I’m glad this video is available. I am a 63 year-old Judo coach. Judo is very strenuous, especially at my age. I use this stretching routine to work out the soreness and stiffness the day after Judo workouts. It’s relaxing and stretches all the main muscle groups.
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this! This stretch routine is absolutely AMAZING! It’s relaxing and beginner friendly. I love doing this routine at night about 1 hour before bed.
Thank you, Richard! I so appreciate you!! If you only knew how often this video has helped me!! I have rheumatoid arthritis and have been using this video for 15 plus years! I faithfully do it every day with few exceptions. I've taken it with me out of town, used it in airports etc. In the past, I had to have the DVD and either a computer or player, but I've used this link on my phone for quite a few years now. So convenient! I seriously love you, and I pray for the Lord to bless you!!! You've helped me and continue to help me SO much!!! And I'm sure many, many others can say the same! So here's to you and our time together every day!! My family know that when. I say, "It's time to do Richard" that I'll be back in about 15 minutes. Most of the time I say, "I'm headed to the porch to do Richard." 😁😅🤗❤️ cause that's our spot!!
I have this on VHS but needed to be able to access it in a different media format. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is my all time favorite stretch routine. 🙌🏼💕
Thank you for posting this! My fave stretch routine of all time, but I could no longer play my VHS tape. I’ve been able to do parts of it from memory, but it’s great to see the whole routine again.
This seems to be a love letter from Richard to his fans. Thanks so much for sharing. I did this after my workout and I feel like I just had a really good massage.
I have pain in my body and I am only 38years old, so I can no longer do strenuous stuff, ONLY RICHARD SIMMONS STUFF! Thank you Richard for making my weight loss journey with less pain! You are in my prayers Richard!
RIP Richard. Thank you for being so kind, sweet, authentic, patient, sensitive, enthusiastic, cheerful. You were as cheerful as the sun and as gentle as the moonlight. You were the cheerleader to our homes. So many felt encouraged by you. You made fitness and exercise peaceful and non-intimidating. Sorry we didn't see u on TV for the last few years. RIP always Richard. You are an inspiration for kindness. Will watch all your videos on RUclips. You will be missed, but I think you're an angel now. 🙏
I have been ill for many years and have gotten so sedentary. Started this one today sitting on the bed. OMG the cracks and pops! Thanks so much for sharing this. I still have my VHS of this, but my VCR tried to eat it. Thank you, Richard, wherever you are! Xoxo
My dad would do this video every morning before work in the 90's. He recently passed away and watching this again has brought me so much joy! hysterical!
Thankyou So Much I Always was a Huge fan of Richard. I’m 65 and having a hard time with his passing This stretch I will do everyday in his Memory. R.I.P. Richard You’ve always been An Amazing Soul that helped so many people.😇
I've been looking for this video for years! I think it came as a bonus video with either Deal a Meal or maybe in a pack with Sweatin to the Oldies. I used to do this video every night. At 56 years old and nursing a few injuries I've found that my body just doesn't bounce back like it used to. I tried one more desperate attempt to find it because I needed stretches to help my recovery. I can't believe I found it! You have no idea how much gratitude I have for you posting this. Much love and a million thank yous.
I know this an old video but thanks so much for posting it. My drama teacher in high school would play this and we would follow along as part of "warm ups". Glad to be able to watch (and stretch) all these years later!
Super Glad I found this on You Tube.... I loved doing this routine in the 1990’s & I still love 💕 doing it now - I had lost 30lbs. back then & sure need to take more then that off again - I like how this work-out isn’t too hard, but that you can feel you’ve worked out....
I have watched and used this video since 1994 - thank you for posting, so I can share. This is my go to exercise video for recovery from cancer, surgeries and arthritis attacks, :( and now, to keep active in the first phases of widowhood -- "familiar" is so comforting
Thank you soooooo much!! Just what I needed for my stretch routine!! And the applause at the end really helps to keep me motivated. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Oh my God! 🙌😭 Thank you so much for sharing this. I have been looking for this on DVD for years, and I can only ever find it online on a VHS cassette. When I was really little, I used to LOVE 💕, LOVE ❤️, LOVE 💕 doing this workout routine with my Mom and sisters. I used to pretend I was a prima ballerina, and it was always my favorite part of the pre or post workout warm up or cool down. You’ve given me an immense gift of cherished memories from my childhood, and I’m forever grateful to you and the wonderful treasure that is Richard Simmons. Thanks again! 😊👏❤️
A lovely workout. Fans, I used two, are a must! I sweat profusely evey time I follow this video. It is gentle and easy to follow even without instructions. The slow+smooth movements definitely adds challenge. Sometimes, the inhales and exhales are obvious but not always. Some parts reminds me of T-Tapp, Callanetics and/or Essentrics, all lovely too
One day I woke up to terrible back pains. Decided I need to regain some flexibility, and remembered I had this here. It's short length is perfect for encouraging my inner me to actually do it nightly
I love this video because it's the only truly easy stretching video in the world. Most "easy" stretching videos are still tough for someone as inflexible as me.
I was so excited when my son found this one. Had the VHS but let it go figuring that I could find something just as good. It's slow and gentle and most importantly, I can stick with it. Was just about to check to see if they released in in DVD

7/13/2024 🪽🤍💔 Fly high Richard. Thank you for everything
In my humble opinion, this was his finest contribution. Everybody needs it and most everyone can do it. And the music is nice. RIP
🥹✨🤍
I had a VHS copy in the 90s and it's my favorite as well. So glad to have found this. Thank you!💛
Love it! I wore the DVD out. This workout always helped with aches and pains that tended to linger. So grateful to find it. Many thanks Richard.
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this! This stretch routine is absolutely AMAZING! It’s relaxing and beginner friendly. I love doing this routine at night about 1 hour before bed.
This is so lovely. It reminds me of Prelude to the afternoon of a Faun. I love the whimsy and dancery vibe. Richard Simmons is a gift!

This video is a sign that Richard was an Artist as well as an exercise group host.
I always notice the pride in his face on that last head turn

Did my stretches today. So nice. Love this version.
I found this in my grandmother's basement that had a VHS and this was the only VHS tape that was down there. Nostalgia.
Richard Simmons was FLAT-FOOTED! Zero arches! Who knew? But he didn't let it stop him. He's my flat-footed hero!
What a great idea, classic music,my father would have loved this!!!
Thanks you for this!! My 2nd copy of the VHS tape just broke! You're a gem! P.S. We ALL miss you Richard!! :(
I know he's still alive, but he's been in hiding for YEARS :(

It's the only stretch video that is easy for someone at my level.
This video does not have a roll call at the end and no people stretching behind Richard simmons
Does anyone know the name of the last piece to this wonderful video workout?

If reincarnation truly exists, I want to come back as Richard Simmons!
What's the name of the song that plays before Richard Simmons appears?

I am not much worried about the exact science. I always feel better and that's good enough for me :)

Was going along good until an ad killed it.
I feel like Richard could have used this video opertunity a whole lot differently and instead used it to be a ballerina and dance his heart out👯
Don't you feel like a pony when you sweat?
.
This doesn't make sense. Richard Simmons Love To Stretch was better than this piece of crap!
You shhh enjoy this don't ruin it
