But, I do have a lot of hope they do something special with this. It could be really fun or sweet.
I do want a bigger farm though...

Thank you so much for covering this! I've been following the page since the announcement last year but missed this new update while in the gym. Luckily, I have the notification bell for your channel on ;3. I am so happy it's on the switch. That's the only console I have and my pc is a potato. I'm hoping they do a release for the consoles all on the same day instead of staggered like other titles (cough Hogwarts). LOL I love how both of us spotted the mid graphics and first reaction was 'Oh it's not HD maybe it'll be on switch' haha. Thanks again for the video. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the video, Josh. I’m looking forward to seeing more of this game. I noticed the game preview mentioned that Weta Workshop was involved. They were involved in the Peter Jackson Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies. Also, it’s nice to see at least a little diversity among the hobbits in the preview.

I think it's pretty but I'm not a fan of the Hobbits feet style but Idk if we can wear shoes lol. Maybe it won't be that bothersome when playing it. Kinda interested to see how it will be for Switch tho but I'm feeling like it'll come out during autumn/end of the year

Not likely, it's kind of the main feature of a hobbit.. none of the hobbits wore shoes in Lord of the Rings either. I agree they do look a little creepy..
The hair looks like a decal. Needs some work on the opacity and placement.
Ah, I'm so excited!! I was just grinning the whole way through the trailer :D Do we know yet whether there will be physical copies for consoles? If not, I think I'll get this on Steam for the better performance

I can't help but be so excited for this game, even if the latest LOTR titles have been flops. Hopefully this developer makes an actually good farming game that can compete with some of the stellar recent releases.
It seems to touch on all the things I want in a farm sim, but the graphics are a little 😬

I am kind of over open world farm sims. It wouldn't be so bad if t here was more to do/points of interest. More times than not, though, it's empty.
I hope we'll be able to play multi-player. That would be very fun.

RUclips said people using ad blockers would start seeing video unavailable more, so that might be the issue you're seeing.
I'm not using any ad blocker. The reason is it turned out the channel where I was watching the trailer posted it earlier than supposed to (basically they leaked it a few hours before the trailer was officially revealed), so they either removed or unlisted it.

What's your favorite mini game for fishing what game does it best? Stardew Valley is fishing souls difficulty.

Find it relaxing without being boring.
Fishing is quite good in Harvest Moon Winds of Anthos.
Looks cozy and will be looking forward to it,but will say looks like they choose to go off something other than source material..So hoping they do something cool with the story...Otherwise they could've went and created their own style of story/background.
It looks cute, but sorta limited in terms of story and gameplay. I'll wait and see what they show in future trailers, but the limited garden and small amount of decorations is not giving me confidence. :(

Concept - good
GamePlay loop - I have questions but, on the whole, intrigued...
Artstyle - uh... hm... ... ... it doesn't *look* like Weta's work - it looks like some third party mobile ap... if the gameplay is good, like, I really don't *care* how it looks - but it's gonna need some solid gameplay chops to get past something that looks so basic...
The Switch version will run at 8 fps and have massive pop-in no doubt. The system is vastly underpowered now, this game looks good though and I'm sure it will be great on PC/PS5/Xbox/Steam Deck.
I am so disappointed at the visuals it looks like an old game from 2009. Hopefully, this is only the switch footage from the switch.
I’m not a LOTR fan but I just don’t vibe with the character designs at all. Lol I find them kind of ugly tbh. Like, the backgrounds look fine to me but it’s hard to get past the character designs.
Looks kinda janky and ugly to me. I hope this is, like, in development stuff, and not remotely final stuff. It just... even the trailer is lagging. Yikes.
