Because as a console player you shouldnt care about graphics. Sony has already proved in previous generations they have great graphics on each passing console. Games is what matters, pcs will alwauy be more powerful.
The only exclusives Xbox has is Halo and Gears of War. If you compare that to the MANY Playstation exclusives. I think the decision is pretty easily made.

I’m glad that they are at least doing Backwards Compatibility for the PS4’s games, though I do wish they would also make all of those PS1 games we bought before playable on it as well. I’d love to play the Megaman Legends games again and not feel like I wasted my money buying them on my PS3 (which I currently can’t use right now). Microsoft is doing that after all! Every single Xbox game is playable on it, making it a VERY viable console to play on to grow a person’s game library and not worry that you might not be able to play any games you bought for the next gen in the future.
I really hope they do this for PS. It’s too classic of a console to not add that feature. I still have a disc folder from 1995 with all my OG PS1 games in it. Like, PLEASE! I even have those demo discs that are so classic.

It would be nice if games made menus and script larger, though, or at least gave an option for bigger font sizes. Playing Horizon Zero Dawn or FF7R is a little difficult when it's hard as hell to read the objectives or background story material. Not game breaking by any means, but it's less enjoyable when I have to pause every few minutes and stand right next to the screen to get the full experience.

Played Assassin's Creed Valhalla on both the PS4 and PS5. The reload time after being killed or load time going on a River Raid is almost 2 min on PS4 and 15 seconds on PS5. That alone is enough of a upgrade for me.
Well, I mean if the ps4 is still a good buy then there has to be a way to upgrade it by finding or making a ssd for it to make the ps4 loading speeds on par with the ps5 and might as well get the ps5 because most of the ps4 games are going to be playable on the ps5. IDK 🤷♂️, just saying that the ps5 is way faster and a little bit of better graphics but we’ll see the truth when we have our hands on it.

Bought mine new for $189 & gave it to my step-son....Played it until RDR2 came out on PC and wanted to try it since i really liked it on ps4. OMG it was like a whole new game. PC master race for a reason! Cutting edge graphics, upgradable parts, tons & tons of content and exclusives and free games all the time. Let's not forget about the mods....GTA V alone! I got that game looking like a legit copy of GTA 6 with all real cars, buildings, people, garbage, 8k water, ray tracing, etc. Legit my mods for GTA V are like 110gigs on top of the game which is only 80 sum gigs which brings GTA V up to almost 200gigs that's like COD stats lol. Point is council's are limited and PC's are upgradable. Jst don't go intel or you need a new board for like every processor like WTF no wonder AMD is whoopin dat a** right now!!!
pc mustard race son is currently not able to walk due to continuing procedures to fix his feet and ankles. He is thrilled with LEGO marvel, Spider-Man, upcoming avengers and we are getting the Ironman and Batman VR so he can feel like a super hero. The improvement in graphics in next gen consoles has never been smaller than now and I doubt it will improve gameplay quality and enjoyment based on that alone
My PS has never made that jet engine noise. It does get hot if I play for a long time. When it's said that 'most games' will be playable on the PS5 do NOT sell your PS4 towards credit or money for the PS5.
After watching this I realized something. My coworker just payed $500 dollars for a system that isn't much different from a PS4. All you really get for double the price is some more power and faster load times is what I'm taking away from this because even GoW Ragnarok and Spider Man Miles Morales are available on the PS4 so I don't see any reason to spend more for not a big difference
PlayStation will be able to play almost all ps4 games. Xbox will be able to play all Xbox one games around 400 360 games and around 35 original Xbox games
He pretty much said it all in this video. Sony has confirmed that it will be backwards compatible with the majority of PS4 games. Any other console, either hasn't been confirmed, or seems highly unlikely due to the architecture.
I don’t care about the big tech stuff. I just want to play video games. I don’t regret just buying a PS4 a few months ago. If I can play video games I can play video games. If I can play COD without spending $400 on a PS5 then I am obviously not spending $400 for something that has extra games that cost $70 that I don’t care about instead of $60 on games that I care about.

