I actually like this kit though in saying that it can still drive me a little batty 😅 One thing I wouldn't want is to have to vacuum every room - finding space to use the vacuum can be an annoying issue so I'm glad one room = one level. The other thing that gripes me is the off the grid cleaning - not all my sims have the required handiness level but I was wondering as I watched this if I could sell upgraded vacuums in a retail shop... will have to check that out.
Overall, I find this a fun little addition to my game.

I spend too much time going into build mode to delete dust bunnies. My Sims don't vacuum autonomously, and the bunnies get out of hand very quickly.

Are you playing in a large home? Not asking to be argumentative, just wondering because I finally caved & just got the kit & I haven’t noticed the bunnies getting out of hand. I just have my sim vacuum whenever I see one (which is every few sim days). I haven’t been playing in super large homes & I’m wondering if that makes the difference.

@naeshelle Yes, they are fairly large homes, all at least two story with four or five bedrooms. One has a basement, and I even have a butler whose bedroom is in the basement, and they always spawn there. I've seen the butler vacuum, but never in her room. I actually hired the butler because we couldn't keep up (I have 4 adults and a teenager who are all capable of vacuuming). I've had several fires in the basement, the bathrooms, and the roof in one home caused by dust bunnies. Sometimes one will be behind some furniture and they can't always reach. They'll vacuum one bunny, and seconds later, another one spawns in another room. We own several vacuums, so any Sim can vacuum. I have them vacuum to perfection, then I scan the house for bunnies and delete any that remain. I only bought the kit last month.

@@naeshelleI would beg to differ, I could be in very small starter San Mysuno apartments and they just become so much. Even put down the robot from Pets and they don't do anything!!

Y’all just don’t like cleaning 😂 I only get the bunnies if I haven’t cleaned for like a week or so… because it starts to get very gloomy and dirty beforehand, you can tell when it’s getting too dirty in the household. Then once it’s clean, everything sparkles to let you know it’s spotless. I have no issues with the kit.

@marcosmith4764 I don't consider it an issue with the kit...I do like the kit. I think because I play 8 different households that the dust builds in the households I'm not currently playing. There are always a couple of dust bunnies when I start playing again. I have them clean all the floors to perfection, and even after deep cleaning, some of the bunnies are still there. Sometimes, they can vacuum the bunnies directly, and sometimes, they aren't accessible. We never wait a week to clean. Deleting the dust bunnies and dust piles is a very temporary solution as they come back in hours if my Sim doesn't vacuum right away. I just added robot vacuums to one house last night, and I think that's going to help a lot.

Yay! I wanted this video after the last one! Thanks so much!
I do like this kit but wish we could sweep or mop the dust for off the grid play as well as old time challenges

I'm saving this to come back and watch it later. I was planning on getting it because the aspirations looked hilarious, but the bugs and getting all of the free stuff randomly made me change my mind.
Edit: It looks a lot better than it used to be! They fixed the loot tables being absolutely ridiculous. I think the two other major issues were inaccessible room catching on fire, and then not being able to dust off the grid lots?

    Ayyy 3Oh!3 reference!
This video came out at a good time because I was thinking about enabling the pack again because I disabled it basically as soon as it came out lmao Glad to see it's still kind of a waste of time and I'm better off continuing to ignore it

I forgot this kit came with aspirations. A cleaning one does make sense. I like how the gurus took filthy rich literal but I know the community hates it. Should've been filthy poor. I like the dust but I don't get why it's important to add chores to the game. I know it's a life simulation game but still, might as well clean your real house.

My problem with the aspiration is to leave the food out until it spoils and let one floor level get dusty. I do these things, and the aspiration is still uncompleted.
    Annoying asf😢🤬wassup EA huh! Huh!

The design of furniture in the Sims 4 looks more late 90s boomer style than Millennial style. Millenials were doing scandi and mid century modern look on a budget with IKEA or if you were bougie, it was west elm.

tbf i think this VERY much depends on where you live. millennial grey especially in new builds was v much a thing in the uk

The thing I find most annoying about this kit is that without mods the sims will keep all the vacuums in their inventory, which makes it hard if you've got multiple sims in a household.

I find that upgrading the vacuum does nothing. I have had my Sim upgrade their vacuum, and another with no upgrade, it's just the same. And emptying the vacuum cleaner also doesn't matter. Apparently, you can keep emptying it even though you upgraded it.