For those talking about the backwards compatibility I read on the sony website that it's only going to be certain games. It's not going to be all ps4 games. My understanding is that it's going to be like Xbox one backwards compatibility only the games no one really plays is going to be the backwards compatibility games.... hopefully I'm wrong but since it came off the sony website I doubt I'm wrong.

I genuinely hope they sort the cooling out on PS5! I’m playing COD Warzone and my PS4 sounds like a jet engine! So annoying. I’ve took it apart and cleaned the dust etc and made no difference to fan noise.

They used anti alising and checkerbording up to 4k the pro will go up to 1600p or 1080 60p you cant get native 4k on it only checkerbording to 4k the xbox 1x plays slot of games at 4k 60 I have both and all 3rd party games go to the 1x and exclusive for the pro but battlefield 5 is 4k 60 gears 5 4k60 grid 4k60 devil may cry 4k60 forza 7 4k60 the rest are either native 4k or 1080 60fps but its native 4k so it's a good consel big difference in picture

8k TV's are a waste of money, the human eye cannot see more than 7k and difference between 4 and 7 is really miniscule. Same as the difference between 60Hz and 120Hz monitors/TV's its all just a great marketing ploy to get your hard earned money.

What good is that fast of a SSD if you can’t even buy an external SSD that will keep up. The default amount of storage space in consuls are never sufficient for the amount of games that you will want to play throughout the consuls life

It's like we're at the point where graphics can't get better anymore. They just improve the frame rate and decrease loading times

Bought mine new for $189 & gave it to my step-son....Played it until RDR2 came out on PC and wanted to try it since i really liked it on ps4. OMG it was like a whole new game. PC master race for a reason! Cutting edge graphics, upgradable parts, tons & tons of content and exclusives and free games all the time. Let's not forget about the mods....GTA V alone! I got that game looking like a legit copy of GTA 6 with all real cars, buildings, people, garbage, 8k water, ray tracing, etc. Legit my mods for GTA V are like 110gigs on top of the game which is only 80 sum gigs which brings GTA V up to almost 200gigs that's like COD stats lol. Point is council's are limited and PC's are upgradable. Jst don't go intel or you need a new board for like every processor like WTF no wonder AMD is whoopin dat a** right now!!!

After watching this I realized something. My coworker just payed $500 dollars for a system that isn't much different from a PS4. All you really get for double the price is some more power and faster load times is what I'm taking away from this because even GoW Ragnarok and Spider Man Miles Morales are available on the PS4 so I don't see any reason to spend more for not a big difference

PlayStation will be able to play almost all ps4 games. Xbox will be able to play all Xbox one games around 400 360 games and around 35 original Xbox games
He pretty much said it all in this video. Sony has confirmed that it will be backwards compatible with the majority of PS4 games. Any other console, either hasn't been confirmed, or seems highly unlikely due to the architecture.
I don’t care about the big tech stuff. I just want to play video games. I don’t regret just buying a PS4 a few months ago. If I can play video games I can play video games. If I can play COD without spending $400 on a PS5 then I am obviously not spending $400 for something that has extra games that cost $70 that I don’t care about instead of $60 on games that I care about.

For those talking about the backwards compatibility I read on the sony website that it's only going to be certain games. It's not going to be all ps4 games. They used anti alising and checkerbording up to 4k the pro will go up to 1600p or 1080 60p you cant get native 4k on it only checkerbording to 4k the xbox 1x plays slot of games at 4k 60 I have both and all 3rd party games go to the 1x and exclusive for the pro but battlefield 5 is 4k 60 gears 5 4k60 grid 4k60 devil may cry 4k60 forza 7 4k60 the rest are either native 4k or 1080 60fps but its native 4k so it's a good consel big difference in picture
@@Wolfqueen007 Yes and no. While HDR isn't always 4K and it can be FHD, the majority of HDR TV's are 4K. HDR is just the dynamic range which improves said resolution.

8k TV's are a waste of money, the human eye cannot see more than 7k and difference between 4 and 7 is really miniscule.
